This drama is bad, tbh idek why they made it. The mind reading for family only concept is good, but except the FL, everyone is so stiff in acting it made it unbearable to watch.

Tbh although the games are fun, this show is similar to hi6. Moreover, I watched several early episodes and I was annoyed at how Yang Di and Xu Zhisheng kept talking and stealing the screentime for the guests. Most guests are introverts, when the hosts are busy to themselves like that, it only makes the guests disappear into the backgrounds.

Then I watched few last episodes and it was much better 👍🏻

If there's next season, hopefully the staff can find new concept and main host.

ML is also possessive though. He got jealous when he saw her smile at Wei Shu, although at that time he just started liking her. He also often felt jealous to Yang Si and became insecure. He even made her promise to only have him. And don't forget his rage to that opera actor 😅

But anyway. The reason why ML leads her to do good is bcos he loves her. He doesn't want her to be obsessed with power. After he finds out about her past, he hates everyone who is responsible for it. That's why he becomes more protective and wishes she can be happy.

The attractive point about this title is the leads have the exact opposite personalities, principles and values. As they fall in love and spend time together, they become a better person. He helps her overcome her trauma, while she makes him a normal person (he aims to be a saint, while she wants him to show emotions just like normal human).

The FL is a princess who was once married off to a barbarian tribe. She managed to return to Chang'an. This time she vows to grow her power and influence so that no one, not even her father, can use her as a pawn ever again. Due to her traumatic past, she doesn't trust anyone. Her personality also changed drastically.

ML needs her help to get into the court bcos a mere scholar from poor family can never succeed without any backing. Even though he has many friends, the FL is after all a princess.

FL seeks power, while ML works for the people. ML then leads FL to use her power for the people. She then supports officials born from poor family. This way she gains strong foothold and loved by common people.

The cgi is beautiful. I also love the hand gestures during spells. Also the fighting scenes are cool and fast. For these aspects, this drama is on par with Legend of Shen Li.

The chemistry is great. ML's personality is so diverse, while FL is so likeable both as Mu Qingge and Xue Ranran.

This drama is beautiful and entertaining, but I freaking hate the double amnesia that makes it longer that it should.

P.S I wonder what happens to Zhou Feihua after that? This girl is an angel.

I finally finished this after a long time. I can't believe the amnesia plot happens TWICE!! ☠ No wonder it has 40 eps! It could've been cut into 32 eps. Everytime the amnesia plot happens, the romance goes backward. Dang.

This is my first drama of Xiang Hanzhi and she did great as both Mu Qingge and Xue Ranran. However she looks way older than her age due to her makeup and styling. Moreover it is remarkable that the 2 actresses who play as Mu Ranwu, the original one looks younger than Xiang Hanzhi, while the new one looks a lot older than Hanzhi 😅

Thankfully there are only 3 villains in this drama. They are all so obsessed and it is dull to watch. If only Su Yu looks around and see someone loves him unconditionally, he would have a happy life.

Meanwhile for dumb Wei Jiu, if I was Tu Jiuyan, I would've slapped him, not bcos I hate him. It's just that this man is so overly confident and narcissistic that he keeps talking and misunderstanding her. I salute Tu Jiuyan for her God tier level of patience 👏👏👏

I forgot. The first time I got to know Wang Youshuo is The Blooms at Ruyi's Pavilion. This man is really pretty!
I applaud him for being such a despicable villain here 👏👏👏 with that pretty face, you would love to kick his face while watching his scenes 😅

Finally finished this. It took me a long time.

First I totally understand why some people hate the FL. Tbh me too. Yes she is goofy, free spirited, lovely girl when she is NOT with Nan Heng. The reason why she is hated by viewers is bcos she is too fixated on the script she didn't read thoroughly and claims she knows everything. She doesn't even bother to get to know Nan Heng, the person in front of her and focuses on the script she knows. She is just like everybody else: believes in rumors and blames Nan Heng for everything. She hates him for 31 eps!! ☠
When the romance starts around ep 32 it feels off. More like she finally realizes he isn't a bad guy and accepts him.

Second, the funniest thing isn't the comedy, but how the sisters couldn't realize Nan Heng and Shangguan He are so much different as Li Shiliu: their height, eyes, voices. Li Shiliu became shorter by 10 cm and the girls didn't notice. It would be more believable if the actors have the same height.

Third, Nan Rui is actually a sweet guy. Yes he is annoying, noisy, clingy, dumb, but he is kindhearted and knows right from wrong. I like his bond with Jixiang 👍🏻

Fourth, my fav characters are Nan Heng, A He, A Long, A Hu, Yinqiu and Zhixia, perhaps also Nan Rui.

Somehow lately the ban became more reasonable. Love and Sword tells about modern girl time traveled into ancient time and it has HE. ADWAD also has HE, with the FL went through multiple trial and error, trying to fight the script.
Si Jin also has reborn theme and made the FL as the saintess who can see the future.

It depends on how the writers use the theme to pass the censorship.

Bcos in ancient times, a woman's reputation is everything and she must, absolutely, always protect her purity. But men... oh men can always engage with women here and there without having to care about the consequences 😒 even if the woman gets pregnant, he can just throw her to slavery or brothel. A man can have 3 wives and 4 concubines, his parents can accommodate his adultery and say "oh it's just one woman, what's the big deal?" 😡

Idk how I ended up watching this. Thought this is just another boring swapped marriage drama, but turned out it is a reborn drama, moreover, two characters! Tragically, both are fighting for survival.

The director really loves to shoot diagonally during the "looking down at your opponent" scene 😅

I have watched until ep 4 and tbh I quite like it. However the story feels too short and abrupt, yet they always use slow motion for the romantic scenes which is time consuming.

Hu Lianxin is too skinny thin in this drama, makes her look way older than her actual age 😭 she looked so pretty as Rongrong and Yue Yao. I hope it wasn't bcos her agency forced her to limit her meal.
