Lol the typo turned Jeremy into a tiramisu 😂

Well insiders who knew about the script said they totally changed Jeremy's character into a bad guy who is obsessed with FL. Which is why fans were angry. Jeremy's character is a loyal husband who loves only his deceased wife.

The scriptwriter wanted to make the FL as the center of attention from all princes. So they all approach her for marriage whether with motives or sincerity.

I finished watching this and like most people said: it is missing something.
It felt anticlimactic.

Cheng Lei did fantastic.

He Yan's character is a mess. Sometimes she is strong, sometimes whiny, sometimes childish.
What's funny is no one pointed at her feminine voice. No man has such sweet voice. Even Mulan (disney) tried to make her voice more masculine.

He Rufei is a total dumb. He can't do anything, accomplish nothing, he is not cruel enough as a villain.

The spoiled bitch is more evil than He Rufei.

That fake and hypocrite Chu Zhao is more of an eyesore than He Rufei.

The last few eps were so unnecessary although it is understandable considering their status, but I really hate the "let's keep it a secret" troupe when everything can be discussed.

I gave it high ratings for the fighting scenes.

When it aired, people kept criticizing how bad it is in the later half and the plot didn't give justice to FL.
They said some characters suffered from the wrong scripts unlike in the novel with its complexity.

I was interested in this drama bcos of Kong Xueer, Deng Kai and Ren Hao and I waited for this drama to end, but the reviews were so bad that I thought about canceling the plan. I'm watching this anyway 🥲 if I get bored midway, I will read the novel.

They totally messed with the 2ML's character and switched his ending with the 3ML (his brother) 😡 fans of the book were angry about this changes.

Also, the novel has 3 major villains, but they erased 1 of them. His arc is the most interesting though.😓

FYI those 852 chapters are mostly ML throwing some cheesy words to seduce the FL or lie to her. I often found the author wrote 3 chapters just for ML flirting 🥱 I ended up skipping a lot.

Excuse me for interrupting, but the user Nicole the Greek is wrong.

1. FL is coldhearted as if her heart is made of stone. She isn't a compassionate nor a kind girl. The only people she cares about is her dad and brother.

2. She doesn't believe in love and long lasting affection. She pursues mutual benefits.

3. She punishes those who harm her or her family.

4. ML is cold-blooded and ruthless, even willing to sacrifice the innocent, but FL doesn't like sacrificing the innocent.

5. She chose ML bcos he is short lived. She wants to be the empress dowager, not an empress.

6. ML pursues FL for about 400+ chapters until she finally falls in love with him.

FL in Blossom is mature, wise, kindhearted, compassion, caring, independent, family oriented girl. Totally different with the FL in Blossoms of Power.

It's not Han dynasty, but northern and southern dynasty. Accurately speaking, the costumes took inspiration from Wei and Jin and expanded it to Northern and Southern dynasty. Han dynasty hanfu are not loose like the ones Meng Ziyi wore here, even the hairstyles are different from Han dynasty.

Do NOT read the novel bcos the drama is totally different. Even now I'm still upset bcos they changed a lot of characters. Fans of the novel were angry about the changes as well. But one thing for sure, this drama really focuses on FL.

Did you watch the wrong drama? Bcos every argument is so wrong. Yinluo and Xiao Duo did NOT cheat on the current emperor.

1. Yinluo never loves the current emperor nor remembers him. When the current emperor excitedly told her about their "past" and her response was "Who the hell are you???"

2. Yinluo blatantly refused to stay with the current emperor and asked to be sent to the mausoleum bcos she wants freedom. She explained all her reasons why. She never gives him false hope and always avoids him.

3. The current emperor found out Yinluo is in love with another man which was the reason she always refused him. He forced her to be his concubine, sexually assaulted her where she strongly resisted. She also refused to see him in her residence.

4. Xiao Duo did NOT have an affair with Rong'an. People assumed they had an affair, but it was one sided infatuation from Rong'an, but Xiao Duo NEVER reciprocate. Xiao Duo hates when people touch him. On ep 1, Rong'an tried to touch him and he immediately dodged. After that he washed his hand. It means Rong'an was never succeeded in touching Xiao Duo, let alone get him onto her bed. Xiao Duo just "helped" her with her schemes while collecting evidence to impeach her.

5. Xiao Duo climbed to power bcos he did his job and gained the late emperor's trust, NOT bcos he seduced Rong'an. Which is why he received the ring from the late emperor.

6. When 2 people are in relationship and committed, but one of them goes sideway and has an affair, that is called cheating. Yinluo and the current emperor are NEVER in any sort of relationship. He forced his feelings onto her, forced her to reciprocate, imprisoned her bcos he knows she doesn't love him.

7. If you think Yinluo's softened attitude as "gives him hope like she is in love with him", then you are wrong. Firstly, she still distanced herself from him, avoiding him from touching her. Secondly, she tried to survive. Thirdly, she tried to protect Xiao Duo. She would act like Yingge if she truly "gives him hope".

8. You talked about cheating? The current emperor had sex with Yingge multiple times while claimed to be in love with Yinluo. How about that?

Of course! It is common in dating shows to have additional members join midway. The purpose is to shake up the current cast or couple.

FYI, ceo of Yaoke (the production house of this drama), Zhang Meng, gave Meng Ziyi TWO scripts in 2024: Blossoms of Power and Have It All. They waited for her to finish her other drama filming until her schedule is available, which is in Q4 of 2026.

I really really really hope the ML is Ao Ruipeng, Ding Yuxi, Quan Yilun or Deng Kai 😁 But we need TWO good looking actors bcos the FL loves both men in different phases of her life.

First: who's ugly? You?

Second: Meng Ziyi has sugar daddy???? You know nothing obviously. Meng Ziyi barely has leading roles in her 10 years of acting. Mostly played supporting or cameo. She barely had any script to choose. She started to received several leading roles offers from 2024 in which she filmed 3 drama in a year.

Third: harassing an actor by claiming you are a fan other actor only embarrass yourself and make you undeniably stupid.

Fourth: talking about sugar daddy, there are few actors who obviously backed by the capital, that's why despite being rookie and have no acting skills, they keep getting leading roles. Thus, their drama flopped.

Fifth: did you randomly type English words you know? Your English is a mess like your sins.

Very short. Less than 70 chapters.
FL is extremely smart. You will be surprised with her brain.
WARNING: there is love triangle and amnesia plot!!
The plot twists are good, but the author doesn't separate backflash with present time, so sometimes it is confusing.

Catfish means additional members who join in the middle of the filming. It has nothing to do with feelings. This term and method was first used in Heart Signal.

Just a few advice if you are pointing at the "harem" or "multiple wives" or "concubine" stuff.

The FL is indeed become the concubine. The ML is 30 (in the novel he is 26). How is he supposed to be single? A prime minister on top of that. The highest position in the cabinet.

This drama is NOT the only drama where the FL becomes a concubine:
1. Flourished Peony: Mudan is a concubine and it was a mutual decision. He also took in another concubine.
2. Love in Pavilion: Huaizhu becomes a concubine to prevent her from getting harm.
3. Lost You Forever: Cang Xuan has a few concubines and A Nian still married him.
4. The Legend of Two Sisters in the Chaos: the FL is the empress and the emperor has another concubine.
5. Story of Yanxi Palace: Wei Yingluo is a concubine among all others.

Well, the marriage between Song Han and Miao Ansu played a big part in the novel as well.

1. Kong Xueer is the 2FL. So of course she gets a lot of screentime. Plus she is Dou Zhao’s best friend, while Song Han is Song Mo's brother.

2. In the novel, Miao Ansu asks Dou Zhak and cooperates with her to help her divorce Song Han.

3. Song Han is one of the major villains who works with the final, so he is heavily involved in the later half of the story.

4. Chen Jia and the cousin (in the drama) are just sub sub sub sub characters that are insignificant to the plot. But in the novel, Chen Jia and Song Mo's sister played a huge part to the plot, and Chen Jia became Song Mo's one of the most trusted subordinates and brother in law.

5. Fact is, in the drama Wu Shan has too much screentime. In the novel he barely exists.

On the contrary with your opinions, the director was pleased with Meng Ziyi. He kept praising her acting and that she need not much direction. But he had to spent a lot of efforts to direct and teach Li Yunrui, to make him more intimidating and ruthless as a general.

Cnetz (passersby) also praised Meng Ziyi's acting. This doesn't come from her fans, but cnetz. Even when TPG failed, cnetz didn't blast her acting. Instead they felt pity for her for getting a trashy script that even her and Liu Xueyi's acting couldn't save the drama.

Meng Ziyi doesn't act with big expressions, but focuses on showing emotions through her eyes.

Different actress has different style of acting. Some uses big expressions to show emotions, while some uses their eyes. You see, the actress on Boyfriend on Demand received a lot of hates for having big expressions.

In summary, I think you are not suitable with her acting, but prefer actress with big expressions. Different people have different taste.

Bcos she isn't God. She can't change everything. What is meant to be will happen. Even the wandering sage told her so.

Li Yunrui had to lose weight to play Song Mo. The reason is, Song Mo works near the emperor. His master told him, working near the emperor must not have too much aura or looking to bulky. He also learned inner fighting skills to prevent his hands to have thick calluses. That's why he has lean body proportions, but enough muscles. The novel describes the reasons in details.

I wanted to like this season, but I can't.
The cast are likeable, the friendship (outside) is lovely, but the staff ruined it all.

1. Evil edit.
In EVERY dating and survival show, there MUST be evil edit for dramatic and rating purposes. The cast get hate for no reason.

2. Unfair screentime.
The PD promised for fair screentime, but what? It is the same cast getting screentime, while Yejin and Haeun barely got a minute in one episode.

3. Awful editing.
The PD just edited what she wanted to show us: nonsense.
There is no story or romance. Only drama, drama, drama.
Viewers didn't get to see the behind story of Heesun and Subeen, Haeun pursuing Jaejin, Goeun rejected Hyunwoo, Sungmin's being the big brother to the girls, Yejin being the comfort zone for Minji.

4. No friendship shown.
The friendship is really strong, but the PD showed none of it! It is always the same drama and the same PD pick.

5. Haters and delulu fans.
Some viewers turned into haters and delusional people who pushed their hatred and anger to some cast. Accusations, malicious comments, even making their own fanfics to deny the results.

I couldn't enjoy and like this season.
Both Transit Love and Single's Inferno are ruined by the PDs.
