For those who want Winwin to be the ML, the ML is supposed to be older and the FL calls him gege. Winwin has such a baby face. Imagine Meng Ziyi calls him gege. It's like Li Yunrui calling Huangyang Tiantian jiejie, or Neo Hou calling Aimi jiejie 😓
He supposedly died, right?... And then he comes back... but the producers don't explain why he didn't show it,…
She knew bcos the fake death must be done to help him also to secure their son's status. He was dying bcos the 8th prince worsened his poison. She never told their son that his father has died. For a better understanding, try to read the last 6 chapters of the novel.
The girl played as Rena aka Shibuya Nagisa literally outshines everyone! She looks like an angel and she is perfect for the role. Her smile is beautiful though, but here her smile doesn't reach her eyes...
I have heard about Sasaki Nozomi since decades ago, but never actually watched her drama. Perhaps bcos she never worked with my bias? Anyway, her character started as a decisive and strong woman, but later she becomes meek and lost.
Makoto is your average high school crush who wants to be a hero, but too weak.
I watched the first episode and it was CRAAAAAAAZZZZYYYYY 😱😱😱😱😱 I did not expect that level of psychotic level. No, it is not sadistic level, but the dualism of this psychopath has.
The plot itself is good. Nagisa as Rena is perfect. However, the FL is getting dumber and weaker as the episode goes by. There is a target of operation, her weakness, AND strong proofs of her crimes. Yet she doesn't use anything! Rena literally outsmarted her every single time.
What baffled me was this proofs should have been stored in multiple storages, yet they freaked out when ONE storage is missing 😪
He supposedly died, right?... And then he comes back... but the producers don't explain why he didn't show it,…
They planned about this fake death, but they don't know how long it will take. In the novel it took 8 years. That's why her reaction was calm bcos she was waiting for his return. Watch the special episode, Huayong tells a story to his son.
For BOP: the order of cast list is a mess. Jeremy Xu is supposed to be the third, after Meng Ziyi and He Yu, then Fan Shuaiqi, Lai Weiming. Yet somehow the cast of the servants all came after He Yu's 😓
For TSTR: the character name is Wei Shu, not Feng Shu. Quan Yilun comes after Wu Hankun.
I can't submit the correct cast, but I have posted the whole TSTR cast list in the comment.
This drama is really good. I've watched some of similar drama. My fave are GTO and Gokusen.
The plot twist is good. I also didn't expect that incident to happen. Like isn't this supposed to be a youth drama?? Why did it have to happen? But then I realized it really happen in real life. Bullying is really harmful.
However the last episode made me go 😪 Are you serious? Of all the plot and reason, the scriptwriter went with that??? Then the stab. It wasn't strong enough of a reason.
For me the ending of Hiiragi's Classroom is much better. But I guess that's why there is after story showing 3 years after their graduation.
Xihe is already the empress dowager, her son is the new emperor. Huayong is already dead, so how can he suddenly…
That's the problem with the scriptwriter and the editing. Sometimes they delete here and there and we have some choppy result. Better read the last 5-6 chapters of the novel 🤔
I recommend you these cdrama: -Nirvana in Fire (masterpiece!!) -A Journey to Love -Blossom -The Glory -The Double -Flourished Peony & In The Name of Blossom -Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Saber (2019) -Pursuit of Jade -Mysterious Lotus Casebook -The Shadow Sovereign -Luminosity Behind the Palace -Love Like the Galaxy -The Prisoner of Beauty -The Long Ballad -Novoland Pearl Eclipse -The Coroner's Diary (mystery) -The First Jasmine -Unveil Jadewind (mystery) -Kill My Sins

on ep 4 and FL is yet to make a different facial expression
She is a coldhearted woman. Even as Gu Qingzhi, her heart and soul was already dead bcos she knew her family would be exterminated. Her ex husband, 5th prince tried hard to melt her heart for years, but she was no different from a corpse. As the new Shen Xihe, her soul is still Gu Qingzhi. She doesn't believe in love and long lasting affection. So it takes time for her to become a normal woman.
There is one thing in the ending, that I wish they had shown or clarified. I would appreciate some help undertanding…
Xihe is already the empress dowager, her son is the new emperor. Huayong is already dead, so how can he suddenly appear and reclaim his position? He never wanted to be the emperor. Now he becomes Xihe's male concubine.
Huayong managed to get the emperor promised him that his son will be the crown prince (the boy was just born). The emperor gave him name and made him the crown prince.
Changqing (5th prince) is an ally, so when the ministers were debating, he suggested to open the coffin to make them see the corpse is indeed Huayong.
In fact, the corpse is actually their uncle who tried to kill the emperor. This uncle was in cahoots with Huayong to kill the emperor, but he failed and died after entrusting it to Huayong. Huayong asked Xihe's medic to change this uncle's face to look like him (plastic surgery!), while he already on his way to search for his cure.
After the rebellion, Xihe became the Empress Dowager. Changqing asked to be her son's teacher. So her son has Changqing, Cui Jinbai and Xie Yunhuai (the doctor) as his teachers. Cui Jinbai's twin sons are childhood friends with the new emperor.
Another reborn troupe. Does she only receives these kin of scripts?
Besides Blossom, Empress Reborn is her second rebirth plot drama. Blossoms of Power is NOT a rebirth drama, but a soul transmigration drama with no revenge plot at all.
Hmmmm I will give it a try, I think. Just hope she isn't again the same smart, cunning all-knowing girl who is…
This one is indeed similar with BOP, including the family background of the FL. However in BOP the FL doesn't seek revenge, she is ambitious and coldhearted. Here in Empress Reborn, she is a vengeful spirit who will make everyone who harmed her and her family to suffer/die. There will be at least 1 year gap from each drama broadcast, so I think it'll be fine.
News
Personally I want:
Ao Ruipeng, Quan Yilun, Yan An, Wang Xingyue, Cheng Lei.
I think yaoke will choose actors who are less popular than Meng Ziyi for both ML and SML.
He was dying bcos the 8th prince worsened his poison.
She never told their son that his father has died.

You can send me dm if you are curious which one has happy or bad ending, or which one is heavy or good as a start.

Handsome, kind, attentive, warm, supportive and a good cook!
Her friends are also amazing. It's nice for Rina to have such strong support system that will not question her actions.
The plot twist is good.
