Fan Xiao is aiming to break You Shoulang down in the cruelty ways possible so that he has no choice but to be with him. Hua Yong was cruel to his own self in order to make Shaoyou find him more endearing, and once his lies were found out, he made it a duty not to hide who he was unlike yours truly that doubled down on his cruelty.
