I finally was able to complete The Untamed and I'm so obsessed that I even start self-studying Chinese. Although I had to endure the first 16 episodes, and then it got so tragic and sad and infuriating and unforgettable. ♡

I've just finished the animated version on Netflix. I couldn't help but saw Xiao Zhan as Hua Cheng in that red robe and red under-eye-shadow. Not sure if XZ fits in the book, though, because I haven't read it. Zhan Zhan's face just kept popping in my mind while watching.
At episode 29 and the repetitive scheming is getting old. Could have made it more engaging if they had thrown in various kinds of challenges to Wei Young and not just always revolved around misunderstanding/scheming.
