I am giving it an 8 out of 10. I was gonna give it a ten, until the last ep, where i was gonna give it a 9.then…
I agree with everything you wrote. I really liked and disliked how the show left off. The writer wants us to "choose" how we want this to end, but ends up leaving many things on the air.
I will agree with and say that DC did kill SB in the previous timeline, under the impression that his mother killed her (yes this is debateable but it makes at least some kind of sense). Now he indeed redeems himself by saving her. However, this ending makes everything that happened with the president and the multiple killers ect feels kind of not worth it. It all came down to him saving her in the end which is a choice from where i stand. Then again, giving this a 2nd thought, all this might have been "God's way to right all the wrongs" done by the president's son as they were brought to justice. But why did he save her? Because she waved and he understood that she is alive. Couldn't he check her heartbeat or if she is breathing or something? :/ It just feels stupid. She waved, he saved her. Why didn't she move in the previous timeline? This is just a stupid minor thing to base the whole story on.
As far as him dying goes. The writter obviously wants us to choose an ending. He either died, and they went to pay respect to his grave or he survived thus the 3 people waiting for his brother to come out of prison. I'll take the 2nd one by choice even if the first one seems more likely but makes less sense.
So the description does nothing to make this attractive, but the image does tons!
Can someone give me a brief summary of the first couple of episodes maybe? What is this actually about. The image gives a very gritty, dark feel and i like it.
I liked the first episode. I think it was a great built-up to a beautiful friendship between the three main leads.…
Amazing mini-review first impression Belle, i LOVED the first episode as well.
About Yoo Seul's mother, i believe she actually sees her daughter as an extention of herself. I mean, she was a brilliant pianist but she could never make it big for various reasons, now she tries to make her daughter succeed and pushes her to her limits, partly because she knows she can do it, but mostly because she wants to feel that she, herself, finally did it. It is a means to an end to finally achieve her own dream. The notion that: "my daughter = me, if my daughter becomes the top pianist it is like i am the top pianist". It is exactly the same with me and my mother. Glad Yoo Seul stood up to her, i never had the courage to! Inspirational really!!
Cha Sik's mother is a dream mother, her speech about him being able to to anything he wants really touched me! I am also curious about Jin Mok's father and their relationship, it is obviously unhealthy as he didn't even bat an eye when his piano teacher said he is a psycho, and he didn't even come to see his son in his big piano exam day! Tells tons as to why Jin Mok is so dead set on becoming #1, apparently he sees it as a way to catch his father attention. I can relate so much it is scary lol.
AMAZING! A story about coming of age, overcoming obstacles, chasing dreams, or giving them up, facing personal demons, growing up and learning how to accept and love yourself.
Way, waaay better than i expected! The acting is brilliant by the whole cast. Everyone can relate to the characters somehow (i know i did!)
At the end of ep 8 when she started singing SNSD's I Got A Boy, i laughed so hard i fell off the chair!
"Don't Stop... Blah Blah Blah Blah" - Ahn Mi Jung 2016
Hwang Jung Eum noona, it seems you will not grand my wish to see you in a melodrama again, will you? :P
I guess i will have to settle for your rom coms, this one sounds great at least. Looking forward to seeing you again! :3 Fighting!
I am looooooooving this one! Great story, predictable or not its greatly written! Amazing actors and cast. Lee…
I know right? I've been reading hateful comments on her and her acting everywhere. Not on this site necessarily but everywhere else... People are so set on hating like their life depends on it...
I am looooooooving this one! Great story, predictable or not its greatly written! Amazing actors and cast. Lee Seo Jin is a total dilf and i really like his character even before the transformation! Uee's acting is on another level, i am tired of people nagging about her being an idol and sucking at acting. She is great people need to grow up. Their chemistry is off the charts and the age gap offers a different more mature and serious vibe to the romance. The kid actor is exquisite and totally delivers in a difficult role for a child! The drama is soft melo, not overly sentimental but emotional enough to touch you. The music is original and luscious! Great drama, deserves better than 7.9 glad the rating is going up slowly!
No, she wasn't. Ji Hoon did have feelings for her, but never acted on them. He basically waited until Yung Soo did something wrong, so he could step in and take her back. Now that he died, he wants her again. She wasn't aware that Ji Hoon still had feelings for her, she considered him a close friend. Ji Hoon decided to be friendzoned than to not have her in his life.
Also, your comment is kind of a spoiler so please put it under the spoiler section.
I dont feel like watching this one. But I'm really curious can someone provide me the summary hahahah... I would…
Sure, i'll try not to spoil anything much. I saw you gave Temptation a 7.5, judging from that i think you'll probably like this one as they are quite similar.
In the first two episodes Hee Tae and Il Ri (the protagonists) meet and fall in love. Kinda silly and funny (also cringy for some) opening to the whole story. These episodes take place 14 years in the past (around 2000 i guess). In episode 3 we travel to 2014 and we meet the protagonists again and we see their daily lives. Il Ri meets Kim Joon through her job, a completely different person from her husband. Ultimately they fall in love, they don't engage a real affair but they do have feelings for each other. At the same time, someone anonymously contants her husband and tells him, his wife is seeing another man. Ultimately, Hee Tae confronts his wife and she tells the truth about her feelings for a different man. And then we get to see how everything goes down. What each person does in a weird situation like this.
This is a relationship/character based drama. No back story here, so you need to understand what you are getting into. The main premise isn't the affair as a concept, but the reasons for the affair to happen, and especially how the 3 people entangled in the affair cope with it, and how the families deal with everything. Emphasis on the families part as they are of great importance here.
I personally loved this one, but you need to come in with an open mind as not everything is black and white, example: She cheated on her husband, she is a slut, end of discussion. If that is your mindset, that is understandable but you won't like this, and it might be better to skip it.
