I usually like complicated things but ugh, this one is losing me, and i don't know if it is my fault or the show's. And this is really sad because i am LOVING the disney-like feel this one has :(. The first 4 episodes were magical.
Firstly, why Yeon Hee's hair were white again when she saved Joon from the cliff? Her hair was black right in the previous scene. Only logical explanation i can think of, she broke off the cloak-like spell she had going on inside that... place she was in when she got out and so the curse got re-activated(?) (was it ever de-activated though?)
And how did she end up there? Did they explain that and i missed it?
And how Joon was tangled with and respected as one of the higher ranked in society? I mean from those women? He was the son of a maid/slave. Did he fake it? How did he do that? o.O I missed something here as well.
Generally, the 5-year jump left me completely confused....
Moreover, that guy with the *ahem*-like sword, didn't he die a few episodes ago? He came back to life, with a patch ok we saw that, who revived him?
Also Hyun Seo, didn't he die in the forest? How was he alive in episode 6 in the room with the ex-king? The shamaness killed the king before everything in the forest happened? Are we on several timelines? They need to explain shit like that i watch 473942946293 series i can't remember everything :O
Also i had to search online who thenew king actually is so the show can make sense... They just showed a new king with a thorn-like infection without explaining anything. He is the nephew of the previous king or something like that. They apparently do that to keep us interested and guessing and mystery and blah blah but this is getting annoying fast!
I'll continue saying, the curse itself.
-on their 17th birthday the twins will die
-shamaness transfers the full curse on tothe girl so we kill the girl the curse dies with her
-Hyun Seo saves the girl, the girl lives, shouldn't the shamaness have died instantly? But no because the girl is still cursed, the shamaness will die only if she breaks the curse? Considering she is getting worse and worse for each candle light i guess this is it.
-Also on their 17th bday why only the male sibling died? Apparently because the shamaness altered the curse by transfering the whole thing on to the girl. When she survived the boy died in her place on the original day of their death. Ok that makes... some sense... I can... accept that...
Ehm, i'll have to agree with everyone and say wtf with that ending? If someone could explain it to me (if an explanation is available and it wasn't just for the lolz), it would be much appreciated.
I loved the movie until the last 20 minutes, the ending made no sense and it ruined the overall feeling for me. I hope i missed something :(
Great chemistry between the leads, and a very fast paced bitter-sweet realistic love story here.
Amazing and beautiful review. I agree on everything, especially on the characters part. About Hye Soo's way to dress at first it bothered me, but you are right. As it is said already the show is about little things. This way Uee dressed, made her a lot more relatable and the love story more deep and down to earth, you're right. Thank you for writting this review!
This is so entertaining, and delightful to watch. So fun and enjoyable. I love how this is basically a parody of kdramas, but not in an offensive way. It is cute!
The magnetic pull thing made me laugh out loud, smart stuff, i love the cast.
What a review. Normally I wouldn't read one this long, but it's a drama I liked, so....^^ I'm reading all the…
It is indeed lengthier than what i had initially planned, but i needed to do this drama justice because it was an exceptional one! Thank you for reading it :)
Continuing my mini-emotional-stroke-like-speech , what i am actually glad about and makes me not lose hope in the MDL community, is that i witnessed the overall rating of this climb from 7.6 to 8.4 right now and i seriously hope it only rises from here because it definitely deserves it.
This drama deserves to be called a classic. It had a very mature and vintage feeling to it. I am happy they didn't go all Stairway-to-heaven on my ass with the finale.
What makes this drama a must watch is the off-the-charts chemistry between Lee Seo Jin and Uee. I am totally ready for their dating scandal rumors to break out. I mean, they could scarcely conceal their affection in front of the camera!
Hope they act together again in the future. I will definately miss this one! :')
Episode 14 was so soul-healing and heart-warming and beautiful and sad and depressing and i have no words. This is the first kdrama i have watched (and i doubt it will ever happen again) that the leads literally feel like a true family, this isn't chemistry, this is completely something else! I've no words.
However, ep 14's ending gave me an ominous feeling about what's to come. I have a horrible feeling, i don't want this drama to break me. Please kdrama gods work your magic, these 3 people deserve to be happy please :'(
Apparently everyone is loving it, and since we live in free countries i feel the need to express my feelings about…
I said the top2 though :P
But yes, i'm happy you're getting it because adultery kdramas are SO hated in this site. It makes me nauseous how narrow-minded people are just watching everything superficially. If you like shallow rom-coms be my guest i'll never judge someone for their preferences, but hating a drama because it doesn't not reflect your perfect dream world is wrong on so many levels!!
Ok, now that my mini rant is over, i am dying to watch dramaworld, but viki is being a bitch asking us to pay their prenium pass shit to watch it. Is there anywhere else i can watch it?

Am i the only one feeling like this? >:(
