Let's all take a moment and appreciate how SMOKING HOT Kim Hee Ae is... She looks better than 70% of 20 year olds.…
Aw, thank you for the compliment :D. Have you watched valid love yet? I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it once you get to watch it! :D
I'll try to watch that episode of running man, i have never watched that variety before, but have heard of it a lot.
Heh, well i'm mostly watching it for the leads since i'm a huge fan of Ji Jin Hee and i like Kim Hee Ae too (isn't it obvious? xD). As of now it is your average rom com but with older people. First 2 episodes were mostly comedic with lots and lots of silly coinsidences. It is enjoyable but nothing extraordinary, at least for now.
Okay I have to say I love this drama, I love how the production team wasn't afraid to talk about topics which…
I still believe we feel that some girls get less air time because we are more interested in their story, but it is not the case.
EunJae doesn't have that much life outside of school and in the house. So what exactly can they show more? This is not a rom com with her as the lead, it is only natural that her love triangle will not get a lot of air time, there's no need to. I think she gets enough air time as it is. We saw her at school, in class, at that trip with the guys, her interaction with the guy who thinks is bullying her are brief but essential for the story to proceed. If they spend more time in her story it would damage the flow of the drama imo.
On the contrary, one can argue that any of the girls get less air time. What about Ye Eun? What have we seen about her? Only her interacting with her boyfriend and bitching about the other girls when they are absent at home. But that is her story, and that is what is essential for her story to proceed.
Maybe some stories need more air time because they are more complicated like Jin Myung. She has a very sad back story that involves family problems that affect and drive her life as it is. Certainly more important than Eun Jae whose problems are natural as she is coming of age.
Also Ji Won, she has yet to have her main episode and what have we seen about her? Drooling over Ye Eun and her relationship, she went on 1 date that failed and she helped EunJae open up a bit (scenes that i count towards EunJae since they continued her story and not Ji Won's).
It all depends on the way you see it. It is natural that you'd want to see more of Eun Jae as she is your favourite, but less screen time is to be expected in dramas that feature 5 leads and are only 12 episodes. Moreover, i doubt they will add more episodes, the drama's viewership is less than 1%, pretty low even by cable standards.
The writer wanted 12 episodes, i'm pretty sure everything will end normally and won't be rushed. 2 centric episodes will be enough for each girl to resolve her problems i think.

I understand what you're saying but i believe you are biased because she is your favourite. My favourite is YiNa and i felt like she was ignored in ep4 especially after her main episode in 3. This was not the case however. She just got as much screen time as the rest of them.
About the stories being rushed, considering this is only 12 episodes i worry about it in general. I believe Eun Jae's problems are the easiest to solve so i do believe she'll get her happy ending (considering her "killing" someone isn't as serious as she makes it out to be). Also we can't see her grow from a scared girl to a powerful woman in 2 episodes. These things take time. I am sure she'll get as much time in the spotlight as everyone else.

Each episode has a centric character. Ep 1 was Eun Jae ep2 was Ye Eun, ep3 was YiNa and ep4 was Jin Myung. In ep1 Eunjae had the complete focus, everyone else was on the side lines. It is only normal that she will be on the sidelines on other characters' central episodes.
The focus will shift to her again once she gets another central episode. She was the first girl to be introduced but she isn't the main lead. All 5 all the main lead and deserve the same amount of focus and the show is giving them fair screen time in my opinion.
The drama focuses on personal struggles of young adults (college, romantic relationships, potentially parent issues, job-hunting/money problems, personal issues and how to adress them, understanding ourselves and becoming stronger and we've yet to see a lot more) and how these problems can be worked out through friendship. Friendship seems to be the main focus here, not romance and i loved that.
The 5 main actresses are great with unique chemistry, each of them has a story of their own, personal issue(s) that are buried inside and we will get to see the characters work them out helping each other.
Looking forward to the following episodes. A breath of fresh air!
Thank you for writing this, and understanding what the drama wanted to express! I'm happy there are people who can appreciate it for what it is and what it can give and not judge it based on what is wrong and right as life isn't black and white!
On ep 5...did i miss something i thought Hyun woo was Dong wook PD's son??? o_O
Oh, and i thought i was the only one who made the assumption that the boy is the PD's son lol.
I wouldn't be surprised if in the very end it is proved that he actually is, considering he really doesn't seem interested in finding him. It would be a huge slap in the face if he really is his son.
Read that Ji Jin Hee got injured on set and they are delaying the debut of the drama a week while waiting for his nose surgery to be done and for him to recover.
I dont feel like watching this one. But I'm really curious can someone provide me the summary hahahah... I would…
I loved temptation too. I found the two to be quite similar. Valid Love is a bit more melodramatic and deeper i think. I believe if you like the former you'll probably like the latter.
I like this drama I really do, but I have to confess...that I expected somehow more..more excitement...more action…
This explains exactly how i feel about this drama. I wholeheartedly enjoy it, but i think the 4 episodes extension killed it. Now it is just an endless circle around the same topics and plotlines, nothing new, exactly as you said.
I still want to know how it will end, but i remember how excited i was to watch for the first 5-6 episodes and after that it slowly declined.
When i think of it, a shitload of things have happened thus far, but somehow everything (except the first episodes) lacked excitement... :/ 16 episodes would have been enough.

Stay healthy king Ji Jin Hee! *-*
This drama has a lot of flaws but the age difference is definitely not one of them.
