Do you like Samurai movies? If you do then you should watch Miike's 13 Assassins and Harakiri: Death of a Samurai.
When you get around watching it tell me if it's more of a thriller than an horror. I am quite okay with the first but I dislike the second. Oh, you usually watch on streaming? I always download and when they're movies, I usually buy them unless they're not available.
Btw, I watched memories of murder two days ago. You're right, it was a great crime thriller.

You mean historical Kdramas that are based on true events? My guess that you never saw a historical Japanese drama before?
Oh, btw I finished watching Miike's remake of Harakiri, it was more dramatic than the original with some additions but it does worth the try; I appreciated the acting and cinematography.

I am the same as you, I am watching Secrets but I don't love it the way everyone does. I just find it okay, once I finish it I am going to start Reply 1994 and that's about it. Have you seen Reply 1997?
I agree about Nail Shop Paris, it was so horrible. I gave it 3 and I forced myself to finish it because I don't drop dramas.

I also plan to watch Orange Days at some point but not now. I am not in a mood for light dramas even if I love the cast. What do you think of it?
I just noticed that you finished 350+ dramas, that's one of the highest numbers I saw here (:

Which means no drama or movies for you at home? It's bad :p
Oh, you recently finished Tiger and Dragon? What did you think of it? Was it really funny? I got that drama on my radar because of the main leads especially Nagase.

I have 5% doubt that he may not be her father or the writers will make it sound like that in the movie. If not, they better explain that he didn't know about her being his daughter.

Oh, don't remind me of that! I am so frustrated that we didn't get to watch the third season this year *sigh*
I will caught up in no time, you just have to wait for me Dreamy! Oh, you haven't seen Nagase in anything before? I also like Watabe in here.
Are you for real? It's like the first time where you complain that you're not watching many dramas LOL What gotten into you?!

Is that so? Then if you want to get started then start with "My Bratty Princess". You saw some Wuxia movies, right?
My guess that Bean Chaff of My Life a Kdrama? As long as it keeps you interested then I believe it did the trick (:

Nicholas Tse is a great charismatic actor although he's younger in age; I like his on-screen presence and obvious developments, he won the best actor's award last year I believe. Also, he's an awesome eyecandy :D
I don't really like older-young relationship especially if it's older female-younger male; I despise those the most but I can be relatively forgiven with the contrary.
Kurokouchi is my new drug LOL Although, I really love Legal High 2; Kurokouchi managed to get my full intention as well. Nagase is awesome as usual but I got to express my growing love for Watabe; I really like that actor and his character is even more mesmerising.

Sounds interesting altough, I am drifting away from other genres when it comes to Japanese classics; I prefer Samurai and Yakuza/noir themed ones.
Oh, you watch Kdramas as well?

You started to grow a lot of interest in HKC dramas/movies/actors; I think it's refreshing to check other possibilities. I am always here for recommendations if you need them? Shaolin was one of Andy's better recent works even if I didn't actually appreciate the concept. Also, there's Nicolas Tse in there! I don't know if you're familiar with the actor though.
Shao Qian's wife is really annoying but I understand why she does what she did, as for the second male lead, he's also very irritating at some point. I also loved the change of relationship between the main leads although I can't say it's new to me since I saw many types of relationships similar to those in Thai lakorns. However, the depth in Lau Hawick's acting owned it all. I happen to like dark romance more than light, fluffy or melodramatic one. Romance that starts with darkness, hate and revenge is weirdly my favorite LOL

I saw Memories of Murder and I really liked it. You thought the ending was great? Because the case was left unsolved?
I recommend I Saw The Devil, It's really great. Another genius work where Choi Min Shik is the main lead, I don't know if you like LBH though.
So what's on your radar these days? I believe you're a little busy to watch dramas.

Yes, Chinese do better Wuxia dramas than Hong Kong. Are you watching something out of that country lately?
The result isn't out yet, it will be out soon. I will let you know about it (:

I am also skipping a lot of scenes while watching it; all that melodrama doesn't suit my taste but I am still hanging in there LOL Have you dropped it?
I see that Harakiri is one of your favorite films, it's also one of my favorite classics. Have you seen the remake?

Holy Pearl or Da Ren Wu are on my priority list when it comes to Wuxia dramas but I don't know which version of Legend of the Condor Heroes should I start with; there are too many of them but I guess the famous ones are from 2005, 2003 and 2008 but there's also another one of 1995. Maybe I should go with yearly order? :D
Yes! It's really an amazing drama. It's officially my top drama at the moment. I love it so much, too many mysteries and dark suspense in this!
Yes, once I decide to watch it. I will let you know so that we would start it together.

Yes, Miike has horror/delinquent/Samurai and even some comedy inserted in his collection. He's really a brilliant director that I plan to watch all of his movies at some point.
I also enjoy extreme dark movies but not horror. I heart thriller/myster/suspense productions.
I know the feeling, at some point I drifted away from movies but now; I slowly came back and I am sure that the number of movies I saw will eventually get higher than the number of dramas.
