I always loved Samurai films but it hasn't been a long time since I got started with Chanbara and Jidageki, I have a long way to go but I won't give up, it's nice to see a fellow lover of those films (:

Okay then, let me know how it goes afterwards.

I am also not in the mood for Korean dramas anymore, except the revenge themed ones of course. I saw Sweet 18 way before I became addicted, it was when I was younger. They showed it on TV. It's a little silly and the female lead can be annoying but it was enjoyable overall. It was later that I found out the main actors names :D

Apparently you didn't like the food drama a lot?

In your dreams lady, you will never be able to do that :p

I will start it once Secret Love ends so that means next week. You know that I keep my promises Mickey! You're watching Heirs, ne? Good luck with that. *runs away*

It seems interesting but lately, each time I want to watch a Thai lakorn I end up choosing a revenge one. I think it became a habit of mine that I can't even look to other genres. I think only two or three lakorns I watched weren't revenge oriented.

You started watching Sweet 18?

Yes sure, I am glad to help. So first you need me to list the dramas per era? Is that so?

I saw two episodes by far and you're right, this seems like a Wuxia drama I would enjoy so keep the recommendations coming Dior; you know my taste.

I will keep you posted once I start it; I am waiting for the third episode to come out so that I can start that drama.

No, I haven't but before Keizoku SPEC, I need to watch the first season; I can't watch something without its prequel. I will also give BOSS a go at some point.

Ah bon?

I gave up on Taiwanese drama, just waiting for "Just You" to finish airing already. I will only watch their serious dramas. As for Korean dramas, I gave up on their romance oriented dramas as well as their romantic comedies. Actually, I gave up on romantic comedies from any country.

My top drama at the moment would be Legal High 2, have you seen the first season? I am also watching The Vigilantes in Masks, it's a Chinese Wuxia drama I don't know if you ever watch HKC dramas. I recently finished My Boss My Hero and I liked it.

What's Suzuki Sensei is about? A school drama?

It's not that I don't watch two or more dramas at the time because I am currently watching four at the same time. The problem is, I can't watch two Korean dramas at the same time. Once I get rid of the Korean drama I watch next week, I will be able to start Reply 1994.

I saw Reply 1997 and that's the main reason I will watch the second season because I never miss sequels. I liked it, it was quite unique compared to other Korean dramas but I don't think of it as the best. I liked the humor and the Pusan accent.

I noticed that you're only watching currently airing Korean dramas. You don't watch the currently airing Japanese dramas?

Thanks! (: The reason I chose not to watch those dramas is because I know I wouldn't like them since they don't suit my taste.

I know exactly what you mean, I am so glad that I opened my horizons and decided to discover this world; it's so fascinating, different and full with pleasant surprises and great classics that I can't get enough with. I watch two of them each week :D

I hope Mike will have a Samurai movie with Satoshi; something like 13 Assasins; it would be epic. First it's Yamada then Satoshi!

I have a bunch of Song Kang Ho and Choi Min Sik's movies to watch but on the other hand, I need to keep up with Japanese classics and Samurai movies as well as HKC Martial Arts and Wuxia movies; it's a real dilemma to choose.

It's a given that one would be less strict with movies choices since they're shorter and easier to watch. Whenever I am a bit tired of dramas, I turn to movies, I just have to pick the right one for my mood and I will be satisfied.

You're starting an horror drama? I just started watching a Wuxia drama; I thought it would a nice change from Japanese dramas and since I am in no mood for Korean dramas, watching something Chinese is always good.

Yes, Hanzawa Naoki is also one of my favorite characters; that guy was so cool but I knew Sakai before watching that drama. My start was with JOKER.

I know right? The story can't end there no matter how hard I think about it, we need another season and OCN better give us what we want soon!
You started Kurokouchi? Bad Dreamy bad! How can you start it before me when I was the one who recommended it?

No, I don't think so; they have their own elements that I haven't seen in another country before. That's the main reason I watch them: because they're different.

You haven't seen Leon Lai in anything before? He's one of my favorite actors; I watch movies because of that guy. At the matter of fact, I watched White Vengeance for his sake.
Oh, and I also loved the historical part in the movie, it was very intriguing.

Tomorrow, I will start The Vigilantes in Masks, I promised you that I will get down to it after My Boss My Hero and I keep my promises (:

You will have to wait until it finishes airing, right? You have a long way to go. I will start it very soon, I can't hold myself any longer.

I heard about that one. Truth is, I have many detective dramas to watch and my top priority at the moment are Galileo and Keizoku but I am seriously considering that one. Keep me posted.

Yes, they are way too serious. Do you want me to talk about them in more details?

You read what I said, right? I want more reaction from her side even if the little confession she made to Ji Hee was really good but I want more than that. You know me, I have to get my appropriate dose :p

Don't worry about it, the other day I was talking with a friend who didn't like Crows Zero as well, everyone has his own taste (:

Ah, so you watch Korean dramas as well? I will start Reply 1994 but I have to finish a currently airing Korean drama first. I can't watch two Korean dramas at the same time; I am having troubles with them lately.

Have you seen the first season? If you have then which one is better?

We're the same then, everytime I try to watch something not Japanese, I end up bored with it and quickly go back to watch anything Japanese whether it's a drama, movie or an anime. The language and the style became a drug for me :D

I understand your points about M W, it was very crazy at some points but I really appreciated the acting in it. However, there's a possibility that I may reduce its rating at some point.

Oh, I finished Yoiji trilogy; the last part was my least favorite one even with Kimmy as the male lead.

It's a given that Martial Arts lovers would get involved in Wuxia. I just don't get it if they don't LOL

Memories of Murder is on my top priorities list but before that I need to watch "New World", it has a nice set of actors and I heard a lot about it. You see, I watch two HKC movies then two Japanese movies and then one Korean movie. That's how the cicle goes for me because HKC and J-movies are always my top priorities. I will try the other movie with LBH too.

I saw that drama around about two days ago and it got me interested; the problem is with subtitles; there's a high chance that they won't be subbing this. It's frustrating that many good HKC dramas aren't getting the full intention.

You finished Kimmy's drama's, ne? What do you think about starting next?
