Interesting. I am slowly getting into Yagira so I will have to wait for this one. It has an intriguing permise.

Although the permise doesn't interest me but this is definitely something to look forward to. Ikematsu and Miyazawa seem like a nice paring.

Bong Joon Ho strikes again! Even if this isn't to everyone's liking.

The film was attractive in its own manner, it had some interesting things to portray, it's a somewhat bold film if I may say. I pretty much liked the idea and the execution not to mention the great acting by both Song Kang Ho ahjussi and Chris Evans.

I was delaying this for ages because I didn't want to see Yamapi's crappy acting again.

This was actually way better than I expected, I liked the story and I already love boxing so it was a good treat. Only not that special or different.

I loved Yusuke here! His and Yamapi's physical commitments for their roles totally got me.
On Love 911 Oct 30, 2014
Title Love 911
The film was alright, I don't know what it was meant to be. Is it a melo? A rom-com? or what? It wasn't special. I thought it was fine, nothing more or less.
Seeing Go Soo all over the film was worth it and Han Hyo Joo is always a pleasure.
On My P.S. Partner Oct 30, 2014
This has stricking similarities to Petty Romance and I didn't exactly like that film.

This one was better produced, it wasn't heavy but the sense of humour ticked me off big time. I think I only smiled a little once or twice.
The cast was good, the permise was fine adult-wise but here's my question: What on earth makes this film any special? I can't seem to understand the "Amazing" "superb" words everywhere, I know it's a matter of tastes but oh well.
On Waiting in the Dark Oct 30, 2014
That was a pretty cool dramatic thriller. I didn't expect much from it but it surely delivered well.
The story is surreal and some things didn't work out the way they should've but this film was a pretty good watch!
On Loving, Never Forgetting Oct 30, 2014
This drama was a pretty good run. For a 30+ drama that is. I usually can't handle long dramas unless they have some elements to keep me longing for more. Loving, Never Forgetting managed to throw some good punches here and there.

I thought it would be like Lee Jun Kai or Autumn's Concerto but it was absolutely different in its own way. I was hoping for a hateful male lead but I didn't exactly get what I wanted. The supporting characters were predictable, lame and irritating sometimes.

The acting was alright to average but the chemistry between the main leads was HOT especially in the latter episodes, they kept me waiting too long to get what I want; it ruined it somehow. My first encounter with Jerry Yan was a total success but I doubt if I will ever watch him in anything again considering the roles he plays.
On The Warrior and the Wolf Oct 30, 2014
I swear my favourite actors are making watch all types of films but for Odagiri Joe, it's no surprise that he would take this type of role.

The film tried to become artsy instead of heroic, I don't know what to feel about that but it certainly didn't succeed. A passionate love story? That was mostly plotless and slow sailing to make me even connect to its main characters.
It was worth the while, only for Odagiri.
On Oh! Brothers Oct 30, 2014
Title Oh! Brothers
This film gave me a real good laugh! It was also heartwarming at some parts. It wasn't excellent or anything but I really enjoyed it!
It was absolutely amazing to see Lee Jung Jae ahjussi and Lee Beom Seo acting together in one of their older roles. Fun indeed :D
On Temptation of Wolves Oct 30, 2014
Too much things to fit in a film! And the title is totally wrong, it doesn't connect to the film's events at all.
I don't know, I wasn't even expecting anything from this film as I was watching just to clear it from my HD but it wasn't that captivating although the acting and the general permise felt pretty good.

Overall, it's a film to forget. I loved Kang Dong Won though, as usual.
On Kuan Kammathep Oct 30, 2014
Although I really enjoyed this one at the beginning with the families' bickering and Kat' grandma entertaining behaviour but things got tiring in the middle and I wanted the drama to end already.
I liked the cupid gang and the over-use of female characters in the drama, it was worth it but it wasn't any great. Well, that's something normal to expect from a Thai lakorn. The chemistry was only fine in this, not that striking like in other lakorns.
On Marriage, Not Dating Oct 30, 2014
I liked this drama so much prior to episode 9 or 8. After that, I couldn't find my way back until the few last episodes which didn't help much.
Just so you know, 6 isn't that low of a rating from me especially for a rom-com. A likeable one only if it wasn't ruined by makjang and melo in the middle. No regrets overall.
On Triangle Oct 30, 2014
Title Triangle
VERY disappointed with this drama. I was really looking for a good mystery to entertain me and Triangle looked like it. The first episode was very high class mystery pilot, the two following episodes were also alright but then everything started to fall downhill.

To like and appreciate a mystery drama, the plot and the mystery build-up should be very tight and twisty. It was only halfway the drama that I decided to look the screenwriter up and she is totally not mystery writer. She tried so hardly to excite the audience with helpless tries that I found them very predictable and even insulting at times, playing an intelligence game with her audience. Do you take us for fools lady?

I had my hunch about the killer long way before the ending and while that wasn't even enough to bring me down, they had to make one heck of a crappy absurd reason for committing the crime. Stupid screenwriter ruined it all for me.

Btw I loved the acting! Egushi Yosuke is always a pleasure, I loved seeing Sakai even in a supporting role. Tanihara, Inagaki, Sasaki were pretty good and even Hirosue didn't bother me much. However, the only character I was interested in was Goda (the main), the other ones hardly picked my interest at all.
On Sanaeha Sunya Kaen Oct 30, 2014
I liked this slap kiss at many parts especially the OST and Dome playing a very hateful male lead, he was more attractive than in the vampire lakorn. But in here, he always wears tight trousers, I disliked that!

The repetitive pattern that this lakorn followed was really bothersome at times. I don't know, although I like Rawr scenes but in here, they repeated them a lot in the same way that it felt bad. Not to mention that the female lead character was very poorly written.

The side love sories (about three) managed to pull me back in especially Nahk and his character. I was pissed that they didn't pay attention to Akk's story like they did with his brother and even sister, he deserved more than that.
On Princess Raccoon Oct 30, 2014
One of the weirdest films I've see in my whole life and the surprising thing is: I think I liked it.

I keep saying this but it's amazing the type of films my favourite actors are making me watch. This time it's Odagiri and Zhang Ziyi together, totally irresistible for me!

It's some type of an opera, at some point I thought it would be very fitting for theatrical viewing instead of the big screen. It took me a while to get used to this, like seriously they were rapping in an opera style. Good lord! But then I found myself enjoying it and I ended the whole thing with a smile. I couldn't even feel the time passing by.

This is a very strange yet pleasant experience. Japanese films never cease to surprise me and I love it!
