Yes, I do since I try to be objective with my ratings. Usually 8 and above are the dramas that delievered the subjective and objective satisfaction.
I do expect Ooku to be quite mature; it's also my second period Japanese drama; Yusha Yoshihiko being the first (I don't know if that counts). What are the other dramas you're following?

Tu es forcé de m'écouter Moon parce que c'est mon nature et après tout; tu n'es pas le genre qui haine les sarcasmes :p Pour la dernière fois, je ne suis pas un Otaku!
Comment vont tes séries?

I know how you feel about Two Weeks; I found it full of flaws too and I am into a fight whether to change the rating to 6 or leave it at 7. The Chaser is without doubt much better. I had a fight between 8 and 9.
Yes, he's really awesome in that role. I guess that's what made people get to know him. Is Ooku good? I have it on my top priorities but I intend to go easy with his dramas so that I won't finish all of them in a short period :D

Oh, you recently completed Maou?

Any time (:
My most hated genre would be tragic melodramas after Horror. And yes, you can say that I came to dislike them lately (as a year ago) since they fail to move me, I mean what's the point of watching a melo if it doesn't move you? I am ice queen so I don't cry; actually, I end up laughing when someone cries because of a drama/movie in front of me.
I watched the oldies before I became addicted or I would never gave them a try. You can say that my taste changed a lot through my journey in dramaland. I used to like romantic comedies but now, I avoid them as a plague and if I watch them, they never get a high score from me.
I still watch melos btw, only NOT the tragic one. That's why I will give Secrets a try soon because I heart revenge stories even of they're melodramas.

Yes go for it Dior; I know you would appreciate these types of dramas. I am sure you will like it more than Namonaki Doku. But what do you mean there was no mystery? You already watched Karamazov no Kyoudai, right?
I will do that pretty soon. It's just that I have a hard time to watch a movie when I am in dramas' mood. Yes, I need dramas' mood and movies' mood :D
Yup, you're right. No dramas can be as intense as Japanese dramas, I saw couple Korean dramas that are focused on some action and suspense and they didn't reach the Japanese level. However, there some good ones if you're ready to give them a go.

Great Teacher Onizuka is a school drama for sure; I thought you don't like those. As for others, I am afraid I haven't seen any of them to give you a proper opinion about them.
That's interesting. Out of all four important elements you mentioned, I can ovelook the cinematography occasionally especially in dramas.
And I am glad that you get to work you want. Best wishes Pretty^^
How's Golden Empire treating you?

I finished The Chaser; I still recommend it. It ressembles Two Weeks only much better screenwriting, caracterization and acting. Which are the other dramas on your priority list?
JOKER is a detective drama so you can guess the episodic pattern but its theme is different; Masato-kun plays the role of a detective who punishes criminals who can't be punished by the law. Legal High is about law and comedy; Masato plays the role of a sassy funny lawyer. Both dramas shouldn't be missed but as a priority, watch Legal High.

Are you okay with Sniper Standoff's genre? I do watch HKC dramas but only the periodic ones so it took me a little while to get used to the current time setting. If you ask my opinion, I would say that HKC productions with Wuxia genre are the best.
Yes, I am doing my best to avoid Slice of life and melodramas but apprently you like that genre a lot. I am involved in intense dramas for now, mystery, action detective being on top of everything else.
You never saw any remake? That's interesting. A while ago I used to love remakes more than anything else but now, I am not so sure.

Hyun Joo's character is pitiful and I agree, it's hard to see him as protagonist. I wish I saw "The Chaser" before Golden Empire but well, he's not that horrible, his acting is as awesome as ever. Kang Dong Yoon (Kim Sang Joon's character) is a great villain, I just can't bring myself to hate him no matter what he does wrong. He reminds me of Choi Min Jae; I loved that guy despite the fact that he was evil, I am going through the same phase now.
If they want to do a sequel; it won't be hard because the story can be extended with more missions to Hanzawa but at the end of the day, it may become boring that's why I said that specials can be the best solution.
Yes, I love the guy because he's just a genius actor. My first encounter with him was in JOKER and I fell in love with his acting skills, he's well worthy of a spot in my top five list and he needs to get the best actor award this year.

I was going to write a review for this drama as when I last checked no one had done one yet...I saw that CheerfulSoul's…
You're welcome (:

Yes, I am really enjoying it. My favorite screenwriter wrote it after all.
I watch HKC dramas but only the historical ones; this is my first HK drama in current times and I only started it because of action. I don't know about her other dramas but Kathy Chow's character is annoying as hell here, she's ruining the drama for me.
I heard a lot of things about Woman but I won't watch it because I am not into the theme. You like Slice of Life? Then did you watch "Kimi Ni Todoke" and "Bokura Ga Ita"? They fit perfectly in that genre.

You can't afford that so what can we do? I have to tease you instead :p
I am going to wait then, I am having great expectations for that drama.

You're right Son Hyun Joo was really brilliant as Min Jae. I am watching him in another drama "The Chaser" and he's the good guy, I like his acting but his character doesn't absorb me like Choi Min Jae did. Instead, I am leaning towards the villain in this drama Kim Sang Joon who's another genius actor.
Sequel? I would love to see that! But I am kind of scared that it won't live to the original drama so maybe a special or two?

Yes, he's really well worthy of that spot and I will continue to watch his dramas. I can't wait for Legal High season 2! I am really excited about it.
Yes, I like The Chaser. It's a good thriller plus I really love the main actors. Don't worry about it, I will come back to Jdramas after finishing this one :D
