I am back but it's not a strong comeback like I thought it would be. I am not picking the films I wan to pick and I am not watching enough dramas like I used to before.

Yup, totally for HJW and no one else but him :p I am committed to watch all of his films so I had to watch Time at some point.

Yes, I heard that KKD is hated in SK for his ways of criticizing the society. They even boycotted many of his films including Time. It's totally cool though since he has many international fans and his films premiere outside Korean most of the time.

What films caught you attention during this phase? And I agree, it's always refreshing to have a break every once in a while.

Maybe you're right and that's their reasoning why they din't give their idols acting lessons. But you know, not all Johnny's suck; there are about 5% that are pretty good actors; not at the level of Sakai but they're still good enough.

IG is one of those dramas that make me love three or four of supporting male characters more than the male lead, it also makes me hate many writing twists. Did you ask if the character sucked or the acting? My answer is both! I saw Jin Se Yeon in The Bridal's Mask before and although she made it into my black list because of her outrageous acting, I still found it bearable because the character was at least well-written but in here, her character made me hate her even more.

Spoiling brats are all over the place; posting comments like "OMG, I can't believe he died!". It didn't happen with one drama, they spoiled two or three other dramas for me. It's the moment where I want to hold my scalpel and cut them to pieces.

Since you're enjoying Beyong the Clouds then it must be pretty cool. I will be waiting for next week to start this one. What else are you enjoying at the moment?

Hooray for second male leads! All the second male leads in Asian dramas and films should celebrate with this film LOL
But the sequel's synopsis implies that she will go back to Zhang Shen Ran, it was too good to be true anyway :D

I am good at the moment, I just went out from a drama slump myself and I am picking things little by little. As for the New Year, do you mean our Lunar year or what year are you exactly talking about? I finished Fumo Chitai long time ago. It was such a pleasure watch, I am officially a fan of the business genre.

Although many say that Miike's remake of Harakiri is necessary, I don't thing I fully agree because it was a cool piece of work too and don't forget that there are many people who refuse to watch black and white productions. As for 13 Assassins, I don't see it as a waste at all because the older version is almost nowhere to be found online.

I finished Nodame and I found it cool. I am glad I watched the anime first, it was a wise move to delay the drama after a long time since I saw the anime so that it would be refreshing to see the live action version. I still have to see the specials and the films though.

Are you slowly finsihing up the winter season? And how's my Gunshi Kanbei?

I read about it a while ago and it's apparently about the showbiz industry and that kind of stuff. I read that the leads Janine (one of my favorite TW actresses) and Joe had to re-do the kissing scene 20 times in freezing temperature and with reporters having fun seeing them suffer. That made me curious but I don't think it will make me watch it :D

I just finished watching "Time" a film of Kim Ki Duk; I remember you once told me that you're a fan of his work.

I will be watching JIN in the future. It's been more than a year since I watched the Korean version; I believe I am over how bad it was by now.

I know how crazy it can get with finding your drama mood again. Lately, I am messing my films' mood instead. I am hardly watching a film every day.
Did you finish Beautiful Life?

When I was in a slump, it was totally blank; I could hardly watch some anime and catch up on "How I met your mother" but I couldn't watch any drama or film so I tried watching some Hollywood films and I couldn't concentrate on anything so I end up rewatching The Godfather's trilogy. I still couldn't get back to Asian anything so I decided to pick up a Thai lakorn instead and it worked, I think it was the reason behind my comeback to dramaland after almost three weeks.

You can't make me pay double partner because it has been more than a week since you came to MDL and I am pretty sure I didn't watch a single thing during that time except some anime and random stuff that aren't Asian so back off! :p

Absolutely Agree, Johnny is such a big agency so give your freaking idols some acting lessons but I don't think that will ever happen because idols who can act (like Oguri Shun who got rid of the idol image) will not be considered idols anymore so Johnny would prefer their stupid members to remain as ikemen idols and to heck with acting. That's what I believe they're thinking.

Inspiring Generation is getting more and more uninteresting, I still didn't lose my patience but the romantic line and bringing Jin Se Yeon to the lead's wheel is pissing me off on too many levels. I also feel a little cheated, I thought this would be a story about freedom fighters but it turns out to be fights between gangs. I am still okay with it but it's not thrilling me one bit.

Chuno, blame the freak who spoiled me saying that the male lead will die at the end for not watching it (I see you completed it that's why I mentioned the spoiler). I feel discouraged each time I want to start it because I know how it will end but I will watch it someday for sure.

I don't know, medical is medical unless they don't focus on the medical process that they always mess up in dramas. I love revenge plots especially the ones made in Japan but if they bring it with the medical genre then I'd rather not watch it.
I will have to wait and see with this one.
