The first drama I watched was Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon because I am a huge Sailor Moon fan. It wasn't until I watched 1 Litre of Tears, though, that I became hooked. :p

@Stasiamae: I heard it ended where it did to follow the manga since the author died before it was completed. It ended at the ending point of the manga. The anime was a little different in that a special ending was included. I don't want to spoil it for others but I'll just say that it had more closure. :P

I looked at your ptw list and I wholeheartedly recommend Arang and the Magistrate. It's one of my favorites! So is Gu Family Book. Iljimae and Hong Gil Dong are awesome too. Also, I really enjoyed Heirs, though some didn't.
