Actually, no. It was only *based* on a true story. A lot of it is fictionalized. Even the names are changed. So I stand by my opinion, which I am free to have. I don't expect everyone to agree with it.

@lol_ok Actually, while I am enjoying the drama, I completely agree with @L13 on this. The addiction aspect is not at all realistic and way overdramacized. I say this as someone who has been around drug addiction. Again, still a good drama, but you shouldn't attack L13 for their views, nor accuse them of arguing because you disagree with her when you started it. Thier opinion is valid.
Also, not joining in to keep the argument going, it's just that I had the exact same opinion as them, too.

You ARE misinformed if you think DEI means racism. That is what I said. It does not mean companies are hiring unqualified ppl based on those differences. That same propaganda was used years ago when pushing back on EOE. It is the same. So if that is what you believe is happening, yes you are misinformed and uneducated on the subject.

See, you are missing that there is a difference. Equal Opportunity Act makes discrimination in hiring illegal, yes. However, DEI adds to that by being encouraging and more open to diversity in the work place. I suck at explaining things, but I will try.
Like, you can't be denied a job based on your age, for example with EOE. However, that is where it ends. Right there. DEI goes one step further. If an elder is hired, for example, a DEI employer ALSO might be like, hey, you probably have a lot of life experience and that's awesome, so maybe we can use some of that knowledge to improve upon our own work goals. That goes for all other categories, as well.
DEI does not have a "quota" to fill. It does not mean a company is hiring minorities over non minorities. It just means that, in addition to being Equal Opportunity, a person's differences are valued, enouraged and embraced.
Please google and learn more. Unfortunately, it has become politicized so there is a lot of misinformation out there. Honestly, from what you are saying, you are actually in agreement with DEI, you just don't realize it. Please stop watching and listening to politically biased "news", too.
I hate getting into political crap but I will say this. DEI isn't for hiring minorities or ppl with disabilities above others. It is for ALLOWING them to be included in consideration and not disqualified BASED on being a minority or disabled. I really can't understand how it has been so misunderstood. That is all.

I actually find all this criticizing fascinating. lol The leads are a couple irl and, personally, I find the male lead very young looking, so calling him a sugar daddy is hilarious to me. Here it is, though. No matter their rl ages, their characters are most likely in their, wait for it.....late teens. I don't find the fl that childish compared to other fls in other dramas. When I watch, I see characters teens/young adults, not 30 somethings, which means they are convincing. So actually, you are criticizing her for being childish when she is *supposed* to be childish.
