Ok. Thank you for changing it. Seriously, though. It's still not nice to call people stupid, either. You can totally have your opinions. I get that and respect them, but it'd better to express them without putting down others.

Dude. You ** like it was a curse word. Don't olay that just because stupid has the same number of letters as sh****. Everyone knows stupid isn't a banned word, so stop backtracking. We know exactly what word that was, and yeah, abuse. Stupid would be, too, actually. You are name calling.

Yeah, there are a few. It's certainly not a perfect drama, by any means! I still find it entertaining, despite the issues I have with it.
I have been annoyed at how people are boycotting it without even watching it, even before it started airing. I get how sensitive Koreans are to that time period, but as I said, by ep 11, they have shown the story *agrees* with all the problens people have. Kang Moo has been shown going from thinking the NSA he works for are the good guys to realizing they are actually the bad guys. The government has always been shown to being the bad guys, but we are now seeing the dad starting to realize they are not the good side, too. We also see Soo Ho come to the same realization.
The whole point of the story, if these people would watch, is that all start off thinking their side is right and good, then coming to understand, no. They are actually the bad guys, after all. That part, I think, has been done brilliantly.

It's not, which is what I'm saying. That would be the only plausible thing, imo. After everything, I just can't see any reasonable person still liking someone like that. That's my only issue with the drama.
Need a 'Stop Watching: Snowdrop' article with some actual facts and the real conversation. No offense but the…

I am watching this. By ep 11, they really show how the government, NSA and NK are awful and bad. The issues people had with it are totally cleared up. It's showing the same opinions and facts.
Honestly, though, I do find the whole plot implausible. I just can't see anyone being in love with someone who put a gun to your head, threatened to kill you, held everyone hostage and just watched while his partners beat people. Even if he feels sorry. That is my beef with the drama and whyvI won't rate this drama very high, though I am still wanting to see how it ends. In short, the love story aspect makes no sense to me, unless it is purely Stockholm Syndrome.
Wtf? 8,284 comments?! Are ya'll freaking nuts? I have been on this site for 9 years and have NEVER seen this level of crazy. Trust me. I have seen a lot during the years. Everyone chill out. Seriously. Just wow.
This is not a typical horror film, it is a story of doubt and fear that comes from the human heart. There is a…
Wonderful in depth analysis! The only thing you didn't explain was the pictures. Back when cameras were still rare in rural parts of Asia, many people thought them 'devil boxes'. That their souls would be snatched by the devil when their pic was taken. So, that is why and how the devil took the souls of his victims.
Can anyone who has insight into Korean history, explain the gwangju uprising to me or perhaps send me a reliable…
North Korea was and still is a communist dictatorship. Back in the '50's, they invaded South Korea, which began the Korean War. In the end, they were pushed back, with the help of the US.
South Korea did not have democracy until the '90's. They, too, were under a series of dictatorships. During the time when the drama takes place, there was a coup and it established a brutal military dictatorship. The Gwangju Uprising was really a massacre. Because dissent was so strong in Gwangju, the military was sent there to take control. They barracaded people in. No one could come or go. The people fought back and even took control of the city for a few days, but then the army attacked and brutally killed and injured hundreds of people, regardless of who they were. They would attack anyone that they came by, even innocent civilians.
While all this was happening Cho Do Hyun (the dictator) did his best to supress info about it. Virtually no one outside of Gwangju knew what was happening. It was crazy. It was like...very similar to what is happening in Myanmar right now, as an example.
Check out Wikipedia on it. Also, YouTube has actual footage that was taken at the time.
A good movie to watch about it is A Taxi Driver. Another one is May 18.
Do not, I repeat, do not be an idiot like me and check Korean Daum about it. You will have nightmares. Stick to the others I mentioned.
You do realize that people rate things differently, right? A 6 to you might not mean the same thing to another…
How about you rate your way and let others rate their way. Know what's even more illogical? Expecting everyone to have the same way of doing things like you. I don't care what you think about my opinions on rating. You come over here and comment rudely. I am reporting you to Admin.
I don't expect others to always agree with me, but I also don't go and attack people for not liking a drama I did or how they rate. Grow up and tealize that everyone is different and do things differently.
