I am so shocked and bummed by all the complaining in these comments. Everyone has differing tastes. I have been here for years and though complaints have come up every year, I have never seen so many toxic comments. It makes me sad. We are all drama lovers here. When he finally realizes that he did not actually wake up, that he was in another dream within in a dream, by realizing he couldn't feel anything. So he jumped off the building to get back to the other dream.

I totally agree with this. Not just for this genre, but any genre. An ex of mine used to piss me off to end because he insisted there were "rules" to fantasy fiction. That is simply false. In the world of fiction, when dealing with non realistic subjects, writers are free to be as creative as they so desire.
