What's the point
Cut vs. Uncut? What’s the difference, and what’s the point? There is literally nothing happening in the uncut version, and there is practically no difference. The cut version is over-edited, making it less coherent. They teased the kissing WAY too much—it literally became boring to watch. The overly silly characters were frustrating, and why is it always the female characters that are portrayed like that?
The editing was a mess, and who hires an underage actor so that we don’t even get a single kiss scene? does not make sense for this role at all. This completely ruined the chemistry between the characters and many key moments.
Overall, this was disappointing and does not stay true to its genre.
The Thai remake of Addicted: Heroin fails to capture the raw emotion of the 2016 Chinese original. While visually polished, it lacks the intense chemistry and depth that made the original a cult favorite. The storytelling feels restrained, making it less impactful. New viewers may enjoy it, but longtime fans might be disappointed.

unengaging
This has been the most unengaging watch for me so far this year. I feel bad for saying this cuz I can see this show had good intentions and the finale was pretty cute, but virtually nothing happened. The actors, who are supposed to portray grown men with jobs that have experience with relationships, instead behave like 14-year-old middle schoolers experiencing things for the first time. This is the type of BL that kills my engagement for this genre. And no, I am not giving this a good score just beacuse one of the actors looks cute, like 50% of the good scores here are. It ruins the seriousness of the scores. Was this review helpful to you?

offeres something
Double Exposure (2024) is a South Korean BL film exploring desire and identity. The story follows photographer Myeong Seon, who becomes entangled with his assistant's boyfriend, Gi Jun, and later meets a man who resembles him, leading to a complex emotional journey. While the film has strong performances and an artistic portrayal of sensuality, its reliance on explicit scenes and a weak plot may not appeal to all. It offers a raw exploration of intimacy but lacks narrative depth. The actors were not all that good either.disclaimer: I did see it with poor translation.

important
I just want to write a short review beacuse I think a lot of the reviews here are from people how haven't red about the past lore of this series. If you do that, you will understand much more of what is happening. when you do, things makes sense and it really changes this to be a really good BL that touches upon important subjects. I recomment watching it if you are not triggered by r**eWas this review helpful to you?

In Your Heart (2022) – 7/10
A soft, emotional BL drama that stands out simply for being made in China, where LGBTQ+ stories are incredibly rare. I’m giving it a 7 not just for the story, but for its boldness in even existing—something worth praising in itself.I also think it’s a shame when people automatically rate a show poorly just because it includes a "forced" scene. These things, as uncomfortable as they are, happen in real life. To pretend otherwise is naive. We need shows that don’t shy away from difficult moments—because they make the story feel more real and human.

beautifully crafted
The Renovation (2024) is a beautifully crafted Thai BL mini-series that seamlessly blends romance, healing, and self-discovery into a touching two-episode journey. Set against the backdrop of a scenic resort, the series delivers a heartfelt storyline while also featuring a rare but well-executed spicy scene—something increasingly scarce in modern BLs.Plot Summary
The story follows Arthit, a resort owner struggling with heartbreak, and Pee, a young writer searching for inspiration. Their initial clashes slowly turn into understanding as they embark on the journey of restoring the resort together. Along the way, they confront past wounds, uncover hidden emotions, and ultimately find solace in each other.
Why You Should Watch It
✔ Great Chemistry – The leads deliver natural and heartfelt performances, making their emotional connection feel authentic.
✔ Beautiful Cinematography – The picturesque resort setting enhances the story’s emotional impact.
✔ Simple but Effective Storytelling – The series may be short, but it manages to deliver a warm and meaningful narrative without unnecessary drama.

Spot on
Sky Valley (2024) is a great experience that beautifully blends intreaguing characters with a heartfelt and engaging story. I don’t understand why some people give it low reviews—because of a little nudity? Or something else? Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much watching a BL! This series truly reignited my love for the genre. The performances are fantastic, the humor is spot-on, and the emotional depth makes it unforgettable. I really hope they make another season or create a similar series, because this was an absolute joy to watch. Soemthing a little crazy in a really boring and mainstream BL world that is today. Was this review helpful to you?

poetic and emotionally profound
180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us" is a poetic and emotionally profound Thai film directed by Nueng Dharmajiva. It explores themes of love, loss, and reconciliation through the intimate relationship between a mother and her son. With stunning cinematography and a dreamlike narrative, the film delves into past wounds and personal transformations, offering a deeply touching and introspective experience. Its slow-burn storytelling and evocative atmosphere make it a unique and mesmerizing watch for those who appreciate thought-provoking cinemaI was a little worried about the story because of its controversy, but they made the right decisions for it, so I am rating this high. The acting was very good—haven't seen this good acting in a long time. Closest score to 10 I have ever given.

so much potential
Absolute Zero (2023) had so much potential but ended up being more frustrating than emotional. The idea of a tragic love story mixed with time travel is cool, but the execution? Kind of a mess. The timeline jumps are confusing, and instead of feeling deep, it just feels like the show is trying too hard to be profound. The lead actors do a solid job, and there are definitely some emotional moments that hit hard. But the pacing drags, and by the end, it’s hard to tell if the journey was worth it. If you love melancholic BL dramas, you might enjoy it, but if you're looking for something more coherent, this might not be it.
I see this has: R - Restricted Screening (nudity & violence) this is absolute wrong. Nothing, litterary nothing is happening.

Fresh
Love in the Air: Koi no Yokan (2024) offers a fresh Japanese take on the beloved Thai BL series. With charming performances from Nagumo Shoma and Hamaya Takuto, the show delivers heartwarming romance and beautiful cinematography. While it differs from the original, it brings its own charm, making it a delightful watch for BL fans.Loved that they added the Thai actors at the end in the special episode. That was so cool!

The series picks up where Season 1 left off, following Pop and Oat’s turbulent relationship, alongside a new set of love triangles and misunderstandings. While some characters get more depth, the narrative often feels forced, relying on unnecessary drama rather than organic development. The pacing is inconsistent, with certain subplots dragging while others feel rushed.
The acting is a mixed bag—some performances are engaging, while others feel awkward or exaggerated. The production value remains modest.
Perhaps the most frustrating aspect is how the series handles its relationships. Instead of offering meaningful resolutions, it leans heavily on angst and miscommunication, leaving viewers more exhausted than satisfied.
The one thing that I really liked was the soundtrack.
For fans of the first season, Final Call provides some closure, but it’s a bumpy ride that may not be worth the turbulence.
Tips: If you want the "better" ending, don't watch season 2. It leaves you with more new questions than answered ones.

I Feel You Linger in the Air: Uncut Version

has its moments
I Feel You Linger in the Air has a visually appealing setting and a promising premise of romance intertwined with time travel. The historical backdrop of 1920s Siam is beautifully portrayed, and the leads deliver good performances. However, the series struggles with pacing, making it feel overly drawn out at times. While the uncut version provides additional depth, some scenes fail to contribute meaningfully to the story, leaving it uneven.
Though it has its moments, the series falls short of its potential, earning a 6.5/10 for its blend of charm and flaws.
Things I didn't like:
Jom's Lack of Communication: While it's understandable that Jom has endured significant trauma, his continued inability to communicate effectively, even in calmer moments, comes across as uncharacteristically unresponsive and diminishes his depth as a character.
Handling of Sensitive Topics: A series that includes depictions of sexual assault (SA) and rape will never achieve a perfect rating from me. These issues are deeply serious and are never justifiable, regardless of the narrative context.
Jom's Unmerited Privilege: Despite knowing little about him, other characters inexplicably grant Jom exceptional treatment, seemingly without justification. This creates an imbalance in the story that undermines realism and character development.
I liked:
Outstanding Music: A beautifully crafted soundtrack that perfectly enhanced the emotional depth of the series.
Unique Plot: A fresh and intriguing story blending traditional and modern elements.
Sweet Chemistry: The leads shared a heartfelt, genuine bond that felt truly authentic.
Story Depth: A narrative rich with meaning, offering both entertainment and reflection.

don't waste your time on the main story
The chemistry between the mains is underwhelming, making it difficult to invest in their journey. Some dialogue comes across as forced or overly melodramatic, detracting from the authenticity of the story. Additionally, the production quality, from the cinematography to the soundtrack, does little to elevate the narrative. It's really obvious that they are not focusing on the mains. The story is just so caotic and bad. Skip the main couple and watch for the side couple. Then you will get a good story. Only reason I give this 6

A must-watch
"Egoist" is a deeply moving and visually stunning exploration of love, identity, and vulnerability. The film masterfully portrays the complexities of human connection, anchored by heartfelt performances that exude authenticity. Its nuanced storytelling and delicate cinematography draw viewers into a world where emotions feel raw yet universally relatable. This is Not a BL - but a real deep movie. The film's portrayal of LGBTQ+ themes is sensitive and poignant, highlighting the struggles and triumphs of living one's truth. "Egoist" doesn't shy away from emotional depth, offering moments of profound introspection alongside bursts of genuine joy.
Story and acting are very good. The movie didn't really have much music. But it suited the movie well - And I like that there is not to much music.
A must-watch for anyone seeking a film that challenges the heart and lingers in the soul long after the credits roll.
