it's not a competion, but with different perspective. Watching dramas, do you really mind if an actor d***ed? NO. Adults don't do it. Kdrama fans cannot stay serious, so it's them taking into a competion while cdramas are far superior. And it's your own guilt starting late with cdramas wasting time on kdramas
JIANG JIAQI THE MAN THAT YOU ARE. In the original too, I thought the wife was too stupid to cheat on a man like this, despite it was not exaggeratedly charming like in this remake. He had his own charm, in a way, though. In this remake I think this even more, because the politeness, calm vibes, charming attitude and moral integrity is on another level. Episode 9 If i remember it correctly, it will set something for later on with the friends' case. Episode 10. The scene on the snow is majestic, well executed and with a deep meaning. It's the whole meaning of the plot. falling through an hard path while never gives up and stand up again. " I can't die yet". Really loved how Jiang Jiaqi is getting alone alone and still quite shaken, starting to understand and care more for Yu'An, and even being influenced by her. he is starting to leave the cage he is in. Next ep will be the turning point, one of them.
antis and kdramas su***kers are rating it low out of envy
it's not hate at all, it's laughing more than hate. Kdrama fans cannot even analyse properly frame by frame a remake, understand the nuances, the development, the message conveyed. They only care about actors, nothing more. It' s hate when you value a remake because of a d****d body ( and i won't say what i think about the case, because i'm not someone whitewashing or fangirling). I like the korean version in plot only, because i'm not someone weak that cannot handle depression, tears, sorrow and grief, From a drama like this, i only expect heaviness and depression, not laughter. I'm mature enough to understand that a drama should convey a message. the korean version cannot convey a single thing, unless you don't want to be a d****d person inside like Ji-An. Everyone has its own problem and life, like dramas, should teach to fight them. they are bitter because the remake is far superior in everything, because it conveys way better the message cutting elements for weak people like comedy. A plot like this does not need comedy, not now and not ever. When kdrama fans can stop being obsessed over actors like 11yo children and watching dramas as adults and in a mature way, they can be taken seriously.
can you blame her? she has grown too fast for her age, she took everything on her own without losing the willing…
it's psychological. She said to him that she seems already defeated, like trapped in a cage waiting for his own end. She needs some more time to understand he cares about her and what she had gone through. Yu'An is not defeated, she is still struggling since you, and just recently she knew that Jiang Jiaqi's life is not as perfect as it seems from the outside. She said they are similar but the attitude is totally different. Yu'An is someone that won't sell only themselved and the ones she cares about, for money. Strangers doesn't matter. At the momet he is still someone she does not know so well, she is starting to know him through the hidden recordings. Give her some times and you will see
Pls could you mention under Spoiler, im curious ? ( except Bee scene what else ?
Chinese is better in conveying emotions and sorrow which i could not see in the original. And the actual scene is even shifted later, not at the beginning. It fulfills the original purpose because the attitude of the leads is different while adding a better way to understand them, and the slad was a chief kiss in execution way better than the original.
i watched more than 5K cdramas since 2014 to the point i have almost finished everything ( i did not use MDL first, so i have to put them here). I watch cdramas to be filled with Asian values and ideals, not for watching USa colonies. I don't want anything from the west coming from a drama, from values to fornitures. Modern setting should be modeled and created in Asia only. In tons of kdramas the way of putting the furniture in the house and even the material is not from Korea, and sorry, i watch dramas for this exactly. And then well if you find valuable cringe series like crash landing on you with a completely immoral and ridiculous ending, even more irrealistic, feel free to watch them. I mind Asian values and realism. Chinese shows have a bit of comedy but i have never seen people pooping in pants like in lovely runner. Does korea have no bathrooms? what's the deep meaning of the scene? and more, in a drama that should be sorrowful like Shining for one thing? Yes, i'm stuck with moral values and i'm too old to fangirling like a 11yo, more since i deeply criticise the OG actor here. Moral values and teaching are the main aim of the drama, not fangirling or actors. Actors work and we should respect their work, but the drama has a message to MANDATORY convey. That's what kdramas never do. crash landing on you, what's the message? that a war is nothing and people can live on hearts and romance? bu***lshit since the drama is over north and south korea, not a romance without any chemistry. if kdramas are like this, i'm sorry, stick with them. I will stick to the far superior Cdramas seriousness in which for sure they won't reduce a war to romance. No need to force others.
because of IU's acting, she needed it to be polished but she was the one not making me drop it because of the cringe comedy. this plot should have no place for comedy
i watched my mister but yes, for kdramas su***ks, always, and Chinese dramas are far superior. I find very vicious and malicious trying to lightheart things. Attorney woo, it's autism, so why the cringe love story? i watched my mister, and why the cringe comedy thing? it's nonsense for me, and unless kdramas can stop with this attitude, for me they will always su***k and i'm not the only one thinking it. the plot of this drama should ONLY be dramatic, always dramatic, no breath for comedy, that's why i did not like my mister. i had the same problem with lovely runner. kdramas can't do serious things at all. they can't go in depressed mode. same reason why I agree with you about 步步惊心 and i despise moon lovers.
I tried everything, but Kdrama and Thai ones are not my cup of tea lol so i watch them only for remakes purpose, because I like to compare. I was not satisfied ( like for moon lovers which is the one I'm the most anti for). Giving everything an opportunity is healthy because you don't know you like or dislike something unless you don't try it, but I stick to Cdramas because they are so much my cup of tea that my lowest rating is 9.5 😂
