for me it's exactly the opposite... the big NO was the kdramas, too much useless comedy
I'm sorry, but in adults' life dignity is not taught through comedy but through struggles and resilience, that's what the remake successfully puts into light in each frame. You cannot have any teaching from comedy and humour, that's why the original fails in the execution.
And i'm glad this remake is having into consideration real life, resilience, teaching, meaningful things in life, with some daily life scenes without being disturbing comedy for weak people.

Episode 11. When Jiang Jiaqi reacts to the announcement of the investigation, he shows that he is still willing to fight.
His reaction to the realisation of his wife's cheating with Gu Chen is on point. Surprise, sorrow, realisation of what he could not understand before. He is realising and understanding how she felt. I don't justify her, just like in the original she is at fault, because her an Jiang Jiaqi are two souls that are close but not connected. She should have not cheated, not only because he was still faithful, but at least out of respect and admiration she has for him. I can understand her feelings though, and I'm glad this remake is exploring even more in deep each character, not only the surface.
Leaving scars is what matters the most.
the fight on the soccer court is well executed and no comedy like in the original. And then...
Yu'an. " I did something. i don't know if I helped him or hurt him". She is still struggling to understand feelings in a world that left her alone and self-sufficient. She is a young adult that had to grow up fast, too fast, and now she struggles to find a balance to her difficult reality and what she really feels, what she really is.

This is a wonderful drama. I don't know why it low in rating. Right now, it is full of despair and sadness. I…
kdrama fans are petty and bitter because this masterpiece is far superior an far more perfect than the original

then explain to me logical and adult reason to put some useless comedy to make the drama very illogical, disturbing and nonsense. Weak people kdrama fans, too weak inside.

Why do I feel so melancholy at every episode. One, I want to ease YuAn’s load, take some away, go with her to…
That's exactly what the plot should convey, melancholy at its best, no escape from it. Yu'An is cute in her own way but JiaQi is The Man, he deserves the world.

Great review ! The ending was great .Your perspective opens even more things to think about. He learned from FL…
I'm loving this remake because it opens your mind to reason and reflect over things in a very natural way.

antis and kdramas su***kers are rating it low out of envy
when I see a mature way to compare original and remake, I will trust you. I abandoned kdramas because of this spread attitude. You say they can analyse, I am in dramaworld since 2014 and I have never seen a kdrama fan analysing even kdramas only, not talking about remakes... if they would be able to analyse, crash landing would disgust them, but look at the real facts.

it has to deal with a lot of real topics, and probably yes, he will know about it. I did not like his attitude…
I like IU as actress in the original too, but her characters was too shallow and bad i did not like it. This remake is far more realistic, intense, depressing because it's the real tone of the drama.

Thank you for this.
I'm always able to analyse each scene while not forgetting the original. The plot is very good, but the way they develop it, here is on another level of perfection and feelings

KUDOS TO YOU, my friend. I suggest it as a cdrama only watcher because the plot is very good even though the execution is not. But it's up to you. I am a cdrama only watcher but I always suggest to compare original and remake in any case. Personally I like both in terms of plot, but Chinese remakes in way far superior in every aspect in its execution and development

I find the ost on point...
so explain to me why i laught with my mister, i am moved with this remake, and anything korean could ever brought me to tears. Tell me then. I watch dramas for better and more mature purposes than leisure and pure entertainment. but oh well, people liking kdramas can cry to a bunch of hypocrites and cringe like crash landing on you, so no wonder you are too weak to accept real world has no place for smiles sometimes.

because you don't need to smile for this kind of plot...
this is not a plot for smile, it's simple the reality. It's ok if you understand, because not everyone is intelligent to understand sensitive people should not watch this kind of series.

the problem is in their attitude. Remakes are created to be compared, but you need to anaylise. And kdramas are not doing it at all. Too similar to the original? Are you judging by the cover? shallow attitude a cdrama fan would never have. Too similar to the original, and you can't even write a whole paragraph to elaborate this statement. Envious because this remake is way far superior to the original starting with the ML with no scandals? stay bitter then. I'm not so shallow like you.

I find the ost on point...
it's not a competion, but with different perspective. Watching dramas, do you really mind if an actor d***ed? NO. Adults don't do it. Kdrama fans cannot stay serious, so it's them taking into a competion while cdramas are far superior. And it's your own guilt starting late with cdramas wasting time on kdramas

JIANG JIAQI THE MAN THAT YOU ARE.
In the original too, I thought the wife was too stupid to cheat on a man like this, despite it was not exaggeratedly charming like in this remake. He had his own charm, in a way, though.
In this remake I think this even more, because the politeness, calm vibes, charming attitude and moral integrity is on another level.
Episode 9 If i remember it correctly, it will set something for later on with the friends' case.
Episode 10. The scene on the snow is majestic, well executed and with a deep meaning. It's the whole meaning of the plot. falling through an hard path while never gives up and stand up again. " I can't die yet". Really loved how Jiang Jiaqi is getting alone alone and still quite shaken, starting to understand and care more for Yu'An, and even being influenced by her.
he is starting to leave the cage he is in.
Next ep will be the turning point, one of them.

it's not hate at all, it's laughing more than hate. Kdrama fans cannot even analyse properly frame by frame a remake, understand the nuances, the development, the message conveyed. They only care about actors, nothing more. It' s hate when you value a remake because of a d****d body ( and i won't say what i think about the case, because i'm not someone whitewashing or fangirling).
I like the korean version in plot only, because i'm not someone weak that cannot handle depression, tears, sorrow and grief, From a drama like this, i only expect heaviness and depression, not laughter. I'm mature enough to understand that a drama should convey a message.
the korean version cannot convey a single thing, unless you don't want to be a d****d person inside like Ji-An. Everyone has its own problem and life, like dramas, should teach to fight them.
they are bitter because the remake is far superior in everything, because it conveys way better the message cutting elements for weak people like comedy. A plot like this does not need comedy, not now and not ever. When kdrama fans can stop being obsessed over actors like 11yo children and watching dramas as adults and in a mature way, they can be taken seriously.
