remakes are done to be compared and it's not bad at all, but people should anaylise the strength in comparing, not only fangirling, because the actors work to convey something as a tool. I can notice when the plot has potential but it's executed like a 2yo scared todler and while the same plot is executed flawlessly.
i'm not a child to fangirl over an actor and I understand why antis are bitter over this remake, being better than the original and diving deeper into depression and sorrow as it should be. This plot, both original and remake, is done to give a teaching and people here only minds about romance... which is not even the main point of the drama. And in the original OSts are way better than the whole plot execution with nonsense comic relief. This plot is for adults, and it's made to be make audience emotionally destroyed completely. What's the point in the comedy? This remake is diving way deeper than OG in the characters, it gives them the strength of mankind that can resonate in the whole world. A thing Og never had. It's a plot that makes you think " i can do the same as them". If you want to be a d**ad fish like OG FL go ahead. And as i said, i need content and teachings from a drama and my mister never provided them at all. Korea has the vicious behaviour to lightheart things, that's the reason why i gave my mister 3 and this remake 10. This is not a plot for people looking for romance or lighthearted elements.
The romance between the two was a very strong reason why My Mister is well regarded. Two broken souls that help…
I didn't like any of IU characters despite she being very talented, but I agree with you. I've always thought that it started as platonic but slowly changing while both still being rational.
I wasn't getting anything from the FL until episode 4 and then her performance clicked for me. I think you're…
That's why I felt it was not depressing at all, because I can't see them struggling for their lives in a contrast between the situation, their body but their attitude. I feel more depressing struggling endessly without almost no solution and ending in a circle. But I understand your point of view

In the Korean one, I think it's more like mutual admiration and platonic feelings, because they are both rational to know she's too young, and I agree with you about the ending. If this remake will follow it, it will be opening ending with this premise, because the ending can be, or not, a romantic love. Because the main point of the series, in both, was never romantic feelings but similar souls.
There is no romantic plot both in the original and in this remake, and I don't think it can be considered even…
The drama is made to teach. If disrespect is not liking the characters' portrayal, it's still ok for me. I like the original plot too but I don't like when a heavy depressed and grief plot becomes like a mess or too much comedy. That's why I said the execution. This remake is leaving aside the useless comedy because some topic doesn't need to be downtoned with something lighthearted, and I find it a more serious and way better execution than the original
I'm on ep 4 and there's a scene that I think is much better in the Cdrama than the Kdrama. In the Korean version…
THIS. I'm not the only one noticing this, when only people are fangirling over Korean actors lol. In this remake every frame, each action has its deep meaning, it's not only for the remake purpose. The CEO here is a quiet menace, it appears as the good perfect boy with a dark side he wants to hidden, not being ridiculous. And this is one of the anticlimatic things I didn't like in the original drama, becasue it takes a lot of the depressing tone the drama needs to have
I wasn't getting anything from the FL until episode 4 and then her performance clicked for me. I think you're…
Can I ask why do you perceive it as less depressive? I'm genuinely curious since I'm preferring it exactly because my perception is the opposite. This drama needs to be depressive to convey in the right way and the original never seemed depressed to me, so I'm curious
This is perception and understandable. I agree to disagree though, I feel this remake conveys the right points…
FL here is raw but human, IU seemed like a deprived zombie without any will to fight. I like IU but i disliked her character, while in the remake I like both actress and character
So far this is being less Depressive than the original version (not that i want it to be more) FL actress Isn't…
This is perception and understandable. I agree to disagree though, I feel this remake conveys the right points and FL being more like she should be, aloof but not weak

I agree with you for the last point, I think exactly the same. I don't disrespect the original because I give credit to the wholesome plot. It's the execution of it that I did not like, and it's not only me.
no, it's not. it's kdrama fans that can't live without a love story. People commenting it here is because they…
In my opinion, 5 episodes watched, it's at the same level in terms of acting skills, but it has overcome the original in terms of conveying the message and layered characters
There is no romantic plot both in the original and in this remake, and I don't think it can be considered even…
I give more importance to how the drama portrays and conveys the message, rather than having the fangirl or fanboy attitude. Whatever the drama portrays in the good way, I praise it. In My mister I have never felt moved one single time, it was too monodimensional, no real teaching. I would have never act like those characters in my life. This remake makes me think the opposite. If people would watch cdramas in a better light, not acting like 11yo fangirls, it would be very better, since the drama is not only actors and it's boring to talk about them only

i have never watched a good kdrama because they have either of a bland happy ending with no tears, or forced happy ending, or either a suppose tragic ending with comedy relief or issued by nonsense. On the contrary, never watched an imperfect cdrama since 2014, my lowest rating is 9.5 In China, one of the most successful dramas ever is Nirvana in fire, no romance but it blowed in the nation
