China and SK are totally different. When China fell, the nation raised again on its own, SK sold herself to USA as it is still today, a colony not even independent. China is still a Confucian country and even with plastic surgrery they won't ever reach the disgusting monster level SK has, because sorry, Confucius valued the body as filial piety and you should not change your face completely. Moral integrity is valued in China, that's why p*rn is illegal in China while SK produces drama or movie with p*rn. Did you forget Frozen flower, and rcently Queen woo or Queen who crowns? That garbage would never be produced by China. I choose China because it's not a colony, because it's strong, dependable, and I love EVERYTHING about China I would never see different. Western values starting from liberal democracy have no appeal to me, while SK is indulging in it. Chinese people rejected it too. And no, I would su***ice myself rather than distancing myself from China, because it's the best nation ever for me. SK can't cope with China, not now and not ever in this life or afterlife, Lastly, all that fake plastic in korean trash production is fake, since they are such a colony to rely on netflix or viki, rather than having their own platforms. I won't ever distance to China, because China is the best. See it with YML case, and i talk as a fan. People jumping on conclusions rather than getting into Chinese language and getting the gear of it... China poor? that's want sinophobic and western wants you to believe, because tons of people chose to live in China and stay there because they live well and for sure with a high level of security. I would be scared even to travel to SK, they serve Usa, so I bet they have guns everywhere and they can use it against me. I don't trust them, sorry, not their trash entertaiment, Out of respect for My mister fans, I would refrain myself to say what i think about original ML. So please, continue to watch what you like, but people like me exist and we are a lot. We love strong and free countries, not dependent from the west and with barely any contact with the west. And don't tell me SK is this kind of country.
i think we should stop the" which is better" debate , - korean or chinese.. i like both , for different…
comparison is the purpose of a remake, but I agree that the judgement should be given through the understanding. I don't like the execution in the original but I value the plot
Yes, not a problem. I'm fascinated with Asia, PURE Asia, without any disturbing and eerie influence from the West. Whatever then nation is, I LOVE. My fascination is exactly for this. China is on its own, its own rules and decision, and does not mind the West or any other. I like Asian values, such as social hierarchy, respect for elders, hierarchy at work, the value in society more than your own personal value. Everything is against Western ideas, i LOVE. I mind moral teaching, not leisure, that's why cdramas are for me. As much as I love Japan too, China is the one making feel in the right place. I use both MDL and Chinese platforms to rate them, and Chinese are very strict with their own dramas, more petty and picky than me. About China-Japan relationships, I can understand the hatred, and well China has not a pure hatred though. It's more about not denying history rather than hatred, because history is meant to learn from the past, not for unforgiveness. The "hatred" comes from Japan denying what happened, not for racial reasons. And lastly, there are tons of people out there loving cdramas only, I know lots of them personally. Not everyone should like everything or kdramas, it's not a rule. I can't stand episodes long like a movie, if it's the case they need to be engaging since the synopsis and since the very first frame or I get bored. I can't stand comedy when it's not needed, because there are topic that should not be lightheartened in life. I came to dramas from anime and mangas starting with Jdramas, and I like them too. I don't understand why it seems unusual to be fascinated from China, only because they care about things in life, they value moral integrity and every detail in their production.
for me it's exactly the opposite... the big NO was the kdramas, too much useless comedy
experience and a journey? sorry not every people needs lighthearted people or watch dramas for leisure... it's disturbing when such a topic is melt with comedy, it's nonsense. it's not logical justifying what it should never exist in this kind of dramas and it makes your argument even more from an antis and kdramas obsessed. weak people because they can't stand heaviness, it's like you
for me it's exactly the opposite... the big NO was the kdramas, too much useless comedy
I'm sorry, but in adults' life dignity is not taught through comedy but through struggles and resilience, that's what the remake successfully puts into light in each frame. You cannot have any teaching from comedy and humour, that's why the original fails in the execution. And i'm glad this remake is having into consideration real life, resilience, teaching, meaningful things in life, with some daily life scenes without being disturbing comedy for weak people.
Episode 11. When Jiang Jiaqi reacts to the announcement of the investigation, he shows that he is still willing to fight. His reaction to the realisation of his wife's cheating with Gu Chen is on point. Surprise, sorrow, realisation of what he could not understand before. He is realising and understanding how she felt. I don't justify her, just like in the original she is at fault, because her an Jiang Jiaqi are two souls that are close but not connected. She should have not cheated, not only because he was still faithful, but at least out of respect and admiration she has for him. I can understand her feelings though, and I'm glad this remake is exploring even more in deep each character, not only the surface. Leaving scars is what matters the most. the fight on the soccer court is well executed and no comedy like in the original. And then... Yu'an. " I did something. i don't know if I helped him or hurt him". She is still struggling to understand feelings in a world that left her alone and self-sufficient. She is a young adult that had to grow up fast, too fast, and now she struggles to find a balance to her difficult reality and what she really feels, what she really is.
for me it's exactly the opposite... the big NO was the kdramas, too much useless comedy
then explain to me logical and adult reason to put some useless comedy to make the drama very illogical, disturbing and nonsense. Weak people kdrama fans, too weak inside.
Why do I feel so melancholy at every episode. One, I want to ease YuAn’s load, take some away, go with her to…
That's exactly what the plot should convey, melancholy at its best, no escape from it. Yu'An is cute in her own way but JiaQi is The Man, he deserves the world.
antis and kdramas su***kers are rating it low out of envy
when I see a mature way to compare original and remake, I will trust you. I abandoned kdramas because of this spread attitude. You say they can analyse, I am in dramaworld since 2014 and I have never seen a kdrama fan analysing even kdramas only, not talking about remakes... if they would be able to analyse, crash landing would disgust them, but look at the real facts.
it has to deal with a lot of real topics, and probably yes, he will know about it. I did not like his attitude…
I like IU as actress in the original too, but her characters was too shallow and bad i did not like it. This remake is far more realistic, intense, depressing because it's the real tone of the drama.
I'm always able to analyse each scene while not forgetting the original. The plot is very good, but the way they develop it, here is on another level of perfection and feelings
KUDOS TO YOU, my friend. I suggest it as a cdrama only watcher because the plot is very good even though the execution is not. But it's up to you. I am a cdrama only watcher but I always suggest to compare original and remake in any case. Personally I like both in terms of plot, but Chinese remakes in way far superior in every aspect in its execution and development
ep 12 I think today he finds out about his wife and a hole Co-worker? Seems like this version been going on longer…
it has to deal with a lot of real topics, and probably yes, he will know about it. I did not like his attitude in the original, but I quite think he will act almost the same
so explain to me why i laught with my mister, i am moved with this remake, and anything korean could ever brought me to tears. Tell me then. I watch dramas for better and more mature purposes than leisure and pure entertainment. but oh well, people liking kdramas can cry to a bunch of hypocrites and cringe like crash landing on you, so no wonder you are too weak to accept real world has no place for smiles sometimes.
because you don't need to smile for this kind of plot...
this is not a plot for smile, it's simple the reality. It's ok if you understand, because not everyone is intelligent to understand sensitive people should not watch this kind of series.
