Title Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha Spoiler
True. Those people are probably the ones that will watch and video tape when a crime is happening instead of helping…
I am not sure why that is a problem ? Everything in the drama is a coincidence - her coming to the town, meeting the same boy from years ago, the entire real estate business, SML coming to town, ML meeting the dad on the wrong foot and many others. Even that teacher was helped by the restaurant lady is a coincidence. After all, it is a drama and not real life. Although any of these coincidences can occur in real life too, just not all of them :-)

Must be nice to be men in this world because even the so called feminists tell them it is okay to cry and ask for help but God forbid our own kind needs some help in the worst case scenario, she will be labelled a damsel in distress. Women don't need men to bring them down, we take care of that business pretty well ourselves.

True. Those people are probably the ones that will watch and video tape when a crime is happening instead of helping the victim and also most likely blame the victim later.

I just want her and Director Ji to be together. She has been friend zoned multiple times by the same man, yet…
I like the director too, tbh. He is honest with his feelings. But he missed the train, he had his chance in college and she had a crush on him atthe time. He failed to convert. He is 14 years too late already and she already started having feelings for Hong when he showed up. As unfortunate as it is...

Sorry to say there is 1 breakup and she will move to Seoul but she will eventually realize her mistake and regret…
I agree. She made her decision between Seoul and Gongjin. I think break up will come from Hong. Something might happen to Hye jin like an accident of something and Hong will blame himself like he always do. He is the one with still a lot of self doubt.

I loved episode 10:1. The most important one - biological crisis executed perfectly. Tbh I was a bit scared that…
On your second point, when I was watching the break in scene, my husband watching his phone next to me raised his head, saw the scene and asked "is this supposed to be comedy? What's with that music for a fight scene?" 😀

So any theories who coukd be the pervert abductor? Anyone we know already? I started suspecting the young police…
Nope I went back and checked and his face was kinda showing and it wasn't the police officer. Also HJ saw his face when she caught him in action.

Yumi’s Cells” And “The Veil” Ratings Rise For Their 2nd Episodes; “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” Sees Dip…
Really?? What do they want to see for the rest of the episides if everything is resolved in 8th? I like that they are developing the characters, breaking from their good and bad outward personas in case of dusik and namsuk. That's what makes dramas more satisfying compared to movies in my opinion, the time they take to do it slowly

My issue with him is his attitude towards her, like he is trying to domesticate her and acting like she is arrogant…
Exactly!! He is free to refuse to help her but instead him treating her as a city bred spoilt brat for no apparent reason irked me. He is not as perfect as he thinks he is with that haughty attitude.

I thought it might have been Gam-ri ssi.
I think the police officer is the kind to keep it a secret if he had won a lottery. He seemed too dedicated to serving people openly. Dusik is certainly a good option, it explains the nice bachelor pad while working odd jobs. I thought it might be Gam-ri ssi mostly because of wishful thinking, i hope her son comes running when he finds out but she will end up disowning him :-)

Love the show so far, but episode 6 I found annoying. Oh Yoon's daughter is a pain and Hye Jin should not have…
Well, teenagers are a pain. I feel Hye Jin and her dad running for "oppa" and the following conversation was the best scene in ep 6. I was kinda getting bored with our leads until then, tbh. The FL's moods were givimg me a whiplash and the ML is irksome with his "flawless" attitude.

Ngl, the preview for episode 5 kind of threw me off. The part where now suddenly the male lead happens to have…
Not really all of a sudden though. They have been hinting at it for a couple episodes now, so I was kinda expecting it. Personally, I like it better that he chose to live in the country side and not because that's all he knows. I thinks it adds more depth to his character.
But otherwise, I see your point that it is feeding the ML stereotypes of kdrama. To be honest, i have been feeling it all along with his omnipresence and that holier than thou attitude he takes with the FL. I come from rural Asia as well and we have had more than one plumber 🙄

Title Nevertheless, Spoiler
Her choosing him was exactly what was stupid about the whole thing. To put it plainly her development was stupid…
I think they provided explanations to most of his possible cheating incidents as the series went on. Just because we want him to be a bad guy and victimize the other girls, he doesn't become one. Jaeon is surely guilty of not wanting to label their relationship and give her mixed messages but rest is all our assumptions at best and false accusations at worst.

Title Nevertheless, Spoiler
I did not care much for the webtoon to begin with, so I wasn't unhappy when the drama took a different turn and was even hopeful. But that ending was definitely not what I was looking forward to. It was not a question of whether PJE became a better person, because only the audience were aware of it ( or atleast guessed it based on his actions) , Nabi was not. PJE never verbalized his feelings for her, never explained his actions and never made promises to try and be better, and yet she forgives him taking her back to the beginning of the cycle. She is doing what made her happy doesn't cut it anymore because she accepted his terms before, happy for a while and then went through a turmoil taking us all along for a rife. So what changed for her? As for PJE, he still couldn't say "i have a gf" at the end even though he wanted "more than a vague relationship" with her? So essentially both leads scratched the last 7 hrs and went back to ep 3. That maybe realistic but it made the drama without a conclusion, I might as well watch a documentary. Season 2, you say? No thank you for me.

Honestly, I don't think this was as toxic as everybody is making it out to be. There were some questionable things,…
I agree. There are plenty of trust and commitment issues, not to mention miscommunication from both leads like many other couples in the world. While a healthy relationship it has not been, it isn't anything irreparable if they are both willing to take a chance and make the effort, which is the way for any relationship anyway.

I am not sure what message every one is looking for from a drama. What message did we get from Godfather movie? Also there weren't any explicit scenes showing Jaeon cheating on Nabi, although his reluctance to commitment and blowing hot and cold while being jealous of her with another guy -are all questionable. Even if we want to speak realistically, on and off relationships happen everyday everywhere. And some of them eventually end up together as well. Plenty of relationships in real life go through their fair share of trust and commitment issues before settling down. Of course, I still agree that the ending is bad because of no character development for FL, not because she chose jaeon but because I expected more communication and healing on both sides before they got together again....so they waited a looooong time of maybe 11 days for healing before accepting each other with no new promises, at least not verbally.
