I honestly hated jonggun and called him toxic at some point, but I eneded feeling happy for him and Jieun at last. This couple surviving really made me happy. He might have been lacking with his way of expression but his intentions weren’t ill. Stay happy 💌

phew, 3 episodes in and it feels like I watched 3 movies. It’s really deep but also very well written. Historical dramas really does it for me

yep the second lead was so uninvolved in the story, he was just her subject of interest, so I didn’t understand why people were upset. They’re probably his fans and just wanted to see more of him.

I’ve enjoyed this so much. The plot progression hits a sweet spot. If you enjoy youth dramas, like 2521, or twinkling watermelon, I think this would be just right for you as well. The characters are healthy and their dynamics are fun! I came with no expectations but gained a new favourite movie💌

No one said she’s ugly appearance wise, but having a straight hair is more aligned with the beauty standard/ it’s not very common in korea to naturally have curly hair. Also perms are more common in ahjumas and older country side women in general. I don’t think the movie is about “getting prettier”, like princess diaries for example. I’ve also outgrown this genre, and I think it’s outdated now in general. The guy she’s interested in didn’t exactly say that he doesn’t like her curly hair, it’s probably just an insecurity she had since people keep pointing it out, so she connected getting her hair permed to being more romantically acceptable. Anyways, it does get better, and the plot is fun and lighthearted. If you’re not interested then you don’t have to watch it, but if that’s what stopped you, I think you should keep going.
