Yep I still kinda see someone like bonhee losing patience with him if he continues to be indirect. Thankfully it seems like he can be more proactive when he’s actually interested in the girl. Also it seems like bonhee and previously Yeongkyung has been interested in his gentle way of speaking. He still has his strength. When I mentioned bonhee, I just meant someone who can show similar behaviour and not necessarily exactly bonhee herself. I don’t think things will work between her and Sanghyeon, plus her and mujin already seem to be doing great.

Everyone seems frustrated with Sanghyeon, and don’t get me wrong he is frustrating, probably to himself as well. One reason he failed to feel drawn to soohyun despite being a cool and attractive person, is the apparent incompatibility, that he probably felt even if he’s not aware of it. I can’t exactly say she’s “considerate”. She easily tells him “I’m frustrated with you”. I think someone who overthinks, and in the progress of understanding their actions doesn’t need someone who’s further frustrated with them, and makes them feel anxious and sorry, having to quickly sort out their thoughts so they can give explanations/excuses. Bonhee on the other side shows an example of someone who grounds him, and is patient with him. He’s obviously awkward and insecure but that’s not a sin, and if it affects someone it’s probably him before anyone else. I kinda see myself in him since I’m an introvert as well, and sometimes the link between your heart and tongue doesn’t work. I hope he doesn’t receive much hate after the program is over.

he’s the only one who’s taking the initiative like a man. He’s also very solid about one person and doesn’t use admiration of others to feed his ego. I’m wondering if it’s because he comes from a province. Anywho he’s an eye candy to watch!

He has the right to choose who to date, and if the age gap is overwhelming, he’s free to retreat. It’s a dating “show”, nothing is obligatory, and people have different personalities and approch to things. Don’t just run to judgements

I understand your point that they never mentioned that. I might have misinterpreted the preview. The might still discuss it next episode, we don’t know. I still think find it hurtful for minkkyung even if they didn’t tho.

See the thing is when I posted this comment, I am not discussing “their” marriage. I would be happy for them if anything. I am looking at the situation through mk’s pov who’s comparing their problems and breakeup reasons and what ys is perusing right now, and rightfully so.

I feel like the age difference are mostly so big. Maybe some of them wouldn’t mind it, but for sanghyeon who mentioned that he is taking this as a challenge, a 7+ years difference would hit hard.

I totally agree!! I’ve been thinking the same. The way he’s attracted to bonhee hits the same way. He finds her mysterious, and he doesn’t get much chances, so the deprivation and the mystery keeps him coming back to her. It’s always been that way on dating shows

Yes it is needless to say if it’s a principle you have for yourself that you want to get married early, that the person you’re going to peruse with fit that criteria. I do understand minkyung pov when it comes to this. If they broke up recently because he never mentioned marriage, and I’m quoting him when he said “he wasn’t ready to take that step”, it’s absurd to pursue the person who wants to get married asap. Intention matters.

Minkyungie 🥺Apparently from the preview, she heard that yooshik had mentioned that he does have plans of marrying Hyeonji (if they start dating, hyeonji conversation with her ex about early marriage for reference), which I think is all so rushed. One of the reasons Minkyung and Yooshik had broken up is because he never mentioned marrying her even though they dated for 9 years. The thing with couple rings too “You said you didn’t like wearing accessories”. If I feel this hurt watching it, I can’t imagine how she’s feeling! I honestly don’t want them together. I want her to break free from him

Can’t help but root for Sanghyeon. Even though personally I wouldn’t go for a guy with his attitude towards relationships (passive), I like how genuine he is.

I love how hyeonji delivered her points so clearly for baekhyun to understand. Like he said, he was probably just hearing what he wants. I cried so hard with him. The relationship probably hurted him so badly that he can’t help but sabotage his expectations of her. They both look so in love, it’s sad they have to let each other go.

I just find him brushing her body very weird, specially that she stated that she wanted to get back together. Like you said, he’s probably keeping her as an option, otherwise why would he talk to yooshik about it, it’s none of his business
