I think you’re missing the point why some people hate Mina Sue. They didn’t hate her because she pursued different…
ok fair I agree. The part where you said she’s sorry because she got caught sounds true to me. There are times where I thought she behaved better than the others, like how she would confront subeen about what she’s feeling, while he on the other side seemed attached and upset yet didn’t clarify anything to her, but then again it might be true that he felt humiliated that he didn’t even wanna give her input. I still understand some of the things she did but alot feels confusing actually specially when you put it this way. I don’t think everything she did out of spite tho, like when she said that to hyunjae. I noticed alot of koreans say that when they find things cringy, or when she made the twirl even though it was deaf toned. That singles inferno sword sound effects is sometimes unnecessary
My late honest reaction to s5:I honestly tried to hate minasue because everyone was raving about her even before I started the show, but I couldn’t. I agree that she did wrong at some scenes, but I just couldn’t understand the hate she got for perusing multiple people IN A DATING SHOW. What’s even funnier that goeun on the other side, that’s being pursued by 3 men, didn’t make it clear to the last minute, and had multiple interests, yet it was okay. Everyone’s also acting like the guy is theirs when someone “interferes”, when that’s what the show is about. Taking minasue and subeen relationship for example, if we expect them to be a pair just because they had mutual interest, then heesun shouldn’t have “interfered” either. She and subeen started developing mutual interest and from there she’s become sensitive about him. Everyone trying to lecture her about what she’s doing “wrong”, seungil, minji and even subeen. I think the way he turned cold on her for perusing someone else was getting to the point of being rude, but it was just looked over and they panelists called him “멋있어”? sometimes I really don’t get it
[contains spoilers, I’m on ep10] I really hated their whole misunderstanding and not being able to get together even though they like each other so much. A conversation would fix that. But I just realised that would completely ruin the story. I find it deeply relatable, even though it’s rhetorical, if you think about it, do rami is actually the hater inside our heads that tells us good things can’t happen for us, and makes us hesitate. In ep 10 she tells him to let her go so she can let go of her delusions. Do rami tells Muhee: “Your delusions are sad, because they’re too beautiful”. I think that touches on maladaptive daydreaming and how we imagine our reality to be different that it makes us miserable. It changes our expectations as well. I might be hating it but it’s sure teaching me something deeper than I anticipated
Dropped at the end of episode 2 when the FL was in the SMLs arms. I'm not wasting time on another long nonsense…
there’s w different love triangle tho lol. He obviously is in love with the woman he met on japan and still is. I’m hating this triangle as well so far.
on ep 4 so far I hated her being so visible desperate for him, it feels like exposure therapy to my own past experience lmao I hope the man could act up already
cried with evey. single. couple. Something about hyeonji two exs crying broke me down, specially Sungkyung. He tried so hard to stay tough but he failed
Ever since her first date with SangWon, Yeeun has been demanding yet disappointing. She went completely cold and mute after he honestly answered HER question about “how many people he’s interested in”. She was so obviously upset that he went about his day feeling wary of her. He even told her “I thought you didn’t like me, and we weren’t compatible”. He never actually told her that he has feelings for her, it was simply based on her own feelings that she pressured him and became sensitive to JiWon. Don’t get me started on her conversation with him the day before the day/night dates. She said that she’ll respect any choice he makes. She’s a textbook example of an emotionally immature person.
When wonkyu asked Jihyeon what made her heart flutter when she was with yooshik, and the way she replied explaing how he treated her kindly and put her first while her tears bubble up. Wow.. the feelings I got. My girl is so hurt and I get it. Hyeonji said the same too. Girls just wanna be treated softly and gently.
I’ve been waiting for so long
