Did JBZ forge the bridge because only lovers can enter? Or they are truly inlove?
I thought the same but I think she understands love in another manner so she isn't aware but the focus on JBZ 1st step is to show us, I presume, that he lead her to understand but I think she wouldn't have been able to walk without a trace of love. But that's just my presumption. After none of the other people could have enter the area of lovers. So this is a clue. JBZ is probably more eager to love than MY for different reasons. When she will understand her love we will probably receive a heartbreak from JBZ. I prepare myself 😂
Today's episode really show the layers of how both Ming Yi and JBZ's upbringing affect their view in the world.Ming…
I don't think she was sheltered entirely 🤔 force her to live only one life in one way is not what I call sheltered. She do trust in good nature but she lie and scheme to obtain what she need... So she is not really good good but that's nice to see a more gray woman character instead of the usually liar ml 😂 I'm curious to see how it will end. But I do agree with you about the clashing personalities between them about trust issues 😂

It seems more likely Ming Yi isn't aware of her love yet as she is focus on survival but tiny aspects of the story reveal she has also fallen. It's just not her priority yet. She don't take time to understand herself.
Coming here, grieving with you all. I'm still so sad... T_T I hope where is he now, he find a better world in…
When I watched Ten Miles of Peach Blossom back then, his way of playing was calming in the middle of the turmoils of emotions the rest of the story brought to me. Each of his screen time were a comfort candy. I hope light will come for him and shadow around his end will fail to hide the truth.
I don’t know what’s going to happen (no spoilers pls), but I’d prefer a sad ending for this one. I don’t…
Yeah it is, but many content aroung lgbt+ are sad because at the beginning the mind behind it was " you will not get a happy life, so hide it, change, go heal yourself" society pressure in medias, in many countries. Maybe we are tired to see this tacit way which is no more tragic just a biased opinion. Other romances get an happy ending more often, with epic love story. Well if you can have an happy ending in a romance with a dragon, I bet you can find a way to write an epic happy ending with two male/girls leads x) so it's important sometime to show that epicness is also in the way of "how to defy fate, society and everything to LIVE, not just the path to grave or tiny compensation in your dreams" . I get the frustration of people as a writer, I love tragedy but I also know when time comes people need also to read hope.
yeah, agreed, a traditional HE in this story would not be satisfying. Duan lost his mind in one episode, and shown…
If he was a bloodthirsty tyrant he would have killed all the prisonners instead of release them. Words have meaning as much as action. Shuhe and him have both evolve. None of them deserve each other if we just overlook the story and pretend already the end will be bad for both. But Shu He say it he don't know if he lied to him or himself, and Duan admit that everything he made for Shu He finally end up hurting him. So both of them are aware of who they have become. In many toxic relationship, people think that what they are doing is right. Here, it's not the case, they tried to turn the tide. slowly they understand themself. Happy end for relationship depend also of which direction people make their brain and heart goes. if you tend to think there s no hope, then you will not create either the opportunity either the way for it. Duan did not wait for hope, he has gone take it, because Shu He saw no hope for them so he closed himself, unaware of danger around him, full of guilt and grief. While now he start to understand maybe there is more than meet the eyes and get out of his shell. Duan may be over obsessed with Shu He but far from just a tyrant on a throne.
I felt the same, that 3rd person narration + music combo did feel a bit rushed and it definitely took away from…
I agree. It did suprised me but after watched many historical drama I didn't want to watch such long speech and battle scenes before we find them again, dealing with each other x) they could had made an ellipse and show "years later" but better the way they choose to show us Duan going on rampage for love aha
