Since I don't watch The King's Avatar (the trailer doesn't interest me) and I know Butterfly Blue's other novels are all about gaming. This makes me wonder too if LoA will be good as a historical drama. Unlike Mao Ni who wrote all historicals like The Nightfall (adapted to Evernight) and Joy of Life I know his novels are good and I will watch any adaptation of them. So we'll see how this goes, if the production team adapted the novel better or worse.

I do not read the novel since it's only translated a little and the story begins with Lu Ping and Su Tang's story. Then meet the other guys in the martial art school then later Qin Sang. Actually when I researched about the novel, it doesn't mention that the genre is romance, neither when this drama database was created. So I think the drama is changed from the novel with more dose of romance, for fan service. Which is kinda disappointing for me. Can we have a drama that is just pure action or adventure? So whether the creation of the three couples are in the book or not I don't know, since I don't understand Mandarin to read the whole novel.

I checked iQiyi with the native Pinyin, even using VPN, but can't find it. I also use the key word "chef" to broaden the search, still can't find it. I know 2 episodes out without being a VIP member.
