1. I think all three cos in the end HYX asks MJJ to destroy the tape.
2. You meant when HYX when back and trapped inside CYR mind? Probably because she pretends to be HYX or she is not sleeping or unconscious?
3. Not dies in every loop. The first one she is hit by a car but doesn't die. CYR commits suicide by jumping but before that she is holding glass shard when MJJ tries to talk to her.
4. You can rewatch the scene: right before CYR falling down HYX takes over her body and quickly she reaches to MJJ's hand and he pulls her back.
5. You mean the extra scene? It doesn't tell about CYR where about, probably in the end she doesn't end up with MJJ. Why is it awkward? LZW recognizes which one is HYX and which one is CYR, so does MJJ

Yes I agree with you regarding message of the story, cos the writers got professional advices from psychologists to tackle the mental health issues in this drama. I also read that lots of viewers contacted the team and said that they can relate to CYR. Not every teenager grow being positive/assertive/outgoing like HYX and LZW.

i don't think they were always together in term of romantic relationship, since that will be considered pedophilia, lol. That's why the drama ends like that without extra scene. Probably just acquaintance/friends.
I also don't think LZW is able to help the original WQS cos the key to time travel in this drama is longing/desire to see someone (the original title meaning). HYX for LZW, LZW for HYX, and doctor for CYR make them able to time travel. Nobody knows the original WQS, even LZW who occupies WQS doesn't know him beforehand.

What happened was the ending episode was leaked by the Chinese and pirated with alternative endings, so that's the intro stated. Since this drama was already made a while ago, the team gathered Alice Ke, George Hsu, and Patrick Hsieh to film this extra scene for a closure to the viewers as thank you, but I think also to end the piracy. It's interesting how the whole team is dedicated for this drama

Have you seen the extra scene the team produced after they filmed the drama?

1. The killing/accident scene happens before the burning tape. The burning tape basically undies and/or prevent bad things happen on CYR, MJJ, and LZW.
2. LZW and the little HYX become regular friends for a long time until he is 28. The production does not 'force' a romantic relationship between a kid HYX and a teenage LZW as this will become cringey (pedophilic). Without the extra scene, although it's a bittersweet ending but give promise that they will be together. With the extra scene, fans get a closure that they are together finally cos that is his 3rd birthday wish. I think dating a senior highschooler that will be in college soon is more acceptable for a guy 10 years older.
3. Don't need season 2. The burning tape ends everything.
4. They keep promoting in their official site because the production team basically broke from overbudget so they can't afford massive promo to mainland China (the biggest Mandarin speaking market) like the Chinese drama production co like Tencent etc.

Burning the tape erases every memory/event that happens. So it means HYX never dates WQS. Anyways, the real WQS dies before LZW takes his body, so the real WQS never knows HYX. It is all along LZW dates HYX before he 'dies' (or come back as his real self). CYR never commits suicide or murdered. MJJ never goes to jail. LZW never gets into car accident and becomes crippled. But HYX and LZW are fated to be together anyways. Remember in the picture they share the walkman with red cord? Red thread tied to a couple means fated love as per Asian beliefs. In this drama the red walkman cord tied HYX and LZW together thru time travelling. In the end HYX (17) is with LZW (28). This is the little missing girl HYX who LZW meets when he is teenager. And in the last scene where he gives her a ride and tells her he never forgets her, they become long time friends until the extra scene (LZW birthday) that now she is 17 and he is 28.

The story is quite interesting, time travel with parallel dimension, where FL can see her future self. This drama is not 5 episodes, should be more cos the ending of episode 5 is not an ending at all. Some pictures I found in the internet are not anywhere in the 5 episodes, so I know there should be more. Good sub. Hopefully more will be upload soon
