I am of the same view and hoping for a HE with Lord. Yes lords’ actions were unacceptable but it’s not all driven by jealousy and possessiveness. Plus like you said from recent trailers Lord understands what he has done and let her go but also train bodyguard to protect her. Why can the FL regret her actions and want redemption/forgiveness but not the ML? Didn’t the FL complain people still judged her for her previous actions no matter what good she does now.? It’s clear the main CP is FL and Lord. Whether they have a happy ending together is another matter. Seems FL doesn’t love ML enough to give up her wish for a peaceful life. ML unable to relinquish his responsibility as Lord or would he if he knew she loved him? Would be such a waste of
time if it’s all a dream. What was
the point? I don’t have an issue with the dream arc if they allow sufficient time for the reality arc to explain and for everything to tie together. But so disappointed only last episode will be when FL wakes up. So much screen time for
bodyguard who doesn’t exist and barely any for ML character development or backstory.

As I said every character in the show is flawed. Bodyguard isn’t as obvious because FL created him in her dreams. FL is no saint so why does she deserve better than others? FL blamed her parents for not raising her and her brother properly, not reprimanding them leading them to be who they are. Lord has been raised to be master of the manor, make decisions and control and protect his people. That’s what he is used to, so why does his character deserve less than FL? Or his actions judged so harshly. One wrong decision and that’s it? What is FL trying to do all this time? Redeeming herself, driven by her fear of death and saving her family, and wanting people to give her a second chance. Not saying Lord’s actions are acceptable but neither are the FL. From the tidbits we’ve seen Lord seems to understand FL better than anyone, has tried to help FL where he can, pretended to like MY to get her out of FL way when she was married to his adopted brother, he blocked her from the hot soup and if Lord hadn’t rescued FL in episode 1 where would FL be? What else haven’t we seen the Lord do for FL?

Which is why I am ok for FL not to be with Lord if he doesn’t fit her ideal and unable to overcome social obstacles. No issue with bodyguard accompany FL as a loyal companion but not love interest which is the problem I have. Seems weird to me because of how they setup FL and bodyguard interaction from the beginning. I expect Bodyguard to always be there for FL since FL created him for that purpose. Probably because in real life she thought she had no one like that to depend on . Although Bodyguard hasn’t always done a good job at “protecting” FL … gets beaten up by ex hubby etc too easily 🤭

Curious as to why she says “3 times” and not 2 times. One is in real life and one is in her dreams so what is the third time? 🤔

As some have mentioned I don’t understand the hate for Lord when his actions may be disappointing but not irredeemable and likely driven by a number of reasons not just jealousy but also misplaced concern. It is still centred around FL compared to ex-hubby who can’t decide between FL and MY and is more concerned about his reputation. Characters in this drama are not perfect, all have flaws including FL. People have forgotten FL is trying to right her wrongs yet continues to try and hide what her family did. Drama did Lord character dirty by not giving him enough screen time to see his point of view and his development. This is FL’s dream and therefore FL’s wish and interpretation of events.
I admire FL trying to make amends and take a different path but it’s double standards if FL can’t understand or forgive Lord’s actions. For love FL drugged ex hubby and pretended they slept together. For love Lord wanted to remove bodyguard from FL’s life.
I shipped FL with Lord from the beginning, there was chemistry in their interactions. But right now I am fine if she doesn’t end up with Lord. Neither are perfect and it’s not a matter of FL deserves better because given what she has done and all the things Lord had done for FL it’s not clear to me who doesn’t deserve whom. However I don’t want to see FL develop romantic feelings for bodyguard just to follow novel ending, that FL settles for bodyguard even though still has feelings for Lord but can’t overcome the obstacles. Isn’t she capable of being on her own and doesn’t need a man? The setup of their master / servant relationship didn’t allow room for FL to be romantically attracted to bodyguard which now feels rushed and forced. Plus bodyguard doesn’t exist in real life so no point rooting for him.

Yes I haven’t read the novel but heard in the novel
she ends up with the bodyguard. So was only referring to drama. Personally I don’t think it’s a question of FL in her dreams choosing the bodyguard over Lord in a romantic sense but rather she doesn’t pursue relationship with ML because of all the obstacles and wants a peaceful life. Bodyguard is there as her companion not a love interest. Guess consolation for those shipping bodyguard is to go read the novel ☺️ I do hope we get to see more backstory of Lord to understand his thoughts/feelings and everything he has done for FL. At the moment it’s all FL’s point of view.

Thank you for sharing this. I am happy my predictions have been confirmed but there’ll be some very disappointed people based on recent comments. At least they can stop hoping bodyguard is end game although it was pretty obvious from the promo, pictures and trailers that Lord is end game and plenty of clues that bodyguard was a character Fl made up in her dreams. It was more a question of whether FL and Lord get a happy ending or open ending.

Looks like 2 groups of assassins. One from MY (with Wu’s assistance) testing to see who XLY would choose and other from the lady who wants to marry ZXW (Lord) and it’s this group of assassins who wanted to kill FL but brother died saving FL. Looking forward to seeing FL take her revenge.

I don’t believe it’s a question of who FL will choose or which ML is the end game. The promos and scenes clearly show ZXW and FL as CP. FL feeling towards bodyguard is not romantic unlike with ZXW. The question is whether FL will choose to have a relationship with ZXW given the obstacles of her background and ZXW’s status or a quiet life in the country. This dilemma is in both dream state and reality. Only difference is in dream state she has a bodyguard (who doesn’t exist in reality) to accompany her who is loyal and will follow her even if she doesn’t want him to. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is an open ending which C drama are notorious for but better than if it’s a bad ending. Still hoping it is a happy ending with more scenes of them together though 🙏

It was My own hair pin not the maid’. MY used hair pin to attack WSM but he disarmed her and kept the hairpin as a keepsake because he is in love with MY.

Beginning of episode 14 when FL dreaming and can smell incense again. Also in schedule calendar there is a picture of ZXW carrying injured FL from episode 1.

Yep FL is dreaming whileZXW is looking after her. Just hope it’s still happy ending for ZXW and FL.

Beginning of episode 14 with the scene of FL in room full of incense and ZXW taking care of her pretty much indicates FL is dreaming while in coma. Although can’t see his face you can tell by his voice and clothes as well as the fact his family makes incense so would know what to use to relieve FL pain and revive her. Plus picture in schedule calendar of ZXW carrying injured FL from 1st episode. Shame since this means she didn’t get to redeem herself and bodyguard doesn’t exist. But I am shipping ZXW and FL so can accept all this is a dream if they get to have a happy ending otherwise I’ll be so pissed to invest all this time for a dream with crappy ending. ZXW is so devoted to FL.
