I dont think they have the official announcement yet but the filming has started. There are rumours booting ceremony will be held on Sept 12th. Though, filming location is in remote area, the screenwriter updated her weibo that the place is so isolated that you have to travel for hours if you want to buy something from shops.

From what i gathered in weibo, shujinrenjia is a confidential project. Besides, most of the actors rumoured so far are very low-key and secretive. Some fans said the team is waiting for auspicious day/date to make official announcement.

MDL got most of casts wrong in the profile. It's Jing Chao from Warm and Sweet this year, and Princess Silver. And it is Chen Xiaoyun from Thin ice this year and Novoland Pearl Eclipse. Plus, Zhou Jieqiong, from Miss Truth. Besides, Liu Haibo as the director (The Rise of Phoenixes).

Another actor has been added. Li Xinze, he probably will play Zhao Xiuyuan. He acted in Love and Redemption before. Btw, everyone revealed so far all has great acting skill🤭

I hope this drama will win some award. Idk but the director, the art director, and Seven all have either won/nominated for Magnolia Award. Besides, this drama is promoting Shu Brocade art and culture. It is sponsored by Sichuan Province government if i'm not mistaken (Seven Tan is from Sichuan). I wish they stick to the historical points of the importance of Shu brocade in Tang Dynasty. Shu brocade was valued as much as gold in the past during Tang Dynasty. This drama will probably touches about silk road trades too.

I think we all do. 2 of her costume dramas are my anticipated drama this year. The trailers and synopsis look good. Especially for it being a high budget, it must be high quality. But i wont hold to much hope now since i heard you can be jailed for reporting a false case in mainland. Apparently, CCP is ruthless to anyone who play with the system, so if the whistleblower is reporting a false case, you dont even need Song Zuer to sue him/her herself, CCP will punished the reporter themselves for reporting a false case. The whistleblower already took a big risk exposing themselves when reporting the case especially of a public figure. They can get jailed if the case is false and no evidence found.

That one actress last year was Yuan Bingyan right? She paid her tax as an actress, but her company where she is the CEO has unpaid tax. Yuan Bingyan is not exactly blacklisted by c-ent, she is just soft-banned, and her dramas are aired late. Besides production is afraid to take her on new project because of the risky title. Song Zuer's case is not yet cleared, but apparently she has 4 shell companies listed under her name and rumoured yin yang contract? Her studio should give immediate clear explanation instead of the silent treatment so that she is not embroiled in any more rumours

Actually i think Seven Tan's acting skill is recognized in mainland as she has received acting awards in almost all her roles in dramas. She has many hit drama characters. She's just taking the low-key route that's why she's rarely on weibo hot search or accumulating traffic . Besides, she also seldom attend red carpet, events, promote cp, or variety shows (she rarely on hot search but when she attends award show, variety show, released pictorials, announced new drama, she'll be on hot search). She usually just acts. She dont get into controversy either. Just very low-profile.

Is it starting soon? I think i saw the screenwriter's post is joining the group, and Seven was spotted at the same place as the screenwriter. Seven also posted her vacation is over yesterday.

He was the second male lead in The Starry Love with Chen Xingxu and the prince in that just released chinese movie. But i still think Chen Muchi is the second male lead in shujinrenjia. Imo, he suits the White King, the Prince of Nanzhao Kingdom.

When is this movie out? Is Li Yan a high schooler?

If you compare Road Home and her past drama like The Fox's Summer, or Go Ahead, I'd say she looked more mature in Road Home. Seven in the Fox's Summer looked like someone who just reached 20 years old. It's not a bad thing, she just honestly looked like a teenager for years before
