There are rumours seven is communicating with modern drama which might turn on mid August. Though Seven is participating in charity works now, and she has brand event on on Aug 12th? Plus, rumours of her self-produced songs. But i think Seven can fit in a short duration modern drama if shujinrenjia is really starting late.

This drama is taking too long to boot. Rumours said Q4. Seriously? Seven wrapped up abay on early june, if shujinrenjia started the earliest on october, that means Seven wasted 4-5 months? She can finish shooting a drama with 3-4 months

Now i just need to know which platform is this airing. I've seen Tencent, Youku, and MangoTV.

I'm actually praying they could turn on the group early. Wishing the new director can settle the investment issue faster. Or whatever issue holding them back.

August is perfect if you ask me. Q4 started on Oct, that's wasting 2/3 months already. But looking on the bright side, Q4's weather is more comfortable for filming costume.

I think this cake is settled to be Seven Tan and Zheng Yecheng. I'm very excited🤗. I indeed imagined both of them as ml/fl when i read the novel🤗. The director seemed to Liu Haibo and Shen Yan. These directors won many awards before, and their works are matured and sophisticated. They mostly work on TV series.

Drama name might be changed to ShujinLu/ Shu Brocade Records. Very high possibility for this drama to air on mainland TV channel. Even better if it could air on mainland major channel CCTV. Seven has drama aired on CCTV 8 before, and Zheng Yecheng has drama aired on CCTV 1 this year. I hope they could settle everything faster so the group can boot quickly.

The acting was beautiful😭😭😭. Both leads have solid acting skill. They are so natural in their roles, that i have hard time getting out of this drama when i watched this long ago. I'm saying this as someone who have hard time finding satisfactory acting in c-drama. There are just a few young actresses who meet my satisfactory acting standard and one of them is Ni Ni after watching this drama. The others are Zhao Liying and Tan Songyun.

But i also got to say Chen Kun is phenomenal in here. He nailed the sick, smart, cunning, charismatic character so well. He makes me pitied his character the whole drama.

I watched this long ago, they never said who fall in love first. But you can see both leads are attracted to each other. Subtle and beautiful

One of the important cast have been blacklisted/banned? if i'm not mistaken. I dont remember who, i just saw jbr's fans talked about this drama in another platform

If the director is indeed changed to liu haibo and shen yan, then this drama is really a full track TV drama promoting art and culture. Liu haibo and shenyan directed Rise of the Phoenix (one of my favourite drama) by Ni ni and Chen Kun. Liu Haibo also mostly worked on TV series and Tang dynasty art and culture. This drama is truly moving on star drama direction. Production houses also mostly worked with TV series only. They also choose Seven who has back to back star drama. Maybe they really planned shujinrenjia to be a star drama. Besides, i heard this director is a Magnolia Award nominee/winner?

(About limuge, i heard he signed a contract to yuekai agency, so he probably will mostly work with yuekai produced drama. I guess idk. Yuekai is YY and WCR agency btw, and they have a new in-house drama production coming up).

Tbvh, this novel is not popular and the chapters are too long. There are pros and cons for unpopular novel. For pro, there are not many hardcore novel fans like Jinxinsiyu or ABAY, so less expectation. For cons, there are not many fans of the novel, so investors are lacking too. Plus, most popular and rising actors are all fighting for big and famous ip.

UTP itself was not a famous novel, but the drama launch it to fame. The novel is good though, the writer was just not popular prior drama.

I just hope shujinrenjia is the case where screenwriter give justice for the script and plots. I hope the drama turned out excellent more than the novel. Though shujinrenjia author is quite popular and her novel has been adapted to drama several times already.

The plot is indeed. But then which plot is not old-fashioned. Even all xianxia dramas have similar plots. The difference is the acting skill and believable script.

I'm just trusting Seven at this rate that she wouldnt take crappy script. She can take bigger ip, after all she has been rumoured for many big costume ips, but she still choose this drama.

She must have a good reason. Though one of her reason imo is shujinrenjia can be a TV drama promoting culture. She'll make it work

I dont mind that much if shujinrenjia is a medium budget drama cause all Seven's hit dramas are low budget. She can turn tables with great acting skill, good chemistry, and eyes for script. Low budget drama looked high quality with excellent acting skill.

I just hope Shujinrenjia is a star drama. Kinda want it to air on cctv like destined so more people can see her acting in costume drama on TV.

I wonder when this will start shooting? I hope they start booting in August the latest. It has been almost 2 months since Seven wrapped up of the last drama, and she dont have anymore in stock if ABAY air.

I hope As Beautiful As You will have a full blast beautiful soundtracks. I want something k-drama ost thingy like My Girl, Goblin or Itaewon class and Start-Up. I want Zou Shen or Yisa Yu to sing something heart-wrenching, Mao Buyi for ballad, Liu Yuning for uplifting, and of course Seven Tan for cute ost.

I'm amazed at his acting skill despite being a child actor😯. He might be even better than some adults acting skill

Before this escalate further, i think it is necessary to put end to this matter. It already happened. The filming has wrapped-up, let's just hope for the drama success. The reason why the filming accident was not notified or filming get cancelled because Seven put most important on the filming.

She cared for the drama. There is no use fighting here. Most important is the drama's success. Let's just stop any escalating fanwar. If anyone has any energy left, let's just use it to promote this drama. As for the rumours, i hope there is no longer bad rumours circulating since there is already clarification. Let's just wish this drama best and hope for Seven's smooth recovery.

Ikr😔. It was even injury on face. I read that she was injured during early abay filming. She had to leave the group for treatment. How can they let the actress injured during filming😭. On face even. Plus, nearing wrap up filming, she also got rashes bc of the adhesive tape used for kidnapping scene. Seven has allergy for the adhesive tape type used. She was injured more than once on face during abay filming and people made up terrible rumours for her. That was sick😭

Allen deserved those big projects, though it also has something to do with his background. He is signed with big company, he is considered the first brother of his agency. His agency actors include Chengyi, Zhang Yuxi, Crystal Yuan, Yangzi used to be in the same agency back then before her contract expired if i'm not mistaken. Their agency produced many in-house costume drama production. They also bought many big ip costume drama. Plus, allen's used to be an idol. Idol has more traffic than pure actor. He has the resources and connections along with big fandom and acting skill, that's why he can act in s+ budget drama.

I also wish Seven can act more in costume drama. I hope she acts in another costume after shujinrenjia
