Low budget drama can be phenomenal. Under the Power, Unchained Love, The Starry Love were all low-budget drama. UTP was suppressed for almost 3 years before it is released. When it was released online, there was no publicity at all, until the drama exploded online, only then MangoTV pick up to promote the drama.

I like both girls, idk if you are troll, but Tan Songyun has received so many awards for her acting ever since her first leading role in With You 2016, or when she was just a supporting role in Whirlwind Girl. I like He Ruixian too, but if she is really great in acting, then maybe she would already have received award for her acting.

She never signed to any entertainment agency, so no one ever given role to her by agency package or in-house drama production. She also dont have big agency connections so she just have to audition for roles. She auditioned for her first leading role beating thousands of contestants to become Geng Geng in With You 2016.

Seven might be lacking when you compare her beauty and physical with all the c-actresses, but that's what make her special. She dont have all the privileges c-actresses are known for, tall, slim, classic beauty, high nose, big company backing you from behind, marketing traffic from agency. All what she has now, she relied on her own strength to get it. She use her acting talent to audition for leading role. All her dramas received great results, do you think all of those are coincidental?

No, once maybe a luck, but Seven has proven herself since her first drama. People in China even still remembered her small role in Legend of ZhenHuan when she only appeared for a few episodes. That's because her acting left great impression. Her role in Whirlwind Girl was supposed to have little lines, but because she left great impression, her lines were added in Whirlwind Girl Season 2. Now, I like He Ruixian too, but you just step on Seven Tan to praise He Ruixian. And Seven Tan has come this far relying only on herself without big company backing her.

Haha you're right. Ryan Ding is another baby face actor🤣. Seven indeed look the best with baby face pairing. I like ZYC bc i pictured Yang Jingyuan as him when i read the novel, but i dont mind with Ryan either cause i heard he is a skillful actor too. Luyi-Jinxia cp is truly at the top of Seven's pairing chemistry. Other than their acting skill, their baby face played vital point to the cp aesthetic😂. I cant believe they were both nearing 30yo when they acted as Luyi-Jinxia, cause they looked like teenagers in the drama😭. Jinxia looked 18yo while Luyi looked 20yo at most😭. I'm waiting for Jixing and Hanting cp in ABAY. I hope it'll be a contender for Luyi-Jinxia. It has been a long time since i got this excited cause Seven has been pairing with older actors back to back. JBR in RH is Allen's age, but he looked his age unlike both Allen and Seven. So, i'll take anyone with baby face.

The casts new stills look promising. I found it funny that Seven used to work with He Ruixian in Go Ahead while Xu Kai with Gao Han in several dramas especially FIYS. And they are both second male and female leads here🥺. I love the new stills so muchhh

Tbh, i like her the most in whirlwind girl. I think her and wulei couple is more interesting than the main characters. She is adorable in With You 2016 too. I just cant pick one from her drama because everything is great. It's a shame she dont have many costume drama cause i like costume drama the most. I was just watching her casually in UTP, but her acting hook me. Then i got into pit of watching all her dramas🤣. She saves me time from choosing which c-drama to watch, because hers are all great.

It'll be great if Seven's past supporting role co-stars like Du Yafei, Pang Hanchen, and Huang Shengchi can act in Seven's new drama with bigger role.

I'm not sure, but i think it's probably because she has to start from the very bottom in the new company if she were to quit. Plus, if you watch more episode, you'll see she has issues with her mom. Her mom is against her becoming a pilot, and was forcing her to become a lawyer like her since she was young. She applied for pilot academy behind her mom's back, and she has this obsession with proving herself right. She is hard-headed and has strong personality which she probably took from her mom because her mom is similar. You can see that Cheng Xiao dont like to quit from challenges, she will take any challenges head on. Besides, imo her obsession with proving her capability for everyone is probably acting on (she has that issue from her mom).

Seven Tan is really good at picking scripts. I got into her pit just because i like her acting in one of her drama. Then i started watching her other dramas, and all are excellent. Her acting is solid, and her scripts are believable. I cant even pick one because all her dramas are great in its own genre.

Btw, i am proud and touched that Seven took this drama despite of all her fans fuss. It shows that she has firm thoughts and free will. Imo, she values freedom a lot, thus why she never signed to any companies, so that she can pick scripts that she likes without being forced by company or higher ups to act in a drama. Not even fans blackmailing her to drop the drama can force her to drop script she likes.

Plus, i believe in Seven's eyes for scripts. She has never disappoint through her entire career. All her dramas are good😄. Sometimes ago, after Go Ahead i was doubting her choice for the Sword and the Brocade, Flight to You, and Master of My Own, but she proved me wrong. The Sword and the Brocade was tencent top 3 most viewed web-drama for 2021, Master of My Own and Flight to You both has high cvb rating 0.83 and 1.88 for satellite tv and cctv respectively.

I am sure As Beautiful As You has good script, thus why Seven is firm on her decision. She is very picky with drama script, that is one of the first thing she consider when she accept drama. The script has to be believable for her to pick it up. One of the most reasons why i am waiting for As Beautiful As You because I know Seven has eyes for good script. I know ABAY will be a great drama🎉🎉🎉. At least, i hope the director dont make unneeded cuts.

I saw rumours male lead is not Zeng Yecheng but Ding Yuxi. At this rate, i dont really care anymore😭. I just want Seven's costume drama. I dont even care if male lead is non-traffic actor or unknown actor, i'll know them after they work with Seven anyways. As long as they can act and good-looking, all is good. There are so many underrated actors anyway. If they can gain recognition after they work with Seven, it'll be even better.
