I remember with Rising with the Wind, 90% of the kissing scenes were removed and ended up being seen on the OST MVs. I hope the director doesn't do the same thing here. Like in Rising with the Wind, the kiss during the car scene was removed, so that part didn't have the same impact compared to what it could have been if they had kept it. I hope he doesn't do the same thing with this drama, because if he does, then this will become something to expect from him with his future projects π
It looks like her new drama will be Dual track almost 90 % certain. For ML the one rumor said it was He Yu ,other-…
Since she's already in Thailand, the chances are high π rumor has it that it will be confirmed soon, followed up with the drama's first day of filming π
Guys, please donβt take this as an offense. My intention is to understand the unique appeal of this show. Itβs…
There are so many reviews on both tumblr and twitter. There was one I read the other day that was pretty spot on, but can't find the link at the moment.
For me, the humor is just up my alley. I don't think the humor is for everyone, but after laughing so hard again and again, I was sold. A completely different experience from when I was reading the novel, so it's like I'm experiencing the same story in different ways. There's also a sincerity in the storytelling that I'm picking up. It's not just making a drama for the sake of it and getting money out of it. So far, I'm sensing that the production cares, and the cast cares, most especially the two leads. For me, the sincerity comes off the screen. I'm hoping it carries on to the last episode.
And like I've said before, the stories in books and movies are the same, one way or another. I would read the same genre over and over again. The difference will always be on how it's told. This drama here, right now, is crossing all the boxes for me. It doesn't have to be the best drama of all time, and I don't think that was their goal. But it's apparent to me that there was heart in making this.
I remember reading the manhua back in 2020, but when the translations were discontinued, I was really disheartened.…
In the novel, it was always Ziqi's eyes that tell on him. Even if his body is not moving, his eyes are always saying something else. I thought then that an actor who expresses through his eyes would be best, and Ryan's eyes fit Ziqi β€οΈ while Miao Miao has high EQ, she makes it seem like her actions are simple, but there's always a reason behind them. Esther fits Miao Miao to a T. π
Yes, really hoping for it to be on Viki too cause I'm wary to buy a subscription for this when Wetv always trolls…
