I was thoroughly hooked, and cried in some parts. I loved it more than The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage. I would have liked a more fleshed out ending though. Lu Tong's life was not for the faint of heart. Discovering her self after everything she went through was satisfying. And from my interpretation, it was pretty much love at first encounter for Pei Yun Ying. The progress of their relationship was on point, and how he had come to understand her character then become completely devoted to her was swoon-worthy β¨οΈ
The 1st episode trailer is already sooo cute!! I don't know how Esther does it every time, but she is always convincing, and sells her characters to a T. π Lin Yi also looks great as his character π
Really loving this drama so far, the pacing is a pleasant surprise. I'm only on episode 8, but really hoping the pacing stays the same, and if it does then the 40 episode count will be a treat. π
I just watched Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. And I adored her. The only thing that bugged me was the "cute" falsetto…
I find her so talented. She brings something enjoyable to every character she portrays, and she changes her vocal tones accordingly as well. Even with all the OSTs she had sung, the color of her voice switches for the song's interpretation. If you haven't seen My Journey to You, she did all her stunts in that drama, and made her speaking tone a hair lower. It's not her normal tone, but she pulled it off admirably. She is a versatile actress, indeed.
