Do you have any recommendations? ?I’m also trying to get into romance jdramas but don’t know what to watch. I don’t really enjoy dramas with super, annoying and unrealistic characters x)

I haven’t watched either of them! :O But have come across a few clips of Forever Love on YouTube and it seemed sweet! Just scared it will remind me of my first love, so I haven’t watched it :p does it have a happy ending?

True! Yes, the original ending was heartbreaking :( My way of coping with it is believing the alternative ending is how it actually ended xP or else I would have a hard time moving on! It is a nice drama though!

I loved Goodbye my princess as well, I agree it’s definitely a must watch, with a great and refreshing cast! Wasn’t trying to criticize you, I’m sorry if it came out that way. Just clarifying to the person who asked that it is not a lighthearted drama! Oh, by the way, did you watch the alternative ending to Sleepless Princess? It’s a happy ending (I was also upset with the sad ending, but the alternative ending made me way happier)! :)

I understand all of the other recommendations, but Goodbye my princess is certainly not a romantic comedy and I would also not recommend The Legends as a rom com. GMP does have funny moments in many episodes (if it didn’t it would feel dull and contrived), but it is quite a tragic and melodramatic story... an amazing story though, its one of my faves.
I agree that Fake Princess, Su Yu, the romance of Hua Rong, The love by hypnotic and the romance of tiger and rose are great recommendations in this genre (period drama rom coms with sassy female leads). Also recommend Love better than Immortality if you haven’t watched it ;)

Bwaaa me too!! I don’t want to see her character have a sad ending again. I’ve watched Goodbye my Princess 1 year ago and I feel like I’m still recovering from the heartache it left me with! She is such a good actress

The second half of this drama was so underwhelming in my opinion :/ I liked the main actors though, still think they did a good job with what they had
