I wonder if they’ll have the same ending as the film. Very rare in Kdrama’s where the bad guy gets away with everything.

Honestly I feel a more devastating ending would have been both being alive but never being able to see each other again. That honestly seems more painful. Everyone predicted a death but both living and not being able to see each other is a different kind of tragic fate.

Damn only 8 episodes. Idk if that’s confirmed. Ideally I would’ve liked 10 or 12. 16 is too much but 8 might be not enough.

Is there romance in the webtoon?

They shouldn’t have marketed this a romance because it really isn’t one. Not in the way something like Youth of May was. Snowdrop is a political thriller with a romance subplot that isn’t even well developed but it’s what got people interested in the drama.

Sad ending doesn’t mean bad ending but I understand why people are upset. But I feel most people saw this ending coming.

I don’t know if anyone will even do it, but I’d be genuinely interested to know if Kang Moo has more screen time than Young Ro because it certainly feels like it. Not even a bad thing though because I like that character quite a bit.

Hands down the best drama I saw last year. I still think about it. May have to rewatch it soon.

There are some loose ends. I can definitely see them make a second season if this does well.

Exactly. The way some people bully people in this drama is so inhumane they don’t feel like characters but caricatures. Their only purpose is to be evil.

I’ve never seen bullying irl, like how’s its shown in dramas. Some of these kids are absolute menaces.

The drama is the definition of mid. Just nothing special at all. Not bad but nothing standout either.

Ngl, when this drama started I didn’t expect it to be a hostage situation for 90% of its run. Not a bad thing just unexpected. I mostly think it’s good, and hopefully they stick the landing.

Somewhat boring after ep 10. A lot of repetition. The story is a bit thin to be 16 episodes. After ep 12 most of the problems are resolved. It’s fun but I don’t think particularly great. Reminded me a bit of the 2014 drama Discovery of Romance though I thought that one was better even if it’s rating is lower.

Rushed ending that was “happy” but not satisfying imo. The two leads were great and I enjoyed all their scenes together.

There will be romance but it won’t be one that is typical of a Kdrama cause it’s a noir and those usually have “cold” romances.

If there is a second season, bring back Cheong San back somehow because he was the best part and I think you can still bring him back.

Well Yoon Chan Young was definitely the mvp for me in this. I’m a fan and can’t wait to see what he does next. Park Solomon was also very good. I think the FL was miscast or just not well written. Idk there were some weird choices with her character.

That’s such a great pick for the ML. I would love to see him do a romance drama. He had a great guest appearance role in our beloved summer and would love to see him paired with Shin Hye Sun.

I surely hope there’s no romance plot or if there is it’s not a lot, but you never know.

I’m 4 episodes in and Young Joo seems more like the main character than Ki Joon. Honestly I like his dynamic with Seo Young a lot more already. The main leads are fine, maybe just a bit plain.
