Lee Sang Yeob is a very good actor. I first saw him in Love Affairs in the Afternoon which was one of the most unique Kdrama’s I’ve ever seen. It was a wonderful, melancholic drama. I also liked him in Good Casting and Eve even though those dramas weren’t that great. Happy to see him as the ML here. I hope the drama does well.
Why would you market this as cutesy romcom if you’re gonna go for that ending? You can tell the scriptwriters are novices based on how off the rails this gets around the half way mark. Taec Yeon is a good performer but his choices in dramas are always hit or miss.
Kim Joon Han and the actor that plays the fl’s eldest sister’s husband act really naturally. These are two people people you’d probably encounter quite a bit irl. Petty, egotistical and stubborn. Awful people but so very naturally acted. Great performances in this drama.
Does this have cheating? When will the FL break up with her bf?
At the end of ep6, she calls him to break up with him. He has a hard time accepting it and forcing awkward situations but she’s done with him and never lies to him. She is always honest that she has moved on.
The pacing of this show is so quick it’s exhilarating, the cat and mouse game and back and forth battles. I will say that character moments are minimal so you don’t really get attached to anyone in the drama. ML is on top form here. Carries the show.
One of the sharpest scripts I’ve ever seen from a Kdrama. Smart, well-written characters portrayed with nuance and elegance. A rare drama where good and bad isn’t as black and white like most Kdrama’s present. It’s so good it really makes you wonder what happened in Season 2.
I just started this and honestly the comedy is actually so funny. I wasn’t expecting to laugh as much as I did. Ok Taec Yeon has such good comic timing. The pacing of the drama is very dragging but I think the leads have chemistry so that makes up for the slow pace. I was expecting a brooding drama like Bulgasal but this is a super light easy watch. Not great but very enjoyable.

He truly is underrated. He was a force in Nobody Knows. One of the best Kdrama’s in recent memory. Can play either a hero or villain so well. Would love to seem as a ML soon, especially in a crime drama.
Good drama but 9.1 is insanely high. The ending is half-baked but the set up and the middle sections were great. For me I’d rate it like 8.5/10. Villain was very charismatic.
It was pretty good but pales in comparison to the British one and the HBO one “The Night Of.” The Night Of in particular was a masterpiece but this was an admirable attempt. The cast was excellent here.
I don’t know if it’s because I saw True Beauty before this where the fl is a student, but I couldn’t buy her in this role. To me their chemistry didn’t quite click. It is one of the better romance dramas that has these crazy thriller subplots. Some genuinely creepy scenes.
The definition of mid. Leads had better chemistry in their Drama Korean Odyssey where they weren’t even romantically paired. The execution of this drama leaves a lot to be desired. A misfire unfortunately. 8.1 rating is very kind. This is like a 7
My favourite part of this drama is Oh Jung Se wardrobe. Loved the turtleneck and gray coat.

More scary than Revenant imo. Very effective jump scares and I loved the gloomy, bleak atmosphere. The teamwork amid camaraderie between the leads is everything. Loved their growing bond.
Drama is better than the rating suggests. A bit draggy but strong chemistry from the leads. Better suited for 12 episodes. FL is a good actress. Hope to see her in more. ML is always good in everything. Looking forward to his next drama. Hopefully something dark like his last work The King of Pigs.
The main pairing here is fine though I still think the ML (though handsome) is very wooden. FL definitely did most of the work this drama.
