Just completed ep 2, fl ex boyfriend words are so accurate, she has no facial expression and has no empathy. She approached the ml with an agenda and is willing to go to any length to achieve it even if it means deceiving ml into a fake relationship. Anyways at the end of 2 episodes this is how it looks like and I don't feel like continuing it any further.
This is seriously underrated, at first reading Synopsis I also thought it would be like other drama that had similar themes but this one is different and unique. There is not a single boring moment and keeps you engaged all the way. I would rate it at 8.9 at least. By the way there is a correction in Synopsis, ml is not losing his eyesight but have a hypersensitive vision i.e. he see's the world more vibrantly than a normal person does, like a difference between 480 and 4k.
Watching FL feels like dragging my IQ down. Just completed episode 2. The forensic doctor clearly told her death was due to poisoning due to cocktail of two different medicines but there she goes claiming death as result of assault. Further the forensic doctor himself missed the pills in victims clothes. I can understand that he failed to detect the crushed medicine powder in carpet but to miss the pills in pocket of victim clothes that heights of sloppiness. This scenario was enacted just to give FL scoring points for taking her heels to get checked. It's like a diligent and regorous forensic doctor was dumbed down to make FL look good.
In last few episodes after fl switched the firm there is an abrupt shift in her character, she is totally a changed person and that killed what little romance was there in the show. I wouldn't have been surprised if they choose to break up in last few episodes. ML may seem controlling during earlier episodes because he was inexperienced in love and didn't quite know how to express it, but after they confirmed their relationship he became submissive all the way. This show is best portrayal how people change, the same fl who before quite like ml care for her when she was inexperienced, now that she has gained experience feels ml care as disrespect to her.
It had the vibes of one spring night and still didn't feel repetitive. I liked every second of it. Han Ji Min have always played dominant female role that is not just about bossing people around but rather the type that earns everyone respect with hard work and she excels at it. Add to that the build up of subtle romance and there you have your recipe of star drama. P.s. I have always liked drama that shows characters slowly falling into love rather than just being given a lousy flash back of their past.
FL character is childish & off putting. The younger version of FL was much more likable than the adult one. Story content wise it's nothing new, a tried and tested formula used in many other dramas. The story progresses exactly same as title i.e. enemy to lovers. Conclusion: a bit overated.
Once they confirmed their relationship, the fire just went out but still better than most. I quite liked comedy vibes throughout the series as it balanced tragic situation suffered by seok ryu. There is less of a romance but more of healing vibe throughout the series i.e. a no stress drama. One good thing is there's no trouble from both the ex's, both lead kept their distance from their ex from the get go.
Excellent drama, it is less about time travel and more about lack of communication that deteriorated couple relationship and time travel is used as a means for them to realise their own shortcomings and resolve their relationship but this does gives an interesting twist to what otherwise would have been a normal story.
Damn I am a bit unnerved by ML, he is too perfect knows everything, does everything. Let me list a few he is a doctor, is an excellent cook, is a voice actor, can sing, compose, do post editing, he can even sketch, plays basketball etc as the episodes unravel his new talents keeps coming out. In any profession whichever it may be to reach a certain expertise you need practice and experience. For one person to be good at so much thing is near impossible.
I've also seen comments that she's mature...WHAT?!?! She's literally one of the most IMMATURE 30 year olds I've…
Finally, after scrolling down so much I see a most reasonable and objective comment. I was fed up with comments above like what the heck is wrong with these people are they blind or what.
If anyone has seen my lovely liar drama then let me tell you this FL is way worse than SFL in that drama.
Such high rating, everyone loves it but let me be bad one here. That one moment that ruined the drama for me when FL goes to ML house take initiative get intimate with him, ML asks her if she had thought it through and whether she will regret it later, she agrees that she will not. Now they were in the moment when she suddenly gets upset and blames ML for forcing her. Now where I am from this sentence from her could get ML hanged. You may or may not believe this also happens irl and many male have been either blackmailed or convicted for this.
Being disabled doesn't mean you get some kind of immunity to abuse others. The words she said were to easily dismissed in drama.
I hate Eun Seong guts. And what's with dumb situation after she lost her memory, this is digital age and there were many press articles relating to her and Baek Hyun Woo. I understand her mobile was lost in crash but what about backup. Most of all why was she inclined to believe in Eun Seong more instead of her family. I mean if she had to doubt she should have doubted him as well. The drama lacked a suitable SFL despite Baek Hyun Woo character being so perfect how can there not be a SFL.
