Everything was well and good, visuals were fantastic, plot was good, acting was awesome (all characters) but after the end it somehow felt hollow, I myself am not sure how to describe this feeling.
P.S. : Guess that one character who reminds you of AOS. Its pretty easy to guess who the actual villian was.
Some people in comments are stating ml as irresponsible but forget he has no obligation to raise his brothers child who abandoned him at orphanage but still he seems to do a decent job despite that, on the other hand is fl who raised by her loving sister, though assumes legal guardianship but dumps the child on ml most of the time. If only there had been a proper sfl.
After so long I got to see a masterpiece, I thought with change to just 12 episode format good drama were going to die out and it felt true after watching 4 to 5 of such dramas but here we are, a well developed plot within 12 episodes only.
Satisfied especially with GYJ, her character reminds me so much of AOS 2, similar forwardness in pursuing ml. Just love the plot and her alt character, for a moment I wondered whether it's going in direction of kill me heal me.
Am I the only one who didn't like the fact that in initial episodes the previous team members of solo are guilt tripping Han Shang Yan to reconcile with them and deliberately trying to frame him as a petty person. In ep 10 he saved Ai Qing from street ruffians but what did he get in return, it would have been better if he had left her deal with it herself what an ungrateful b...h.
Just completed my third rewatch and still can't get enough of it. Now I have started to notice how good side characters are specially Sang Yan and all of Sang Zhi friends who always gave her good advice.
I think she’s not unbearable, her reaction was understandable. If we try to put ourselves in her shoes, she’s…
What about the time she went against her father's wish when she joined ml's company and did you see her reaction the first instant ml's identity came out and her father was rushed to hospital. You are forgetting one important fact that ml didn't know that his father had any kind of connection with fl family, so is he required to reveal his whole unrelated history to fl. You could then counter argue the same that fl didn't tell him how her father got injured in first place. Also previously ml gave her his pocket watch that had his picture with his father also showed her old design's of his father signed in his initial's this shows ml never intended to hide anything. The problem with fl is she lacks a sense of crisis as there is no sfl.
What a horrible plot ml mother marrying his father's murderer and that fl damn too selfish. How I wish there to be a sfl to put the fl in her damn place. The only redeeming quality of the drama is ml's smartness in how he endured and planned all his life to expose his stepfather. Further I am still not over the fact that his mother had no remorse in marrying his father's murderer (That women only had eyes for money).
PS: Fun fact after ml's identity is revealed fl cut's off ml from her life buttt she doesn't resign from ml's company.
I am waiting to watch lin yi again in a normal romance drama like love scenery but he has since then opted to work in diverse difficult roles which is admirable but can't give same level of satisfaction.
After "The Best Thing", I thought this is it, the peak of satisfaction and nothing will ever surpass it…
My initial impression about He yu acting skill was wrong, which I realised after his character's accident in drama. After the accident I felt like he became better at expressing emotions or maybe it was the character requirement all along.
After "The Best Thing", I thought this is it, the peak of satisfaction and nothing will ever surpass it but here I am proven wrong, the thrill of racing with romance turns out to be a deadly combo and add to it the amazing soundtrack and an awesome Esther Yu acting and the most important no filler episode.
I have my doubt about last scene being a dream, the reason being Sunwoo Hae's sister in earlier episode made changes to closed sign but in that last scene it was restored to original.
A tried and tested plot, nothing new or engaging. Not recommended if you have already watched lots of drama but newbies will find it good. Plot is very similar to Legally Romance and it was way more engaging than this is. The only thing going for it is kissing scenes.
honestly I liked the ending it being all a dream was perfect for me I would have liked it more if they just went…
Getting together in original timeline is entirely plausible when both dreamt the same thing, which in turn makes every moment of dream timeline a real experience for them.
