Studio On Saturn (Jeff's company) took over the Thai side of the project from Be On Cloud, before they even started filming it. It's been filmed and they decided to re-edit it to make the episodes longer. The South Korean production company had other projects in the pipeline. Some of the BL actors have said in interviews it's not uncommon for series to sit for years before finally being released.

I thought Hyodo Katsumi was good in it, but overall the storyline kind of let it down. Maybe it would have been more interesting if they had Haruto and the street kids living in an abandoned building inside the redevelopment area or at least something more than just the typical fight against corporate greed that they went with.

I know sponsors have been a bit more selective in the projects they fund, but boy is this telling if the whole thing is self funded and he doesn't have any offers for season 2.

Last week I said this could have been 1 season, 16 episodes, 4 episodes per couple and been the better for it. Someone argued that it couldn't because the source material is like 40 chapters. I still stand by my original comment because 40-some chapters means nothing if there's nothing worth doing and week after week it's rinse and repeat with little / no progress. The Hill / Ter storyline has dragged on for 10 episodes now and it's no different than what episode 2? Either the source material was already weak to begin with, Wabi Sabi did a terrible job in the adaptation, the production ruin it, or all of the above. You can tell some of the actors are trying their best with that they were given, others it's obvious it's a "meh it's a paycheck" project.

Pond and Earth have got to be one of the worst BL casting pairing I've ever seen. There's no chemistry, their intimate scenes look awkward and that NC scene looked like Earth was terrified Pond was accidently going to fall on him and squish him. I REALLY hope this is just a one-off pairing for this project and next project Pond actually gets a decent script and a partner that fits him better.

12, the final episode airs today so netflix will probably release the last 6 episodes after it airs.

There was the scene were Qi Lu saw him sitting and drawing and they looked at each other. Then the credits played and after the credits there were several more minutes of the episode that showed them back together, etc.
