possibly as a way for both of them to get an answer to what happened because there has been times that Phop has looked scared of Nuth and he's figured out it has something to do with his ex... although considering the rest of the series so far I think getting that deep is giving too much credit to the writers since pretty much everything they've done is raindrop deep.
