Whelp at this point the only thing that hasn't been said about this series is that ChukChuk shits out better turds that what they've done with this season. lol
Soo.....am I the only one that half expected them to cut to the CGI tiger pouncing when Diao was running towards Yi at the beginning of the bedroom scene?? lol
It was nice seeing the Uni gang back again and honestly their little mission to stall the wedding was pretty much the best part of the series.
Whelp...the last scene of episode 7 was at least a crumb of a crumb of the chemistry with those two that we got all last season so I guess that's something.
I hope some good production house or TV channel rope Kimmy for as good series, I fear he will sign with GMMTV…
Studio Wabi Sabi is very hit or miss with the quality of their productions, granted not nearly as bad as star Star Hunter Entertainment.
Kimmy just won Mister International this year which should net him even more modeling jobs than he already gets so he would need a talent management agency that also has that aspect and global appeal to it as well.
This really needed two more episodes at least to finish it off properly. If it gets a movie cut, hopefully they'll add in some edited out transition scenes that gives more of a sense of length to their journey.

If GMMTV ever signed Kimmy and they thought of putting him in a BL lead role then they would have to sign someone else specifically to play opposite him because they really don't have anyone that would fit.
I think he would do well to either set up his own management or even sign with a purely management contract so that he could continue to work with any production company he wanted to. Actually I think he would do really well if he signed under Bright and Cloud9, and I wouldn't be surprised to see more artists from GMM end up signing under Bright once their contracts with GMM expires. I think for some the GMM model works and I think for others it's more of a hinderance than a benefit and I think Kimmy would be one of those better off not signing with GMM or any major production that requires exclusivity.
Jom really said I'mma show everyone once and for all how you do a complete scorched earth and then nuke the hell out of it just to makes sure nothing got missed. lol
This is the one Friday series that NEVER disappoints.
I REALLY want a spin-off series where James is the lead so we can get his story. Kim might not have much screen time but when he does, he commands every scene and we always get just enough of James to make us want more.
Episode 10 and Perth finally got to spread his emotional wings a bit....too bad second couple syndrome this episode completely obliterated that. The rooftop scene with Guy and Nava not only had more chemistry, more emotional punch, and more emotional complexity In their scene together than Perth and Chimon have had together the entire series.
Get Perth on the football pitch, on the bike, in any flirting scenes where he's the only one flirting, in any of the heavy emotional scenes and you really see him come alive. The more this series goes on the more of the disconnect their is between and of those scenes and the majority of the rest of the scenes. Perth excels at BL roles and he easily could have said no to doing any BL roles when he signed with GMMTV and they would have let him considering past experiences, so this isn't a he didn't want to do another BL thing. Whether it's something with the production or just isn't gelling right with Chimon in this partnership there's definitely something off about it, and it's not something that's getting any better the more episodes it goes in.
That very last scene almost showed a spark of potential and it might have been there in the raw footage, but the edit really killed it before it caught.
--------
This should have been a Saifah X Name centric series with Sailom and Kang as the secondary couple. Maybe that would have given them more time to gel better than what they are or more likely would have given them the insight to realize they that aren't a pairing that work well enough for a full series, etc.
I think in the end the best thing they could do is what they've been doing with Ohm, Gawin, and a couple of the others and keep doing partner swaps either for every series from now on or until they find one that really gel together better.
This is definitely one of the best series Studio Wabi Sabi have done production wise, unfortunately the mental gymnastics needed to get your brain to shut off enough to forget everything wrong with the plot completely negates most/all of the good.
If you're adult Soon you and you get to go back in time, you inject yourself into Ongsa's life until he trusts you, then once it gets to that point you tell him the truth, tell him things that are going to happen (IE if you go to the movie by yourself you'll see younger me sitting in seat g-6) so he knows you're telling the truth, and then finally you tell him about the accident that's going to happen on their tenth anniversary so he can prevent it from ever happening. You know since meeting your past self is never supposed to be a good thing and to be avoided at all costs so it's not like he can just go tell himself what's going to happen. Somehow we're supposed to believe the grand plan to prevent a singular accident is "Hey I know I'll just make sure he and I never meet and that'll solve everything!!" when this is someone he supposedly loves so much that they've been together for ten years!?!?!? NO, JUST FREAKING NO!!
Then of course this is also all ignoring one simple fact.....ONGSA ISN'T DEAD!!
I don't care about the whole age gap thing in the scenes between Ongsa and Older Soon, as long as their two consenting people of legal age who cares if there's an age gap. That being said, Older Soon isn't even acting like he's there to stop them from meeting, it's more like he's trying to get / let Ongsa fall in love with him....you know because that's really going to make him want to never meet younger Soon, fall in love, etc. because you know there's no way he would ever want to get that feeling of loving Soon back again......just F'WHAT!?
This is where you insert all of the this plot is like butter scrapped across too much toast, plot is thin as rice paper and breaks apart just as easily, etc. etc. here. It tries so hard to be clever and instead it just shines a spotlight on everything that is wrong with the entire concept of the story.
There's a few foundational concepts with time travel like avoiding your past self, etc. but other than that the whole Time Travel thing as a story line is wide open with possibilities and all of those possibilities "It's better if we never met because I love him so much" is what they decided to go with.
I think you liked this episode much more than I did. But until I read your comment, I didn't even realize Oliver…
Piecing together what they've said about it in the past, the funding for their production was a combination of using their own personal money and from donations. The pandemic decimated their personal finances when they couldn't work and because of the pandemic and on-going global inflation the amount of donations has severely decreased while the cost of production has severely increased.
Because they focus on BL content they aren't eligible for government funds / credits and because the BL genre is so small in Vietnam there aren't any brands willing to sponsor them.
You....complain......holy shit I'm shocked....that never happens....lol :PZeke should have been sleeping shirtless…
I sent you a DM with a list of some that I thought were good, should last you a bit and you shouldn't have any trouble finding some you like from that list.

I'd say one of a handful of Thai BLs this year that hasn't been disappointing, but there's been some good ones from the other countries.
But yeah to answer your question that is one that I am currently watching.
