Yall!! Im finna complain😤😤 But yall are used to me at this point! Was that first scene with FiZeke not the…
You....complain......holy shit I'm shocked....that never happens....

lol :P

Zeke should have been sleeping shirtless when Fifth came crawling on the bed with the rose and used it as a way to ummm.....stimulate Zeke's body err I mean "appetite" instead of the whole....hey let's pass the rose from mouth to mouth and then toss it aside. A lot of their relationship seems to have regressed this season instead of progressed more. There's nothing wrong with a healthy dose of sexual innuendos in a relationship, but it's more like they were having a contest with Joel on how could really go over the top with it. There's just no balance in the way their doing their relationship this season compared to last season where yes they were a couple of horny teenagers fucking their brains out every two seconds, but it was also balanced out with the more mature aspects of a relationship as well.

Title Only Friends
First, Khaotung, Neo, and Mark yet again proving not only that they are the true stars of the series but that they are also on a whole other level acting wise from the rest of the cast.

GMMTV was either incredibly smart or incredibly stupid with one main part of episode ten and that was every scene with Mew and Boeing. Book and Mond had more chemistry together and were much more natural together in just their few scenes together than Book and Force have had in now several series together. Either GMMTV was testing the water to see if they successfully change that working couple, or they serious fucked up in giving yet another glaring example of Force and Book not being a good working couple. Not only did Book and Mond have more chemistry together but Book actually looked alive in his scenes with Mond, not just some lifeless parrot reading off lines.

Ton and Nick have been fucking their brains out all series long, this episode they finally make love. Neo and Mark deserve so much praise, along with the rest of the production on just how perfectly that scene was done. They really made sure that the emotional change was front and center and left no doubt on how they feel about each other now.

There's nothing that needs to be said about Saint Sand, he's once again proved he is the patron saint of patience. lol I loved how Sand at the end just let Ray go on with his emotional break down and just sat there silently. First did an amazing job of having the emotional expression in his face and eyes and the silent understanding that the best thing for Ray was to just let him go on.

Force was yet again relegated to let's either have him sitting there silently or with his shirt off to distract from the total lack of chemistry between him and Book.

Boeing just just straight up flipped the pot instead of stirring it ands that was definitely needed to shake up the god awful Top X Mew scenes. And yes Boeing, when you showed up at the wakeboarding place with your shirt off just like Mew, we definitely forgot about the other guy. lol

This just might end up being the one GMMTV series that doesn't have the dreaded episode 11 curse because at this point WTF could they possibly do that hasn't already happened on the regular in this series. The only thing that comes to mind is perhaps Atom continues with his night of curiosity regret / revenge and things escalate and blow up for Ton.
On Our Story The Series Oct 14, 2023
Another week and unfortunately another chance taken for them to completely destroy the characters even more. At least episode 6 actually gave a few decent crumbs left amongst the mold that has been this series.

The spa scene in episode 6 part 3 of 4 finally gave us the Fifth X Zeke moments that made everyone fall in love with the characters last season. They were cute, flirty and not in the obnoxiously crude nothing but sexual one liners way, and actually expressed realistic emotion. That whole section felt like it was written and directed from people completely different to the rest of the episode and the rest of the series. The Zeke X Fifth breakfast in bed scene wasn't completely terrible and even had some goofy / cringe moments that were actually cute, but then like usual they pushed it way too long and it lost all of what made it funny / cute / cringe in a good way.

The Kevin scenes this episode also felt like they were written and directed by someone different as well, it actually felt like he genuinely had feelings for Zeke and there was a real hint of his desperation to win Zeke over that's been sorely lacking in previous episodes. As I've said before, Kevin always needed to feel from the start like Zeke leaving broke him emotionally and mentally, there needed to be this overwhelming desperation to get him back into his life, no matter what it takes. It needed to feel like he could snap and go to a very dark / dangerous place at any moment, and the stress / fear of that being what put the strain on Zeke X Fifth's relationship, not the ridiculous BS we got with Fifth lying, going behind Zeke's back, etc. that we got.

I have nothing against Jason X Joel fighting over the same guy, hell we all know that happens irl, but the way they're writing it in this series is terrible and goes against everything they set up last season. There's no way they would risk their friendship over Oliver, especially after everything he put them through last season with all of the bullying, etc. I think what they should have done was have Jason and Joel both be interested in Matt, who was more of a bystander than anything last season and story wise they simply could have worked it where he was afraid to be outed if he stuck up for them last season, but seeing Fifth's video gave him the courage to put himself out there. If they had went with this, then they could have had Oliver actually be interested in Matt as well and he goes back to bullying Jason and Joel. It would have allowed for much more realistic tensions between the characters and Oliver could be behind things that would put a strain on Jason and Joel's friendship.

Yet again another episode of let's try to make Kim, Jelai, and all of the other ten billion side characters that should have disappeared last season relevant. The one new side character that I do actually think was a good addition is Kendra. She's the only new side character that has actually had any relevance to the main characters so far, and could be that slightly older/wiser sage of advice that Zeke and Fifth could go to because she understands the challenges that LGBTQ go through more than Sky's mom, etc. does.

This isn't a script, this is a brainstorm / first rough draft that never should have even been remotely considered anywhere near ready to be shown to anyone, let alone actually filmed.

Well.....no dead fish kisses yet.....there's always a chance Ming gets drunk and tries to kiss a mirror.... lol
On I Feel You Linger in the Air Oct 13, 2023
The way Nonkul and Bright just melt into each other in ever emotional scene together....you know, completely unlike the GMMTV shaped elephant in the room that is neither Dangerous nor Romance.

Every character including the freaking support characters twice removed have so much depth to them. Yet again Sir Knight James rides in to save the day, yet again Robert proves that some people are far beyond redemption and that Yai's father again proves he gives a shit about nothing but power...all the while his Majordomo is looking at him like they've been secretly bonking and he can't understand why his master has a problem with his kids bonking their same-sex partners.

Poor Ming-a-ring-ding and his eternal hangover is going to be hearing bells for months after that slap, all of course for doing the right thing. James may be the knight in shining armor, but Ming is the poor knight that really saves the kingdom and no one ever knows.

Now they just need to get Robert out in the middle of the forest somewhere and let Fong Kaew teach him why Smokey The Bear exists... after she's turned Robert into a crispy critter that is. lol

Don't worry dear sweet Jom, Yai's olive oil will always belong to you and you alone...

Yeah no one messes with Grandma so it would definitely fit giving her a background like that. Either that or really go with something no one would expect since she screams "Old Money" and have it where she actually grew up in an extremely poor village along the boarder where there was a lot of illegal trade so she learned on her own because she didn't want her safety to be reliant on anyone else.

I used to write a lot for fun and then would just toss it after I was done without anyone ever reading it. I'd spend a few weeks really writing out character profile sheets, etc. and then just go from there and mess around with the same characters and write different stories for them, toss it all and then do it all over again just for the fun of it.

You know what, just for good measure since the name of the series is Dangerous Romance and there's nothing dangerous about it so we really need to make up for that....

Once Saifah or Name take the bullet instead of Kang's father, it's actually Grandma that shoots the would be assassin...Her husband was military and taught her how to shoot because he wanted her to be able to protect herself if the need was ever there while he wasn't around.

Whoever wrote this must have gotten a peek at the "Our Story" Pinoy BL script and said to themselves....well if they can get away with this trash why should we bother....where's my check??" lol

Personally I don't think Perth knew what the hell to do with this script, even his original work was better than what he was given with this and yeah I agree, neither of them seem to be into this working couple they were put into. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Perth can so naturally and easily make us believe that his character is really in love with the other male lead character....that's definitely not the case in this series at all.

hummmm.....

Nava and Guy were looking for a secret place to screw because they've been secretly dating for awhile now since the night at the club and they accidently stumbled onto the place where the mafia guys were telling Saifah and Name to off Kang's dad because he would be bad for their business if he got elected so Guy and Nava filmed the whole thing, including Name and Saifah refusing. That's how in the end the mafia guys got busted and how Name and Saifah were let go by the police after one of them taking the bullet for Kang's dad.

How's that for you? lol
On Dangerous Romance Oct 13, 2023
Perth shirtless in the bathtub and the bed being all hot and bothered should have made your pickle tickle...both those scenes were more like soggy ramen noodles.

Episode 9 just proved one thing, this really should have been split into two separate 6-8 episodes series with a cross over. The first being "My Lovely Tutor" and the second one being "Dangerous Romance". The "My Lovely Tutor" should have been a much better version of what we've gotten so far and the second series being Saifah being forced to work off his debt, falling in love with Name as they were partnered to work together, and then when they're ordered to go after Kang's father they refuse and end up having to run from the mafia. Have either Saifah, Name or Sailom end up getting shot saving Kang's father and in the end they all end up working for him. boom series over.

Instead what we've gotten so far is 9 episodes that have no idea what they want to be and a pairing that has less chemistry than the most heavily censored Chinese bromance.

Two episodes in and please tell me this is already getting a second season...5 episodes of these two is definitely not enough. The Japanese BL series this year aren't just running circles around the Thai series, they're just straight up murdering them brutally. This is already another perfect example of what happens when you focus on the story and the characters and not trying to feed the merch machine.
On My Personal Weatherman Oct 13, 2023
This isn't a series you just merely watch, it's one you have to really absorb. With every action, word, and thought having multiple layers of subtilty, if most BL series are as deep as a drop of water, this one is as deep as the ocean. This is one of those series that only managed to work because of the two main leads and they performed it to perfection.
On Absolute Zero Oct 12, 2023
I still think it's a good series so far, but they are spending a lot of time on setting up older Suangsoon being back in the past.
On Across the Sky Oct 9, 2023
Poor Sky has no idea the Pear shaped nuke that's about to drop and blow up his world. lol

Chalarm dude get a clue, she's just not into you. you want to be able to take your mom away from you're asshole father, yet you're turning into him with the way you're treating Kwan. Diamond is really playing the character well, you hate him, he makes you want to root for sky even more, yet you know just enough about his motivation to know while he might be going about it in the wrong way, he's letting desperation override morals. That makes the character even more interesting and you want to see how he'll develop. Most of the times the villain is a very shallow character so it's nice to see one with some depth.

You could watch any episode of this series with the sound off and in every scene know exactly what Sky was thinking / feeling just from the facial expressions and the look in Boss's eyes. This is something even veteran actors struggle with and he does it so easily and it comes off so naturally.

For the way it's going so far, this is going to be one of those series that no matter how many episodes there are, it's never going to be enough.

Episode 1 has subtitles now. Three weeks late, but better than nothing; hopefully other episodes will be subtitled…
The fact that they subtitled it at all is awesome, hopefully this means the series has gotten enough international attention that they saw the value in doing subs. One31 has been doing subs for their BL series a lot more recently as well so hopefully this will be the trend from now on as they typically have good series. Considering how much time, effort, and money goes into official professional subs I don't mind if it lags behind a couple of weeks.

This project continues to show more of a complete story in two episodes than other series do in 12 without it feeling rushed and without all of the unnecessary manufactured drama for filler. It's a good way to see who works well together, who doesn't, and which pairing has potential but needs more development time. GMMTV and the other production companies should take note and follow suit instead of giving us series after series where the leads don't work well together just because they want to push merch.
