And actually, it would be worse if they didn't pick those outfits, as that would be a deliberate attempt to rewrite history.

You're assuming that this "cultural theft" was deliberate - personally, I highly doubt this, and as Chiang Mai was part of Myanmar around the time this series is set, I think this complaint is a bit moot... If anything, it is historically and culturally correct, and If I were you I would be more worried if they had NOT used those costumes as that WOULD be a deliberate attempt to rewrite history, which is much, much worse.
And whilst I fully understand and appreciate the sentiment, I find the whole cultural appropriation thing a little bit odd. Cultures for millenia have intermixed, shared food, music, writing, dance, language... All of that is to some degree appropriation. No culture evolves in isolation.
I don't know where you are from but suspect Myanmar based on your comment, so I understand the emotional response (I do). However, what I can tell you is that you also have multiple cultural elements that have come from other cultures (near and far) that you just don't know about or don't think about. Be that Chinese, Indian, Tibetan, Persian, Egyption, Greek, Arabic - or more recently from other nations like US, UK, Korea, Japan. The same can be said for those cultures. You have given things to Thailand, and they have given things to you.
People need to calm down with the whole cultural appropriation thing. All cultures have shared, adopted and exchanged ideas for as long as humanity has existed, and it continues to this day.
I have roots from a very old culture, one of the oldest on the planet, one which arguably has made some of the most significant contributions to humanity, and if I went around trying to identify everything that has been "appropriated" by other cultures I would do nothing else for each second of my life. They are going to announce the cancellation in a few days
They're not going to cancel something they have spent millions of baht to produce. At most they may delay it for a week or two to address any "concerns". To be honest, I'm not sure the Myanmar market is particular focus of GMMTV, but they will likely come out with a statement at somepoint before airing the show.

Listen to yourself. Get a grip. Also, as far as I’m aware, he’s stil around. Still performing, still singing, still acting. He’s just not an official couple with Dunk. Basically, you don’t like him, you like the artificial pairing.
The sad part of all this isn’t you don’t even appreciate him as an artist. Just his relationship with Dunk. In a few years you won’t even care about him or even remember him 🙄
Keen is fast becoming one of my favourite GMMTV artists. Gorgeous and talented in acting, singing and dancing. I hope GMMTV appreciates what they have and give him recognition.
Slow as in nothing of any significance has occured in the past 3 episodes. The story is not progressing. You could skip them entirely, pick it up again in the next episode (8), and you would have missed nothing and be none the wiser. Is that explanation enough?
