it's gonna take me a while to move on from this series. it was exactly what I needed at exactly the right time…
The show isn't bad as such or badly acted, but it's messy - as are many of his other shows. He generally employs an "oh, it's decent enough, let's just wrap it up" approach to his work.
Overall, I enjoyed it - despite its messiness at times, and it was nice to get another SeaKeen show. I think Keen in particular is quite a talented and a natural actor. I believe he is very underrated and underutilised at GMMTV. I hope he gets more exposure and opportunities going forward.
H2H is still a gazillion times better than 2gether, which, for some unfathomable reason, is seen as some kind of gold standard in the business... Now there's a vastly overrated show if there ever was one!
So, trying to persevere with this... but nope, it's just bad.
I was considering not commenting altogether (again), as all you get is the fandom coming after you calling you a hater. But since everyone is gushing over this I though I would somewhat balance it out.
About 90% of this show is completely unwatchable - the level of CRINGE is astronomical!! It's just so, so so cringey... and completely unfunny at that.
I am racking my brain trying to understand what people see in this show that they find so amazing. The characters (especially Thee) are so incredibly grating and unlikeable. Perhaps these types of characters are common in countries with these types of soaps, and are enjoyed - but completely lost to the rest of us. So I suppose if you are not into or used to these types of "lakorns", "telenovelas" and cheesy soaps I would seriously avoid this like the plague, as it will just annoy you and get you into arguments on this website. ๐
This would have never been greenlighted over here. It would flop within 2 minutes of airing. Actually, it would flop as soon as the trailer was out. Just goes to show how vastly different tastes are across the world.
At the end of the day I suppose this wasn't made for me. But it certainly has been an eye opener in regards to cultural differences.
If any of you out there feel the same but are drowned out by the noise, just know that you are not alone ๐
Not seen any official statements from GMMTV so the assumption is he is (I hope so!!). He's had wisdom tooth removal surgery recently so has been out of action for a few days.
Only thing I really want to say is I didn't like how Jinn forgave his dad that fast, for a father leaving his…
Agreed. I suspect they ran out of time to expand on this. I wish they'd shoot the number of episodes required as opposed to an arbitrary number to fit a schedule.
why do you keep watching shows you hate? come on! drop it
No, I definitely don't think anyone is faking their enjoyment. ๐I don't know about rating anything a 10 though, I would find it difficult to give any show a 10 (not just BLs). I mean the perfect show? Does that even exist? ๐
People seem very generous with their ratings! I must be getting old and cranky! ๐๐

Don't worry, I don't think you're trying to change my mind. It's just a discussion at the end of the day - none of this needs to be taken too seriously. We're not discussing human rights violations, it's just a BL show. I'm not here to change anyone's mind, it's just banter, exchange of thoughts and opinions, and general chit chat with other fans.
I didn't really start watching this because of Est and William, in fact, I didn't even know either of them were going to be in it. I generally do not subscribe to any particular couple(s). I do have some favourite actors and couples from GMMTV, but that doesn't mean I exclude other shows.
I will mainly watch a show based on whether I think it sounds interesting. Sadly, it didn't quite work out with this one, but I still enjoy some aspects of it. However, I fully appreciate that others will like it, and I'm not here to prove them wrong.
Voicing a negative opinion or giving negative feedback on something does not mean you're trying to undermine anyone else, or be evil or nasty. A wise person once said: โThink not those faithful who praise all thy words and actions; but those who kindly reprove thy faults.โ In that spirit, I believe negative feedback is just as important as positive feedback - if not more so - as long as it is constructive and based on reason.
As for people basing their decision on whether to watch something after reading comments, well, at the end of the day they have to make up their own minds. That same wise person also said: "To find yourself, think for yourself". It's your time, your preferences, your enjoyment, your entertainment - not someone else's.

I sometimes like to persevere through a show for various reasons. I found invasion on Apple TV slow and disjointed, yet I still watched 2 seasons of it before dropping the third one (even though some people say it gets interesting so who knows I might pick it up again).
I do like the side characters and want to know what happens with Mok/Rome and Tawan/Aran. I watch some of the Thee/Peach stuff as well, but fast forward some of it when it gets too grating.
I also like how Est looks in that suit and his flustering when William is around (or Mok and Rome I should say)๐
I don't hate the series. This is what I don't get sometimes - why does some negative feedback and criticism automatically translate to som sort of "hating" in people's heads?
The world is not black and white. A show can be good and terrible at the same time.

Anyway, on to the next show!
I really don't have the energy for this anymore...
Go away.
