I tend to watch too many at the same time as well. However, I gave up Asian dramas for Lent so I'm not watching any except on sundays haha

I started with C-dramas but only a few and I've recently gone back to them.

I would definitely recommend it as it's a great Chinese drama and it's what introduced me to my favorite Chinese actor Hu Yi Tian.

Yes, I'm quite surprised at how negative people can be especially those who watched the other version. I have watched multiple versions of different shows such as boys over flowers/meteor garden and I enjoy each one for their own unique take on the storyline. However, I will say that there was one scene in episode 22 that I wish had been longer. The Chinese version has so much more dialogue in it that really explains what's going on with the ML. And while this new version is good (and for those of you who never watch the other version you wouldn't notice the difference) it would've been nicer to have a little bit more dialogue that explains his thought process and why he acted the way he did all those years. But that being said, it's still a great scene for Heon.

The main story points of each episode are covered but often times they leave out dialogue or scenes that help make more sense. That being said, if you've never seen the other version you probably won't notice. I really enjoyed this version even as a fan of the original.

Pretty sure the 23rd was the last episode of regular content and the 24th is just a fun extra like the Chinese version. This show has followed that one pretty closely so I doubt they'll skip that one.

Yes! If there could be a boys over flowers/meteor garden and every Asian countries why not the show too.

Let’s hope they fill in the blanks in the next episode but I highly doubt it. And I really wish that they wouldn’t do the same episode 24th at the other version because it seems like a waste. Yes it was kind of comical at the same time it does nothing for the plot and it would’ve been better used as more time for them to be together maybe even a wedding. However, as the show pretty much copies the other one For the most part I foresee episode 20 for being the same as the other one

I feel is though they could have cut out the scene where he talked to the other guy has nothing really happened in that at all. Then that would’ve allowed them more time for the scene which is much more important. But like you said at least included it.

Did you see it’s included but with much of the good dialogue cut out sadly.

I agree that I love how the immature parts were taken out and that Dae Song will get a happy ending. Wu Bo Song didn't get a happy ending so that was disappointing. Also, I'm glad they included my favorite scene with Heon confessing his true feelings to Dae Song but so much of the good dialogue was cut out which is sad. Yet another reason a mini-episode isn't a good idea.

Are you sure? I've seen that episode (didn't really like it because it's so out of place) but it's more about Xiaoxi trying out for the show not giving us Chen's perspective- not like they do at the end of 23.

I’m confused because the reviews and comments seem to be referring to episode 24 which isn’t the same as the synopsis above.

It wasn't a whole episode it was literally the little to be continued tag they always put at the end of the episode I think it was maybe 3 to 4 minutes but it definitely felt in a lot of the blanks. I'm sure they'll do that because they did the one the other day with him putting all the stuff from his trunk into the backseat. I don't know if they're going to do that apartment seen that I think you're referring to but I think they should because it is really adorable and I would hate to miss it. But if something has to go on the cutting floor I'm sure that would be it.

And yet we the viewers can just sit back and watch it all unfold and think "dudes if only you would sit down and talk". Haha! And I know I've said this before but my biggest issue with the show is that for some reason the producers decided to make it really short so the riders had to pair down a lot of the details that should've been in there. Not that they really did a lot of talking in the other version either. In fact you really don't find out what the male leaders thinking until the very end of the 23rd episode and it say "to be continued" tag so it'll be interesting to see if they do it the same way with this one which I'm pretty sure they will.

I don't know if you watched the Chinese version or not but I was re-watching that episode today and he does talk with the kid in the glasses before they do the photo shoot for her comic book. So I think they purposely are not showing that scene in the preview because they want to leave it as a surprise. But I'm pretty sure it will be in there because it's very important to the storyline and it gives us a sense of Heon and just how he has truly cared for Soli in his own way. Of course I'm pretty sure if they do include it it will be a lot shorter due to the fact of the whole freaking episode will be 20 minutes. But I don't think they would cut out something so important.

I like your very lengthy assessment and I almost completely agree with it. Well to be honest I agree with it for sure. However, one thing we learned from the Chinese version which I'm sure they will show here as well is that he rethought what he wanted to do. Plus, I believe it was revealed that he didn't actually want to go to the internship and was going to turn it down but when she broke up with him he felt as though he had no reason to stay and so he left. But like I said he did turn around and come back but unfortunately he saw her with the swimmer and thought she would be better off. So in some respects I can definitely understand her being upset because you're right they definitely should have talked about it. But they're both kind of stubborn and when she shut him out he didn't really have a chance to explain. Plus as we know he was suffering from the loss of his first patient and was probably in an emotional turmoil that just got compounded upon by being broken up with the love of his life. So it's easy to say that Heon wasn't considering Soli but for all we know he probably was planning to talk with her that night about it but she overheard it and it wasn't her fault or his fault that the cat jumped out of the bag.

No, I think it will still be in there I was just re-watching that particular episode from the Chinese version this morning and Jiang Chen does meet up with his buddy to talk about things with Chen Xiao Before the comic book photo session and the proposal. So I'm sure they will include it. Unfortunately because this show is only 20 to 22 minutes long I highly doubt it'll be as great as the Chinese version but I don't think they'll cut it out.
