I agree with both points made in this thread. I feel as though this is definitely a equal parts blame situation. Neither one of them was willing to really talk through what the heck was going on. And if you think about it Heon really wasn't at fault for being so busy that's the normal part of being a medical student. And yet I understand where Soli is coming from in that Heon isn't there for her in the way she needs especially with what happened. I think that's what frustrated me most about this particular relationship is that as long as they were together you think they would've understood each other enough to be able to just sit down and say hey this is what's going on. And I could understand him saying I never considered us broken up because in his heart there was never going to be anyone for him but her. However, I can also agree with the fact that it's a little arrogant to say that and it probably could've been written in a much better way. Sometimes I wonder what the writers are thinking when they script certain lines.

I am really enjoying the show and I'm OK with a lot of the stuff they cut out as long as I keep the main points. However, I'm going to be super super super pissed off if they cut out my all-time favorite scene of the whole show. And that's in episode 22 where the ML finally talks about how he really feels about the FL. In the Chinese version it was such a great scene because he never really talks about anything. And I feel as though the actor playing Cha Heon could do a good job as well if they let him. Other stuff can be cut out but that scene is super important.

Well thanks to someone else on this site I have been able to watch up to episode 34. And I'm not entirely sure if there will be "life after college" episodes or not but there could be. Then again, I don't think there is "life after college" scenes in the actual book. But then again I've only read up to so much because it's not translated into English entirely

Yes I think thanks to all the Chinese and Taiwanese Dramas I've watched plus the couple years I've been studying has definitely helped. But not as well as I would like.

I found the episodes thanks to another commentor but it's not subbed. Do you by any chance know how soon they'll get subs up? I've been able to figure out some of what they're saying with my limited knowledge of Mandarin Chinese but it would be nice to know for sure.

How soon do they sub it? Well I just need to wait until the official subs come out on Wednesday and Thursday?

How do I find that? I have a very Limited understanding of Mandarin Chinese but it’s enough that I can handle it with the context of everything going on around. I would love to be able to catch up and watch the rest of the episodes.

Have you seen an uncut version of it? I’ve only been able to find up to 28 but I know they’ve aired up to episode 33 I just got to find them

Right here this is exactly how I feel. I was watching 28 this morning and I just kept thinking this is dragging out way too long. I know he promise not to tell his ex-girlfriend secret and I don’t think he should have to. But I don’t know that he necessarily explained that clear enough and maybe if he did explain that it’s not something he can tell her cause it’s not his to tell maybe she let it go. But either way she should just grow up and MoveOn.

I suppose one could argue that this is a good representation of how it’s not just girls who pick idiot guys and can’t see it.

I do skip annoying annoying tomboy and I also skip the really toxic relationship between Baili and GeBi

The secondary couple is a little confusing to be honest. You could say that it's the roommate of the FL and the guy she likes. You could also say it's the roommate of the ML and the girl he likes. But I guess I'd have to go with the girls roommate

To be honest it was more of a "wrong place at the wrong time" moment. Even in the other version she's just sitting there and she's so drunk she doesn't realize who is right next to her and she lets her frustration out about her boyfriend and unfortunately it's the wrong guy. So even in both versions that's it. I think it was meant for comic affect but kind of falls flat.

I second that emotion. This is my only complaint really about the Korean series. I am really enjoying it but a lot of the context is missing because it is shorter. And I agree that it does seem out of place for these two characters to get together in this version because some of it is missing. But in the other version you understand better.

This is my only complaint about this version versus the Chinese version. Because they compress this one so much little things are left out that I hope you understand that better. Context is really important especially in a scene like that one and due to the shortened version of the show a lot of context is lost.

I have this on my plan to watch list because I'm still watching Hu Yi Tian's other currently airing show Plus a couple of other shows. I'm hearing mixed reactions from people in the comment section but I'm still excited to watch it. Even if there is confusion in the storyline I don't care. I'm sure it'll be an enjoyable story

I actually skipped over the opening credits because I didn't want to see anything. I learned from Gogo Squid how much they were giving away in the credits as well as his other two shows. So I didn't know about the wedding from the credits. But obviously I knew from looking at the photo. But I thought it was just gonna be a photo of HS and TN So I was a little caught off guard with that. But that's not on you that's on me for looking even though I knew I probably shouldn't. I'm definitely looking forward to it now
