Its a very well executed with great script , with some great acting, very attractive leads with great chemistry .. i love the cases and the settings surrounding the cases is very interesting... great cinematography, great styling and make up..what not to like??. .this is one of my fav series for this year...

Is yan ze the actual leader of cult group? He emerged after the group was caught and its supposed leader caught. He has same facial structure as the leader caught. And they figure cult is aiming for emperor... that would be the case if the leader is someone close to emperors circle , who suffered losses due to emperor, who wants to bring out truth... and may be li muyun is also part of tge group and hence tries to close off the case fast after that suppsoed leaders death

Or Muyun knows more than he is letting on. To keep himself safe or her ..he is probably close it

The whole scene was so preposterous... it was obvious it was a setup ..the back and forth with his cousin and he actually killed his cousin for her.. and even if she believes he saved her from his cousin and taking her to a place that looks like pre setup with candles and flowers , whom is he fooling... he is just a hot headed schemer , who thinks no one is deserving to marry him..aand can steal everything ..

How is it possible the empress dowager didnt recognise her own blood????? And didnt call out emperor as fake? Or prince Fu or Grand princess ..those who know the emperor intimately or his wives and concubines who know him more intimately

great story, very well executed , excellent cinematography , great acting by entire cast , well styled and sharp looking leads (kudos to makeup and styling team for doing an excellent job !) and casting team .... over all job well done by every single department
