Ok first kill me if you want but am I the only one who gets super childish vibes from Khanin? Like it’s not just abt him being hopeless or whatever but I feel like watching a child at times. I want to see more of Ava now!!
I think it's going to be the same as the BL of Yim and War, people like them.
respectfully not deserved. Budget was there sure but some side acting and even the plot had so many issues, tbh notice how people will mostly praise JnJ by talking abt YinWar? They don’t talk abt the plot, they will say « the plot was a masterpiece » but you barely hear anyone actually talking abt it. It’s clear that MDL is more abt who has the most supportive fanbase, good for them ig but it’s hard to find objective reviews there if everyone praise absolutely everything abt a show
Not a single "couple" in this show should even be considered one. Kinn 🍇s Porshe, beats him up, etc. Vegas…
Are you here to call out Kinn on killing people too? Or Porsche beating people up? BAck in the days people were mature enough to analyze a show in a mafia setting instead of crying bc it had problematic behavior in a problematic environment, why tf did you even watch it? Where was your moral when you started something classified as romance and saw the lead killing people as the intro? At least pretend to be good and don’t even start it idk https://href.li/?https://docs.google.com/document/d/1krf2IBe_w24LB5l6ti3XudRIPObG5JaHsrKZ58XAUKk/edit?usp=sharing Also what are you doing here lowkey, did you get a notification or something? This wasn’t even your comment
Spilt the whole rating of this serie over a couple that only appear in ep 10 out of 14 eps? Nah BL fandom fumbled KP hard, girl there are garbage here who are rating way higher you take back your 1, imagine rating 1 a show with Apo
idk is it only me? but why is still at 8 it deserves more as far as I think the storyline, production, music, actors…
it is, tbh 8 is a good rating, the issue for me is séries with way less work on production, storyline, complexity and acting getting higher notes, but you have to remember that KP is one of the most seen and most rated so there is far more diversity in the audience and then, it can be a controversial one for some people which explain some lower rating
The guys were with Jeff on stage for his concert omgg, the impact this serie has is crazy even 3 years later. Also Apo’s outfit omg Anyway just a fan girl moment to remind myself that I miss this serie sm
I’m sorry, but did we watch the same series? The camera work in this was phenomenal. Genuinely some of the most…
I remember one scene? I’ll give you the minutes when I find it) but I swear I saw the camera moving, it’s like a human filming on an iPhone yk? Idk why I even noticed it but I did, but honestly this isn’t a reason enough to make me dislike the story. There is a plot, decent actors ig (don’t know for Zee but I’ll invest in Nunew, now that I had time to digest Im going to get used to his acting and appreciate it for what it is bc he can for sure show range. Sadly my standard for production quality in BL so far would remain KP and I haven’t found this camera issue there. But anyway I’ll keep supporting this serie bc we need to appreciate and support Bl that are willing to put the money and creativity into them
Okay, so maybe this BL world isn’t for me—but I think I expected more. The writing in this episode felt too simplistic somehow. Events just followed one another without any real sense of connection or flow, and that really threw me off. I even noticed the camera shifting awkwardly during some scenes, which felt unprofessional.
As for the acting… well, this was my first ZNN series, and since they’re so highly praised in the BL sphere, I was expecting something stronger. Zee’s character comes off really flat and expressionless so far. I’m not sure if that’s because of his acting or just how the role is written—but honestly, this kind of character doesn’t demand much in terms of performance.
My biggest disappointment, though, is Nunew. Based on all the praise he’s gotten, I thought he’d be a top-tier actor. But I just don’t see it—his acting feels really inorganic. Some facial expressions are off or unconvincing, and other times it feels like he’s overacting.
The background music didn’t help either—it actually irritated me in several scenes. It reminded me of music from some Roblox royalty game, which I guess matches the tone of TNP’s setting, but still… it felt like too much. (I totally lost it during the party scene.)
The first fight scene was decent, but the last one felt off. Emotionally, I didn’t feel much from the episode overall—except maybe during the flashbacks with the father. Other than that, I just kept seeing ZNN—especially Nunew, since he handles the emotional scenes—playing these roles, rather than being immersed in the characters themselves.
That said, I’ll keep watching. I’m not sure why, but I want to see what this series has to offer. The budget clearly went somewhere, so maybe it’ll surprise me later on.
PS: I’m super picky when it comes to humor in shows—I cringe so easily—and I have a feeling TNP might lean into the kind of humor that really isn’t for me.
You claim to be lgbt+ and not be homophobic, and yet you are speaking like someone who is homophobic. This comment…
I can understand his frustration as the type he’s describing has always been the stereotyp for gay people in the West, so him not fiting it and seeing it as the only representation can be annoying I guess. But yeah it turns out his way of saying it can end up looking homophobic, it’s totally fine to be more « feminine » or « masculine », and it’s ok if he has preferences, but no need to bring one down for that. It’s great that, as he highlighted with his example, there are different types of representations now, expecially in Thai BL, so if he doesn’t like one type he can find another one which will suit him better
quick question is this show inspired by a Nobel or is it an original serie?
Edit (PS): also funny to see everyone criticizing Cutie pie here lmao, from the 2022 sphere you’d believe it was at the same level of Kinnporsche in terms of enjoyment, glad we can all agree that it wasn’t, hope TNP is going to good!!
